Home is where... Featuring Kaerri @ Swank, De(c)ocrate, Fancy Decor, The Loft and Scarlet Creative

This week has literally been FILLED with doctor's appointments for myself and for the kids, which means I have put over 200 miles on the car in 4 days and I feel like I haven't had a moment to sit and breathe! But yesterday brought great news in regards to my health, so that is a huge weight off the whole family's shoulders and now we can focus on the medical issues going on with the oldest boy. Having to go through all kinds of tests at 19 was not my wish for my child, and I am very worried because it was at the exact same age that my autoimmune issues reared their ugly head. Lots of blood tests, more heart tests and lots of shaken nerves and long nights has been the theme of our Fall. So with fingers crossed, positive thoughts and lots of cozy nights with the family planned for the next couple of weeks, is how we deal with this new hurdle. With that in mind, I started thinking about picking up a sign for the house, with a quote about family and I found the perfect quote, now just to find the sign or make it myself! The boys would LOVE that project on top of the floor next weekend! LOL
Home is where LOVE resides,

Memories are CREATED,

Friends are always WELCOME,

and FAMILY is forever.
And all of this made me finally put down a home on my land and started to decorate it again, which meant De(c)ocrate has become a part of my life, and OMG I got so excited when I got my first box this month and just had to incorporate a few goodies into this scene inspired by the GORGEOUS new living room collection from Kaerri, currently at the Swank event.

Home is where...

Happy Fall Y'all - Featuring Bee Designs @ Shiny Shabby and Kaerri @ 68 Main

Normally when the sun sinks into the sky a little bit earlier and the leaves begin to change I am exhilarated and invigorated, this year however is an exception! Since the Equinox here in the mountains of Arizona the nights have started to dip below freezing, my garden is officially trashed and waiting to be tilled under, and it does not feel like September, more like the last weeks of October or the start of November. I woke up this morning to a low lying haze around our area from all the fireplaces and wood stoves that were kicked into high gear, and chilled to the bone because we were NOT one of the ones ready for the thermometer to go plunging below freezing last night. By the time I headed out this morning at 10:30 am, the house had managed to creep into the low 60's and my dogs were huddled together with a look of confusion on their faces, since just the other day it was in the high 70's. Needing to warm my core a bit I decided to log on and set up this amazing cottage and decor collection, perfect for any time of year, from Bee Designs along with the newest flowers from Kaerri.

Happy Fall Y'all

I absolutely love all the little details in the Happy Fall Y'all gacha collection from Bee Designs, currently available at Shiny Shabby. The cottage is the perfect sized addition to your land if looking for a quaint place to relax and unwind. The cottage is complete with creeping ivy, sunflowers and a gorgeous little tree adorned in the colors of the season. The cottage is a RARE in the gacha where you can pick up almost all the other decor pictured here, other than the flower collections from Kaerri, available at the 68 Main event. Every piece in the gacha is incredibly well made with the colors blending well together as well as the textures and each item would go great in your Fall garden or on your front porch, so hurry by Shiny Shabby and grab some pieces today, or grab them all! And if you have been waiting for Kaerri to release more incredible floral decorations then hurry by 68 Main before it ends and check out the GORGEOUS new collection, exclusives to the event. Whether inside the house or out in the yard, each one of these should find their way into your home today, you won't be disappointed.

Come and sit for a while with me and talk about the good ol days – Kaerri @ The Home Show ’17

I'm pretty sure I was under the impression that life had calmed down and maybe I was hoping for a bit of excitement. What I had not planned on was the sudden trip to the emergency room this weekend, an EKG that looked like someone had zapped it with a taser, the words Atrial Fibrillation, and the days of this week suddenly filled with all kinds of appointments. I have had so many little sticky tabs attached to me over the past few days that I just gave up and if there are anymore I'm just going to leave them on til they fall off, instead of losing skin! This was definitely not the excitement I was looking for as we went on a drive on Saturday up the mountain, but it looks like my body had other things in mind. So now I wait for insurance to approve the rest of the tests I need to figure out what has happened to make my heart suddenly turn blond and not know when to beat, and that is seriously the hardest part of everything, WAITING! So if I seem a bit scattered in my posts and thoughts, we all now know why. I will continue to try and establish some sort of posting schedule, which is always a bit weird over the Summer with two teenage boys, and I promise I won't make you all wait to see all the newest goodies on the grid, including this absolutely GORGEOUS new release from Kaerri, an exclusive for The Home Show 2017.

