A peek inside my comfort zone

Awhile ago the lovely ladies I live with and I picked up roots and changed land locations and at that time I decided to not set up my little skybox that had been used at the other land.  Instead I put up a platform and kind of just had a photo studio in the sky.  Which is really all I have needed for a long time as I was blogging so much that I truly never had time for anything else.  In the last couple of months I have trimmed down my number of sponsors and started turning some of my attention to learning to create.  All of the sudden I had time and I was getting a bit antsy not having a place to call "home."  When Jamie Cross of unKindess released the Abandoned Loft for the current round of FaMESHed, I just KNEW it was time to put down roots again and create a little space to relax in with my friends, but mostly just for me.  For the first time, I bring you a peek inside my little home and what I mean when I say attic eclectic is my style!

The loft is a long, shotgun style, retreat featuring faded but elegantly detailed floral panels that divide the space.  The exposed bricks, aged wood floor and vintage detailing make this a perfect space for those shabby chic lovers like myself.  With the pieces I had from the previous skybox and other new things I have picked up along the way from junk. Zerkalo, Soy, NOMAD and of course a couple other items from unKindness, my nest was complete!

The Lexi Project ends tomorrow, August 9th, which means you only have about 12 more hours to head over to the event and pick up some fantastic items for a wonderful cause, including this wonderful new bench from unKindness.

The Rustic Bench has great aged wood along the bottom with a soft cushion to spend some time lounging on, alone or with a friend.  The bench comes in PG and Adult versions and has single poses as well to just sit and chat with friends.  Remember all proceeds of the bench sale go to assist Lexi Zelin and her family as she wages her war against her Cancer.  A great piece for an amazing cause!

The last round of the Arcade found me falling in love with certain machines, including the set from Soy.  Though I never got myself a rare, I did manage to pick up everything else which made my little Bohemian heart happy.  As you can see in this picture, I truly do mix and match colors, fabrics, styles, patterns etc., pretty much everything as long as it seems to flow.  Which, in my mind attic eclectic always flows as long as you pay attention to colors and tones.  But then again, it's my style so I am a little bit biased.  As you can see from this picture, the loft is quite long and narrow allowing you to have separate spaces.  If you missed the Comfort Tubbies from unKindness at CSR this Summer then make sure to head by the store and grab yours today and don't forget to check out all the other fabulous furniture pieces for your home!
