Making relationships last takes a lot of work on both parts. But it's that commitment to doing the work, I think, that is the foundation for a good relationship. Even when things get bad, and the stress levels are approaching overload; when you are struggling to like each other, the commitment to making it, together, is what makes you stronger, as a couple. But I think sometimes we lose sight of why we fell in love in the first place, and that we all need a little reminding from time to time.
Remind Me
We didn't care if people stared We'd make out in a crowd somewhere Somebody'd tell us to get a room It's hard to believe that was me and you
Now we keep saying that we're OK But I don't want to settle for good not great I miss the way that it felt back then I wanna feel that way again
Been so long that you'd forget The way I used to kiss your neck Remind me, remind me So on fire, so in love Way back when we couldn't get enough Remind me, remind me
Remember the airport dropping me off We were kissing goodbye and we couldn't stop I felt bad cause you missed your flight But that meant we had one more night
Do you remember how it used to be We'd turn out the lights and didn't just sleep Remind me baby remind me
Oh so on fire so in love That look in your eyes that I miss so much Remind me, baby remind me
I wanna feel that way Yeah I wanna hold you close Oh if you still love me Don't just assume I know
Oh baby remind me, remind me
Do you remember the way it felt? You mean back when we couldn't control ourselves Remind me, yeah remind me
All those things that you used to do That made me fall in love with you Remind me, oh baby remind me
Yeah you'd wake up in my old t-shirt All those mornings I was late for work Remind me, oh baby remind me yeah Oh baby remind me baby remind me

Today is one of those days that apparently my heart just wants to march to the beat of it's own drummer, with no rhyme or reason, at least not that I can find! And as usual it has me in a bit of an odd mood, but not a bad one, more like playful and whimsical. I'm sure my kids would tell you I am in full smart ass mode, but I of course, am trying to sugar coat it a bit. But life, as it is, has been showing it's ugly face and a long time ago I decided to meet these moments with levity and a wry sense of humor, while at the same time, being in the arms of the man I love, surrounded by my kids and friends is where I long to be. That place where all the stress melts away for a few moments and you can simply breathe with those who know you best. A time to close your eyes, take a long deep breath and let their love rain down on you.
Butterfly
In my mother's house
There's a photograph
Of a day gone past
Always makes me laugh
There's a little girl
Wary of the world
She got much to learn
Get her fingers burned
An affinity
Between you and me
Cause we're family
Said that I'd be fine
Give me all your time
And I left your side
Like a butterfly
Shower me with your love
All of everyday
You make the red rose sun
Shine on me
Lift me up so high
Watch me fly away
Would you live your life
Like a butterfly
In my mother's house
There was happiness
I wrapped my myself in it
Was my chrysalis
As my life unfolds
See a pattern through
Of you protecting me
And I protecting you
What was that you'd say
Make your own mistakes
And when you're grown
Make sure that you remain the same
Now I realise
What was on your mind
When I left your side
Like a butter fly
Shower me with your love
All of everyday
You make the red rose sun
Shine on me
Lift me up so high
Watch me fly away
Give me life
Like a butterfly
Shower me with your love
All of everyday
You make the red rose sun
Shine on me
Lift me up so high
Watch me fly away
Give me life
Like a butterfly
If you are a little bit of a bohemian like I am, or you love flirty, feminine accessories, then you seriously need to hurry over to the current round of The Chapter Four and pick up this beautiful new headband from Petit Chat. The Abigail Headband comes with a HUD with 8 options on 5 parts. As usual every part of this design can be customized to fit your mood or ensemble and make sure to check out the notecard in your package about further customization techniques. The textures are expertly done and with the amount of choices on the HUD it is incredibly versatile, making it a wonderful addition to every accessory collection! And if you haven't noticed, there is a trend towards having Styling HUDS that come with different hairs, offering different styles in one purchase, which for me, is absolutely NEEDED! I have fallen in love with the newest release from Truth @ Uber and all the styles you can choose just by buying one hair, so hurry over and check it out, I promise you won't be disappointed!