Come and sit for a while with me and talk about the good ol days

The Solano Living Room collection comes complete with everything pictured here, minus the curtains. The colors are modern with a twist on the neutral palette, allowing for the addition of other accent colors and designs. Each piece is meticulously created and the textures are amazing!! The little details truly make this set, the candles, the stunning vases, and wonderfully textured books with a cup of tea or coffee, whichever you please. If you don't have room on your walls then take advantage of the edgy styling in Kaerri's set up with the painting leaning on either a chair or a lamp, as I have chosen above. If you have been following my blog then you have already seen the bright and cozy kitchen collection that bares the same name as the living room collection. Do yourself a favor and head on by the Home Show today and see the sets for yourself and be inspired to design a couple new spaces in your home with the Solano collections from Kaerri!

Chasing after gold mines - Featuring Kaerri for The Home Show '17

I know that many of us love the neutral palette because as bloggers it allows us to be able to add pieces to a scene with ease because the colors blend so well together.  From time to time it's nice to add some color to our lives and with Summer in full bloom, it is the perfect time to do just that!  The Home Show '17 began on the 8th of July and will run through the 29th, giving you plenty of time to do some wandering around the event and to pick up some new goodies, including this absolutely stunning new dining collection from Kaerri.

The Solano Dining Collection comes complete with artwork, plants, table, chairs, candles, lemons, rug and plenty of bright yellow for your Summer decor.  The textures are wonderfully done and each piece goes well with the other, showing a great attention to detail.  I loved how it fit in the small nook in my home, perfect for a small dining area, making it cozy and bright, a wonderful spot to sit and sip some lemonade away from the heat.  There is also a gorgeous living room collection available at the event, so stay tuned, because you know I will just have to show it off as well!  The Home Show '17 runs now through the end of the month so do yourself a favor and go peruse all the latest goodies for your home and garden today!

Celebrating the MadPea International Food Fair with Kaerri

Over the weekend my blog hit 100k in visitors, and I sadly missed it since I don't get to check in on the weekends, but with my return today I decided to celebrate the numbers turning to the six digits by talking about the MadPea International Food Fair currently happening on the grid.  The event runs through March 4th and happens to be benefiting and amazing cause, Feed a Smile.  This is the first time this event has run on the grid, but you won't be disappointed by the number of top creators from across the grid participating in this amazing event!  Designers are selling food themed items and gachas during the event with with 50% of all profits going to help build a kitchen in Rhonda Slums of Nakuru, Kenya.  So do yourself a favor, and the children of Nakuru, and head on over to the event, you won't be disappointed.  Whether you are into live music shows and DJ's, art, or simply want to come peruse the items and donate as you can, then head on over to the MadPea International Food Fair and their website >HERE< and get all the details today!

Kaerri offers up this absolutely GORGEOUS collection for the event, offering several pieces to decorate your home or garden with, as well as several scrumptious food dishes that have my mouth watering!  I have a feeling many of these pieces will be finding their way into permanent homes on my property, as soon as I get it decorated that is.  The overall texturing and attention to detailing is exquisite with the colors blending well with each other, tying each piece together with the next, creating a soothing and tropical oasis for you to relax into.

If you are having a party any time soon, or enjoy having your kitchen look a little lived in, then grab the food pieces while you can, you will be stunned at home real these textures look, I know I am.  And now that this post has made me thoroughly hungry I am going to head off and grab a late lunch, but while I do that head on over to the event and get your MadPea on!

