I have been up at the computer the last few days more than I have been in awhile and my back and neck are letting me know today which means I am a little short for words today.  But I have noticed lately that couples just don't seem to talk to each other like they should, or like they used to.  The common day banter has become less respectful and the term "my bitch" is used so very much and it really does bother me.  I wonder if they talk to their Mom's like that, or what they would say if someone spoke to their daughter the way they talk to the women they love.  So today I thought I would share a song that is dear to my heart and one my son knows very well too.  Hopefully that means I won't have to kick him for being disrespectful in the way he addresses the women in his life as he gets older.  I also wanted to remind everyone that Apply Me only has 5 days left for you to run over and grab new group gifts and some of the hottest pieces on the grid for all your mesh needs, including this wonderful new creation from Xxxstasi.

Every walk in the garden can be an adventure of wonder

Grace Kelly was a woman with exquisite taste, style defining looks and poise who exuded true femininity in all she did.  I am a huge old movie buff, and I remember sitting with my mother and watching Alfred Hitchcock movies and how the first time I saw her, I was captivated.  I have read every book ever written about her, and I have stared at pictures for hours taking in her classic, undeniable and eternal style.  She was a movie star and fashion icon long before she married the Prince of Monaco but it was in those days, when money was no longer a though, that she came into her own in the regards to fashion.  The cameras never missed a moment, and she always graced them with her flawless beauty.  There is something special in the old glitz and glamour days of Hollywood; whether it is simply the classic styling of the clothing, or the decadence that abounded, I am unsure.  All I know is that the women from those days, their clothes and the way they presented themselves, will always be something I admire.

I know all of you have heard the news that L'Accessories transitioned into the new event On9 bringing to you the same fantastic accessories you have come to know and love, plus clothing, and furniture!  Last month I was away quite a bit and didn't get the chance to check out the opening but I made sure I scampered on over as soon as this round opened.  If you haven't been by yet you really should take the time and go experience On9.  AnaMarkova Designs brings her amazing creations to the event this month with this stunning dress and shoes.  The "Selena" dress comes in several different color combinations with matching colors found in the "Laurel" heels.  I am wearing my Slink Physique as usual, and the dress fit perfectly with a few Alpha layers on with no breaking or stretching as I posed or moved, which of course is always a plus for those of us always out and about on the grid.  No.Match also has a gorgeous new hair for you to get your hands on at On9 as well, "No.Fear."

Stay Awhile

Good morning and welcome to March!  I have been away for a couple of days and now digging out of our largest snow storm of the season so I just had to toss on this magnificent new release from Ana Markova and take a stroll in the sunshine.  The "Sounja" collection comes in a variety of colors featuring the wonderful asymmetrical skirt and very flirty and tempting top.  The mesh is perfect and doesn't break when posing or walking, which if you follow my blog, then you know this is an important detail for those of us always on the move on the grid. Ana Markova has all kinds of gorgeous new goodies for you in the store so head on over and grab your favorites today!

I know some of you haven't made it by Sneak Peek yet and if you are looking for a watch to compliment every outfit then the exclusive release from Meva is exactly what you have been hoping to find!  The "Chronograph Diamonds" is expertly textured with wonderful details that can all be changed via a HUD.  There are several different metal selections and you can literally change every part of this watch other than the hands, making it incredibly versatile.  I have a feeling this watch will be finding it's way into many future posts because it is just amazing!  If you happened to miss the newest hairs from Little Bones released at N.21 then you need to make sure and see if the event is still running or head on over to the store fast!  The "Lady" style is a perfect hair to show off the neckline of a dress, a necklace or just when you want a long hair that does not interfere with your ensemble.  I fell in love with the Ombres a long time ago but the Landslide collection has now captivated my heart and you can often find me wandering on the grid in a hair from Little Bones.  This ensemble just begged me to stay awhile in it and enjoy the warmth the virtual sun brought to my bones this morning.  Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your day and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashions work for you!

Headlights in the Driveway

 
Pacing the house, stopping for a moment to warm myself at the fire; as I wait for the crunch of your tires on the gravel driveway, knowing I could still hear that sound with the soft snow that covered the ground.  Pouring a glass of wine, trying to keep myself occupied as my thoughts start to drift as worry over takes me.  Those black, glassy roads now lightly covered with snow making them even more treacherous tonight.  Dialing your number again, only to have it go straight to voice mail.  Staring into the fire and grumbling, "WHY did we have to move out here to the middle of no where?!"  Lost in that thought a noise draws me from my well of worry as my eyes rise from the floor to the door where your headlights now shine through the dark.  Funny how the smallest things can make your day.

I loved adding the "Tantrum" hair from Analog Dog to this outfit as I think the flowing curls give some softness to this otherwise urban, edgy ensemble.  Matched up with my favorite jewelery collection from GizzA and I was ready to take the day by force!  I just HAD to wear this gorgeous group gift from Poudre as well, because you all needed to see it!  The makeup is perfectly shaded for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday as well as just being fresh and bright which is always a plus during this rather dreary time of year.  Poudre has a couple new releases in-store along with the group gift so do yourself a favor and go check out the store!

Feeling Glamorous!

Ever have one of those moments when you put something on and suddenly you are transported somewhere else?  Whether it be in time or to an event?  When I slipped on the brand new "Marisol" dress from Bomshie, exclusively at Vogue's Arctic Blast, I was transported back to a more glamorous time.  Pick an era, 30's, 40's or 50's or today and this ensemble would fit in perfectly! 