For the most part, I don't consider myself that different from other people when it comes to doing what you have to and smiling even when you feel like cutting someone's head off, but I remember when my temper got places before me and, on occasion, I kind of miss being able to get away with having a short fuse. For the last couple of weeks my car has had a big sign on it saying "screw with me," at least that's how it seems. From the idiot who was following too close, so I slowed down and found he and his Jeep off the road on the right hand side of me, acting like he was going to hit the car, to the guy downtown who decided that he owned the road and didn't care if I was already in the turn lane and ran me into the curb, it has been a free for all on my car! Which has had my nerves on edge, because of course the last possible thing I need would be an accident with my low back still hanging on by a hopeful thread, and all the screws in my neck. Needless to say when the girls invited me to go with them to the male dance show Friday night, I was ready to have someone else drive and to blow off some steam. For most people, driving isn't stressful, but on average I spend at least 4-5 hours a day in a car hauling the boys back and forth to school, going to work still at a friends house, and running errands for our home. For a bit now I have been unable to drink anything accept Vodka, my boyfriend says this makes me a cheap date, since I also don't happen to drink very often. So Friday night my best friend introduced me to her home-made, organic Blackberry Vodka, made with berries picked from Oak Creek Canyon here in Arizona; and it and I have become great friends, especially since it didn't carry the dark cloud of a hangover with it. Once the luscious dark purple liquid had calmed my nerves and loosened my tongue, I found myself talking to them about the week and the idiot drivers I had encountered and that those situations had made me realize that at some point, my hair trigger temper has gotten very tempered. To be honest, I hadn't realized this until faced with the moron off the road, inches away from my car and I didn't run him off the road. Seriously one of those moments where I was asking myself what happened as I didn't react and just hoped survival of the fittest would kick in and the dumb ass wouldn't make it. Shortly after telling the ladies about the events of the week, I had my first encounter with the drunk blond girl who decided she liked to elbow her way through the crowd, and once again looked at them and said I really didn't know what happened to me over the years. On the inebriated hooligan's third pass through the crowd with her pointy elbows and head I could rest my drink on, that temper I spoke of might have jumped up and bit her in the ass, or more appropriately the floor, since she tripped over the foot I might have pulled back a bit more slowly than she was moving. I made sure she was all right, but I have to admit I felt a bit better about my week and about myself, still got that fire down below, even if it is a bit of a short fuse!
I have to admit, I wish I owned this outfit in RL for this past Friday night's excursion, it would have fit my mood perfectly! I got this fabulous dress from Rock Your Rack, which happens to have shut down yesterday, but I still had to show it off along with these absolutely AMAZING new boots and jewelry available at FaMESHed. The Vina dress from Zibska comes with a color change HUD offering several different tone selections, and if you head by FaMESHed and grab these boots from [Gos] you will be pleased to discover they perfectly mix and match together, meaning you can create several ensembles with different looks with the purchase of just two items, which means you have no reason to not go grab both items! The boots come in a wide variety of colors, though I love the black, as well as several different sizes to fit standard and mesh bodies. I am sure the dress will be in the main store for Zibska later this week, so make sure to check back, and you only have about a week left to stop by FaMESHed and check out these and all the offering wonderful offerings that always make up the event. So what are you waiting for?! Hurry up and get your shop on!
From time to time, over the years, I have gone through bouts of insomnia, usually when under severe stress. Which means I am not exactly surprised by the fact that I have been waking every night between midnight and 2 am and staying up for a couple of hours before being able to snuggle back up in bed. Time seemed to have gone into fast forward the past month and the stress of finalizing the move, my soon to be landlord making things a bit difficult, health insurance being, and a sudden health crisis have me pacing the living room in the wee hours of the morning. If you have ever suffered from insomnia, then you know your brain seems to be running in the highest gear possible causing you to ruminate over even the most mundane of topics. I try to keep those demons at bay by reading, or playing pool on my phone, which has become a new addiction, or doing a bit of yoga, and often a combination of all of the above! I realized very early this morning, as I stood on the porch watching a Red-tailed Hawk eye the birds flitting around for their breakfast in the newly mowed field that one thing I haven't managed to put on my new phone is MUSIC! I am starting to go through a bit of withdrawal since I am used to having Spotify, Youtube, or the radio when at home, and the new house still has no net so two of those things are out of the question, as is a radio since I still haven't found where I packed mine! Soothing techniques are important when you happen to be a late night, early morning, restless and anxious person; and I have an arsenal at my beckoned call, but sometimes your brain just doesn't want to sleep. When I saw my Doctor the other day, I told her about the most recent spell of sleeplessness and she told me to wait about 10 minutes before getting out of bed, and if I am still restless to then get up and take a bath and relax and just let my brain do it's thing. I was kind of amused, to be honest, because that is really the last thing you expect from a Physician, but then again, I picked her for that very reason. So I guess, until the stress subsides, or my brain decides it's time for a full nights sleep, I will be tossing and turning all night! (You had to know I was going to end up tying this up to a song, right?!)