Amidst the ruins of what used to be - Addams, Truth, Glam Affair, unKindness, The Epiphany, Izzie's

If you have traveled out west to Arizona then you know that the blending of cultures is sometimes almost seamless here with Spanish Missions falling to ruins on Native lands, and vice versa.  History has shown missionaries and the like bringing their Christian beliefs to the indigenous people of the West, with many embracing the new religion while continuing to follow their own traditions, making this area very rich in blended cultures.  I was excited to find The Epiphany up and running upon my return so I could do some shopping and do a little bit of catch up after being gone for three months.  And I was absolutely blown away by some of the offerings available only at the event, including this absolutely gorgeous ensemble from Addams.  With the release of unKindness's Pueblo Viejo for the event I jumped at the chance to pick up this outfit so I could put the Native Princess beside the Spanish Mission, creating a capture you can find duplicated throughout the history of art in the Southwest.

The Zara Collection by Addams comes with a necklace, bracelets, top and pants with several different color combinations as well as a RARE color, featured here on the top, at a reasonable pull price, meaning you won't break the bank trying to get your favorite ensemble put together.  I love the fit on both pieces and the detailing and texturing is absolutely exquisite!  If you happened to pass by the gacha and not stop do yourself a favor and head on back and grab yours today, I promise you won't be disappointed!  Truth has three different hairs available for The Epiphany all in one gacha, and I was tickled pink to get the RARE on my first pull, which means I am coveting the reds at the moment, and we know how much I love being a fiery redhead!  I love the flow and detailing on all three hairs but this one works well with most outfits with little cutting into the body, it is the perfect hair for a long, soft, silhouette, so hurry and pick one up for yourself!

Upon my return I was delighted to see a trinket from Petit Chat.  The event has already ended but I know it will be making it's way to the store shortly and I think everyone needs to get their hands on this fantastic new necklace.  The Vintage Bows necklace comes in two versions, Heavy and Thin, meaning you will find the perfect fit, OH and it is Unisex as well, so even the men can have a casual, vintage look to accompany yours.  Every piece can be customized to your liking by simply changing the color, or playing with Glow and Transparency in Edit mode, making it an incredibly versatile piece of jewelry that just has to make it into your jewelry box!  And to complete the look make sure to stop by Izzie's and grab the Metallic Arrow tattoo to enhance your look once your picked up the Zara collection from Addams!

Sometimes when you get lost, you find the most amazing things - unKindness, The Epiphany

As most of you know, I have had an unexpected vacation from Second Life and blogging since the start of November due to a slow recovery from surgery.  I am finally starting to feel like myself again which means I have been getting back up to speed with all of the new changes that have come to SL in my absence, and spending time playing with the new Bento heads.  It is almost like starting all over when you have been away for awhile but as the creator of unKindness said earlier today, "the changes and advances continue to challenge creators to try and do more," which I have to completely agree with, especially as I wandered out onto the grid the past few days.  Everything looks new, and it has even inspired me to push myself a bit further for the year of 2017.  I stated last year that 2016 was going to be my year of learning, I just never expected it to be more about my health than my future on Second Life, but I think this is the year I focus a bit more and start to spread my wings a bit.

I feel like I have been lost for the past few months, which most of you know is something I like to do anyway, to be honest, because blogging has become more than a hobby for me, it is where I can release stress and unwind while tapping into my creative side, hoping to find a bit of genius there, or at least brilliance! (winks)  One of the very first things I opened once I returned was the amazing La Viejo Gacha Collection from unKindness, that is currently available at The Epiphany, through the 15th of the month, and I just had to share it with you all!

This amazing collection is perfect for a picture taking sim, or just an addition to your land, if looking to add a bit of rustic flair with a Spanish influence.  Each piece has very low land impact, meaning you can decorate without worrying about crashing your land or lagging everyone to death.  Each piece is incredibly well made with a wonderful attention to detail, with every piece created to accent the others, creating an entire town that flows no matter how you decide to put it together.  Do yourself a favor and head on over to the event before it's too late, because you won't be able to get your hands on the Gallows for the Pueblo Viejo set, as it is an exclusive to the event and won't be sold again!