The very classic feel of this dress, paired with Bougie's LisaKeo shoes, also a new and exclusive release at Arctic Blast, makes for fun accessorizing, as you can keep it modern or take it back a little.  Which, I decided to do a bit of both!  If you follow my blog, I rarely wear appliers, other than my Slink hands and feet, but I just thought this dress looked even more amazing when I put my Lolas on!  Makes for a hell of a profile to the dress, wouldn't you agree?

Having picked up the stole for an earlier photo shoot, I decided it would go quite nicely with this dress and I just LOVE how the whole thing turned out.  Did you see that GORGEOUS hair from Catwa?!  The vintage-esque sweeping long hair frames the face quite nicely and lies perfectly down the back giving a wonderfully, smooth, long line.  Whether dressing up or dressing down, the "Miss Fortune" hair is a must have for everyone's closet!

The Wild One

 

I am feeling a bit fierce tonight in this fantastic new release from Lush by CoCo currently at The Designer Showcase.  The Furry Vest comes in 4 different textures and is ONLY 150L right now!  The fit on the vest is perfect, and runs a little big which it is always nice to wiggle into a smaller size, now isn't it ladies?!  I paired it up with the Silk Leggings from LRD's "Gossip" release currently at Sneak Peek because I just loved the look!  And who wouldn't feel a bit fierce in Belleza's newest release, "Eva" at Uber.  The selection of makeups to choose from almost made me go for the Fatpack for this skin, but unfortunately my Linden amount would not.  So I picked up my favorite and I am a very happy girl!

The LUSH Life

One of my favorite things about getting involved with a new event is the chance to work with designers I haven't had the pleasure of working with before.  Sneak Peek is one of these events and I am blown away by the stunning designs being sent my way.  One in particular caught my attention yesterday and I just had to share with you the ND Wingback Jumpsuit Collection from Lush by CoCo.  

The Lush Life

The construction of this jumpsuit is absolutely perfect!  The textures are fantastic and the added detail of this gorgeous wing collar give you an open back, and sexy side boob making any of the jumpsuits a splendid addition to your wardrobe.  And you won't have to travel far to complete this look, as these adorable shoes are from Poute, also available at Sneak Peek.  The "Under Heat and Key" heels are available in several colors and they come with choices of gold or silver metal as well.  I love the detail of the heart lock on the bow over the peep toe!

~Crow~ has two new releases in store right now for the holidays!  A new metallic set and a retro one, so hurry on over and check out all the new goodies Mattie Rae has put out for everyone, and join the group to stay tuned for upcoming specials, new releases, events and SURPRISES!!!!  I had been struggling lately with wanting new eyes, and no matter whose I bought, I was never quite as happy as I was when exclusively using IKON.  I have now remedied this situation, and went and bought a TON of new eyes last night and I am once again a very happy camper!!!  So if for some reason, you haven't been over to the store yet, head on over!  The eyes are just wonderful!  Needless to say today, I have fallen for Lush by CoCo and I hope you do too!

XY's Final Days

November 21st is your last day to get into the XY Room, as they are taking a much needed break!  If you haven't gone you really should hurry on over and grab a few things before they disappear into the stores at full price!  So of course just had to put together one final post to tempt you into heading on over to XY while you still can!

Liv Glam has released several new outfits for XY Room and I absolutely fell in love with the "This is How We Do" set.  The full outfit contains a jacket, Mock Turtleneck dress and leggings, making it the perfect mix and match outfit for Fall, depending on the weather outside!

The Katie dress is available in several colors and the wedges go fantastically with each of them!  I love that the new mesh panels over system clothes are fitting so perfectly now.  I have been shying away for a bit as I hate fitting the panels and so many times they just do not fit smoothly.  The new mesh panels are AMAZING!  If you are still having trouble fitting them, here is a HINT!  If the panel is still visible from the side or you can see the edges, go into "Edit Appearance" and simply increase your tummy size, and VOILA, a perfect fit every time!  It took me a few tries to find this solution, but it does work every time.  Tried it on 3 different dresses by three different designers and every skirt panel fit perfectly!

Whatever fool said redheads don't look good in pink must have never been stunned by the often quite deadly combination.  The new group gift skin from Poudre, "Nicki Rising", offered me a perfect opportunity to show off why redheads are truly, pretty in pink!  And, I might have needed a pick me up, that rain, after all was a tapping on the window a bit too loudly, which of course led to some shopping therapy!  The newest round of Collab provided the perfect outfit for me to accessorize with some of my other fantastic finds this month!  Baiastice offers up this great caged top, which conveniently fits perfectly without an alpha, and skirt in a huge variety of colors and patterns, so make sure to go by and grab what you love most!  

A new round has opened at Cosmopolitan Sale Room and there are tons of new goodies at FANTASTIC prices for you to get your hands on!  7mad;Ravens has released the "Prime" collection for CSR that come in different colors and patterns.  The bracelets are unisex and come with a resizer so they are quite easy to fit.  Last round of CSR brought these fantastic shoes from Hilly Haalen, so make sure and check the store!  Last month, GizzA released this amazing jewelry set for La Metallique Fair from L'Accessoires.  The event has come to a close, but I am sure you will find  information at GizzA about the set.  And if you have managed to avoid The Thrift Shop, STOP IT!  Hurry on over and grab yourself one of the adorable "Promise" rings from Geek.  I was thrilled to get the Rare and just had to show it off!  The rings are absolutely perfectly designed and bring a wonderful feel of whimsy to my wardrobe!