Final Farmers Market of the Season

One of my favorite things about Flagstaff from the first of May until the end of October we have a weekly Farmers Market held downtown that you can spend hours wandering around picking up everything from Fresh Squeezed Lemonade to Fresh Flowers to fruits, vegetables and meats.  Our little mountain town comes out in force every Sunday between 8am and noon to help support the local farmers and ranchers, and I have been very grateful to have the second location close to me every Wednesday afternoon.  That location closes down it's doors at the end of August so you can bet I will be heading downtown this final Sunday to pick up the last goodies of the season and maybe a few treats for the family.  As I unpacked this wonderful new set from Kaerri, exclusively available at Linden Labs Shop Til You Drop event I was reminded of all the fun things I am sure I will pick up just in time for Halloween this Sunday, with hopefully a lot more fruits and veggies!  If you happen to have a local Farmers Market see if they are having their final Halloween Harvest this weekend and pick up some fabulous fresh goodies this weekend!

So much to do and so little time to do it in

The final countdown has begun for me to be out of my townhouse permanently and all of the sudden it seems like there is so much to do, and so little time to do it in that I have started to silently panic!  Today I got to take a breather and have breakfast with my Mom, which we really never get to do anymore, and it was a lovely break from the normal hustle and bustle of my days, but now I feel like I lost the whole day and it's almost time to pick the boys up from school.  I honestly don't know how I am going to get it all done before the end of the month, so next month all we have to worry about is the garage sale, cleaning the carpets and getting the place cleaned, but one way or another it will all be finished on time, no matter how many late nights it takes!  Which of course, you can imagine this means I will be a tad bit busy this month with juggling two houses, the boys and school and of course my blogging, which we know is a serious stress reliever for me, but I am always up for a challenge!  If there happen to be a few posts where I don't talk much, at least my dedicated readers will know why, since we all know I love to blabber!

For those of you South of the Equator, I know you are having dreams of Spring, and for those of us where the temperatures are starting to drop, the patio is becoming more frequently used which means everyone needs a few new things to finish off your decor.  Kaerri has released the Koloa collection in the store, which is available as a set at 50% off, or as individual pieces.  I love the very tropical feel of this collection, especially the lush plants and the table is AMAZING, with every piece tied together in glorious detail.  Do yourself a favor and head on by the store today, you won't be disappointed!

The perfect backyard desert oasis - La Joya Collection by Kaerri

Many years ago I came to the conclusion that people either love or hate the desert, and usually that means anything and everything that goes along with it.  When I first stepped off the plane almost twenty years ago now in Phoenix in the middle of December after a rainstorm, I was hooked.  The smell of creosote that permeates the air after it rains is truly a scent you can find no where else in the United States other than in the desert of the Southwest.  The way the light plays off the sand as the sun sets, with the statuesque Saguaro's that only grow in the Sonoran desert, dotting the horizon as the sun sets.  It wasn't until I had seen a sunset out here that I truly understood the phrase "purple mountains majesty."  The light dances off the rocks in such a way that the mountains, more times than not, reflect a beautiful aubergine with every hue of purple, blue and green.  I have known people who, while they appreciate the scenery, find the desert to be desolate and unfriendly, especially in the Summer when the temperatures rise into the triple digits, however, not all parts of Arizona, or New Mexico are like the deserts one pictures in their mind.  The high desert has majestic mountains, crystal clear streams, with the Ponderosa Pine trees looming large overhead that shield the wildlife from the blinding Winter snow storms.  I guess that is the well kept secret of those who have retreated to the mountains of Arizona, and why we stay in our little towns and far from the cities down the mountain.  You won't find a large city in the Northern parts of Arizona, and if you look at a population density map, you will find that many parts are still considered remote with the majority being National Forest protected lands, giving you hundreds of miles of trails to wander on.  Though I moved from Phoenix years ago, I still love the bright colors and often wild and eclectic designs that make up Southwest décor, and when I saw this amazing new collection from Kaerri I was delighted to set up my little desert oasis on Second Life, and I am sure you will too!

You will find the collection outside in the back of the store, so make sure you wander back there and check out everything on your way through, you will be amazed at all the fantastic interior décor items you will find, I promise!

(A little self indulgence here because I love this song and just HAD to share)

When Second Life and Real Life Collide

For the first time in all my years online I have a real life boyfriend who happens to be incredibly supportive of what I do, which I am truly thankful for but lately, with it being Summer, my posts find me with far less clothes on than normal and today I had, in my opinion, a rather amusing conversation.  As I sat down to do my post for the day, I showed him the photos I had already set up and asked his opinion on which one I should do first.  I chose to do a furniture post, but in the grouping of photos happens to be another bikini and tattoos picture.  Out of the mouth of my oh so supportive man suddenly came the following, "Why do you have to wear so little in what seems like ALL your posts?  Do you always have to be half naked?"  To which I responded with a few minutes of hysterical laughter, but the look on his face said he wasn't really kidding.  I had to take a step back for a moment and consider his position on the matter, and I still find it amusing.  Now maybe this is because I see "Jade" as an entity outside myself, a character I have created who happens to resemble me a tiny bit in my younger years, and who happens to share my personality simply because I have chosen to just be me, not a persona online; or maybe it's simply because I have been online for so many years and have gotten desensitized to what I do, I'm really not sure, but I have a hard time taking him seriously.  And I don't want to belittle his feelings on the matter, I am truly trying to see his point of view, but on this I think we will end up having to agree to disagree.  Being a blogger is different than just running around the grid half naked and role playing with people in say strip clubs or music venues, etc, there is rarely an exchange between people unless you happen to be doing a couples pose or something along those lines, so I don't think it crosses any real or imagined relationship boundaries.  But if my partner does, how far do I bend in my work to keep him from feeling the way he is at the moment?  I am a firm believer in bending in relationships, as it allows each person to still have what they want, to a certain extent and one person doesn't feel like they are always compromising while the other stands steadfast in their resolve.  So I went through my blog and my photos and showed him that I very rarely tiptoe into waters that make my blog have more than a PG-13 rating, and he was much happier.  I have a feeling he thought my blog was bordering on too risque for him, and with us both having an online presence, just in different ways, he felt that would be crossing a bit of a boundary for him.  And when you are in love, if your partner feels like a boundary could be crossed or has been crossed in their eyes, then you have inflicted damage that will take a long time to heal.  But if you discuss those moments rationally when you don't see eye to eye it's amazing how much you discover about each other, because no one loves the same, which is why love is so intricately and infinitely beautiful.

I very rarely go nuts over a gacha, ok, I lie, but seriously, there aren't that many I will play until I have all the pieces, and Foxes Traveling Heart gacha currently at The Epiphany saw me playing until I had everything, then I went home, unpacked all my extras, got my points and scampered on back to pick up the exclusive.  Which is now set up on the back part of my property because I absolutely adore every piece, and I love how well they mix with some of my other well loved boho pieces, including the new pillows from unKindness that you can pick up at the current round of Shiny Shabby.

If you happen to be a lover of the boho culture and design do yourself a favor and check out The Epiphany and Shiny Shabby's current rounds because I promise you will find all kinds of goodies to decorate your secluded relaxation spot or trendy boho home.

Ocean Loft Set by [CIRCA] @ Color Me Project

I was fortunate enough in my youth to get to travel all over the world, but one of my favorite places was Maui, where we spent every Christmas.  I have always loved decorating one room in the house, usually the one with the most windows in bright floral prints and solids with rattan and wood bases and no matter where you look in my home you will find plants, flowering and not.  These little things make me happy and give me those warm and fuzzies of home that I truly love.  The newest release from [CIRCA] for the Color Me Project reminds me a lot of those days on Maui and it made me a bit nostalgic for those times with my toes curled in the sand with no cares in the world.

Always Deer - A Tribute to the late Alan Rickman

I remember standing in line at Barnes and Noble in 1998 to pick up the first two Harry Potter books with a big pregnant belly.  I remember the first being a constant companion during a mostly bed-ridden pregnancy and I remember distinctly the feeling of falling in love with the characters.  When my son was born, I read to him nightly from the books and through the years they became a staple of our lives.  When my son's Father was killed, I know I buried myself in books and movies to escape my pain, and I know the movies were in constant rotation in the VCR.  My son identified with Harry, and the loss of his parents quite significantly and I believe there were times when the movies helped ease his grief as well.  As the years have gone by we both tend to do our movie marathons of the Harry Potter collection, curled up on my bed.  Waking yesterday to the news of Alan Rickman's passing, was a shock to both our systems and as I looked in his eyes I could see part of his childhood slip away, and that mature young man suddenly seemed like a little boy again.  Though he had many other roles in his career, the one of Professor Snape, had a profound influence on my son and I's lives.  Rest in peace Professor Snape, the world is still lit by the wands being raised in your honor.

The wonderful creative team at unKindness are also true Harry Potter fans and also were truly saddened to hear of Alan Rickman's passing; and in loving tribute this wonderful  "Always Deer" sign was created and is available for everyone to pick up at the main store.  The biggest lesson I learned from the series is that love never dies.  We carry a piece of our loved ones with us even when they have left this world, and that even in the darkest of hours, that love can save us, Always.

Lost in memories of Christmas

Do you remember when Christmas was filled with toys that sometimes required batteries, the bigger the stuffed animal the better, parents stayed up hours to put together bicycles, and hours spent sitting around the tree with the family No one thinking of working on Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day and the biggest stressor was often the drunk Aunt passed out on the sofa after sneaking a bit too much Rum in her Eggnog.  Now, everyone under 25 is glued to a phone/laptop/tablet and the gifts always have something to do with video games or computers which makes them small, and the invention of gift cards, though convenient they taken much of the fun out of opening gifts, in my opinion.  As we continue to grow more and more attached to our technological devices the more distant we grow from each other, it seems.  When our family gets together there is a basket for all the devices to be tossed in during "family" events, like dinner, movies or like later this week, Christmas.  Everything has become automatic, convenient, and easy yet the times before that seem easier and I truly long for them.  Even my family, who cherishes our time together has gone to checks the month before so we can buy what we want and part of me really hates that system.  I long to be surprised on Christmas morning again with a gift I never would have thought to buy for myself and I wish for a time when tons of presents are stacked under the tree, or at least a couple special ones.  In the end, I guess I wish for a simpler time when everything wasn't automatic.

The final day for the Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase and the SL 2015 Christmas Expo

Complete Christmas Living Room - Kaerri @ Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase
I hope that everyone has headed by SL 2015 Christmas Expo and the Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase  to give a little back this holiday season, but just in case you haven't had the time then make sure you do it SOON, the events both end TODAY!  I waited til a little after midnight for me to do this post (though now it's almost 1 a.m. lol) so I could remind everyone that it is the 14th, which means that you will no longer be able to see the amazing art featured at the Windlight Winter Art Show and have a chance to donate directly or through purchases from the showcase to Team Diabetes of SL; or all of the fantastic creations featured at the SL 2015 Christmas Expo.

This elegant, and tasteful Christmas themed living room comes from the mind of Kaerri and is only available at the Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase.  The build by unKindness is the only thing not by Kaerri in these pictures, meaning you don't have to worry about where anything goes, or if your Christmas pieces go together.  You are guaranteed a perfect Christmas celebration with your friends and family in this magnificent set so HURRY before it's too late!

Cocktails anyone?

Of course, if you haven't had time to do any shopping at these events yet, that means you haven't picked up your Holiday party dress either, Entice makes it simple to answer that dilemma with this gorgeous new release for the SL 2015 Christmas ExpoEntice has several releases for the event but this dress called "Don't", which kind of made me giggle in a bit of an evil way, combined with the "Extraordinary Heels" also an Entice design, makes quite a striking ensemble, exactly what you are looking for if you are wanting to make a statement this December!

Don't - Entice @ SL 2015 Christmas Expo
There are so many wonderful goodies at the Christmas Expo that I just couldn't decide what all to show off to you in the last two weeks, but I wanted to share with you my favorite pieces as the events close, so you can go get your hands on your own today!

Epiphany - Tantulum @ SL 2015 Christmas Expo
This necklace and ring set are just stunning, and I absolutely love this creation from Tantalum, an exclusive for the Christmas Expo and you don't need a better reason to go grab yours when a portion or all of the proceeds of the sale go to Relay for Life.  These adorable nails from ZOZ can only be found at the event as well and they come in a wide variety of colors meaning you will find the perfect match to your holiday ensembles.  I know I won't be taking off these two accessories for awhile which means you need a set of each in your inventory today!  Remember, both the events end TODAY so HURRY up!  What are you waiting for?!  Why are you still reading?!  GO!  SHEESH!

Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase and unKindness decorate my Winter wonderland

The Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase opened on the 7th at a wonderfully appointed venue featuring some of Second Life's best artists as well as creations perfect or the Holiday season.  I was delighted with the number of outdoor decorations available at the event because after decorating my home with snow and trees I was needing a spot to relax with friends and I found the perfect decor created by Park Place.  I grabbed several of the releases from the event and some of my Winter favorites from unKindness and created my own Winter Wonderland, come along with me and relax by the fire!

The Chair, Ottoman and Fire Table from Park Place are wonderfully textured and fit great in an outdoor setting and I just love the decoration on the Ottoman, its adorable.  Each piece can be picked up at the event and remember all or part of the proceeds go to Team Diabetes, which means you are getting great decor items and donating to a worthy cause!  Make sure to check out the links below for all your info about the event and about Team Diabetes!

I loved this little setting so much that I grabbed the newest release from NoName and went and curled up watching the snow fall for a bit.  I LOVE this ski coat and turtleneck combination NoName has released, with it's amazing HUD we have all come to know and love, offering you several color options for the main jacket and all the detailing.  The ski boots come in different sizes, and have the fantastic NoName HUD as well, so you can match your boots to your jacket!  They also fit well with the leggings from Alaskametro completing my "Snow Bunny" ensemble.

This is going to be a Christmas fit for a Princess, and it's about time I had one

I have always wanted my very own fairy tale mirror with lights, and preferably a Fairy God Mother, but we know that isn't going to happen, but as luck will have it, I now have my very own Princess Mirror!  I might have gotten a bit excited when I saw this mirror was going to be at The Fantasy Collective and I actually made myself wait to get it until yesterday, if you can believe it, but I was waiting for the crowds to die down and to really have time to look around.  That event makes me crazy though because I have a tendency to get lost in all those winding paths and crisscrossing pathways, but when I am on a mission it doesn't matter, that mirror was going to be mine!  I happened up on a few other things while I was there, which was a happy surprise as well, so check out the website for the event to grab the shopping guide and get your hands on some wonderfully whimsical items!

I was actually putting all of this together for another post when I finally connected with the wonderful Luana Barzane and got all my blogger stuff and two gorgeous new gowns for Amarelo Manga!  The Nilfa Long Gown has a fantastic Teal to Gold fade from the bottom to the top that is flawless and the dress fits magnificently well without breaking or stretching as I posed and moved around.  Looking for a curve hugging, cleavage baring dress for the Holiday season then make sure to head on by the store today!

I often think that nail designers don't get a lot of credit for the hard work that they do, so I am trying to make sure I include them in my posts with a close up to spotlight the incredible designs made on such a tiny platform!  This release can only be found at the SL 2015 Christmas Expo right with all or part of the proceeds going to benefit Relay for Life, so you get fabulous nails AND get to donate to a wonderful cause!  What could be better?!