As I have said in the past, I absolutely love blogging for the We Love to Blog group mainly because I get to see creations from new designers before most people know their names, and so I feel a bit like I get to introduce them to everyone! Which, is a tad bit self centered, since there are plethora of amazing bloggers who are part of the group who showcase these Creators as well. If you don't know anything about We Love To Blog, then make sure to click >HERE< and check it out!
I had never heard of I'piteme until recently when I started receiving boxes to blog, and I have to say I am truly impressed by the textures and wonderful attention to detail that goes along with every piece. I have not taken off this jeans and tank combo in more days than I care to admit, but they are perfect for ME, and the ensemble has made it's way into my daily wear folder, which means if I saw it at an event, even though I had never heard of the designer, I would be buying it for myself! The Whiskey Girl Tank and Jeans come in a wide variety of colors, and you can choose to have "Whiskey Girl" written across the chest or not, which when paired with the jeans, they are a must have addition to your closet, so head on over to the store and see for yourself all the fantastic creations of I'piteme!
This weekend goes up on the list of one of our slowest, most relaxing, and randomly romantic couple of days on record, but to be honest, I wouldn't change a moment, well, maybe just one. Last night the boys headed to bed a bit early after we watched a movie and my man and I had some time together to just sit and talk about the weekend, and enjoy our time together. During the movie we had a guest outside, that one of the dogs alerted us to, so we secured the top on the garbage can and went back to our movie, not really giving the incident much thought. As we were wrapping up the night, and thinking about heading to bed, of course we let the big dog(since the little one had already been out) out in the yard by herself, and she immediately ran to the shed she chases rabbits around daily. The scurrying sound we heard from across the yard through the barn made us look at each other with eyes wide, since it sounded almost as big as the dog, and suddenly our early, relaxing night together was ruined by a green cloud floating over the dog as she came running at us foaming at the mouth and in the distance the beautiful, black and white tail of a skunk could be seen disappearing into the night, quite pleased with itself, I'm sure. One of the teenagers managed to sleep through the entire ordeal while the other one ended up half in the tub with the vinegar, Dawn dish soap and one very upset canine. As usual, when afraid, she came straight to Mommy, which means, I ended up covered almost as much as she did, and I think my boyfriend considered having us both sleep out in the shed. Lucky for me I have been through this once before, and the above combination works, along with a vigorous rub down with baking soda after the bath. But don't expect them to be on the furniture any time soon, or even in the house, because that is definitely a smell that keeps on giving long after the event!
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your day and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's trends in fashion and home decor work for you!
This entire Summer the family had plans to take a long weekend camping trip so we could just relax and bond a little instead of running all the time with the move and combining of house holds; but for all kinds of reasons that long weekend away hasn't happened, YET! I have plans to kidnap my man and disappear out into the woods for a few days before the end of Summer for a true romantic, bohemian getaway next to a stream or lake, complete with a tiny tent built for two, tons of comfy pillows, a hammock, NO kids, and preferably very few clothes!
When I unpacked this new ensemble from NoName currently at The Thrift Shop, I went on a hunt on for the perfect location and stumbled upon this fantastic bohemian campground! I jumped into the hammock/swing and ended up taking a nap listening to the ambient sounds. I have to admit this outfit is very comfortable for me, and fits my personal style perfectly, just like the current round of FaMESHed which is where you can find the gorgeous and intricately detailed Dakota jewelry collection for Cae as well as this fun, tousled hair from Damselfly, that I don't plan on taking off any time in the near future on SL, at least when I'm not working! The top and shorts from NoName are wonderfully detailed, and the Maitreya size fits perfectly with no breaking or stretching, which is good with how short these shorts are! As always you will be amazed at the color change HUD that comes with a purchase from NoName, so do yourself a favor and head by The Thrift Shop, or the main store today and pick up Merula for yourself, you won't be disappointed, neither will be anyone checking you out from every angle!
As my son approaches that golden hour of adult hood where he will head out on his own, I find myself repeating the same things over and over again. We seem to be in a constant conversation about finding himself and making his way outside of the "popular" crowd to a place where being different is okay and actually encouraged. I have heard my generation are now called Helicopter parents and I now understand what that means. Those of us born in the 70's who came of age in the 80's seem to hover around our children because as kids most homes had both parents working, which led to a lot of unsupervised hours with us latchkey kids. We did it all and saw it all and know exactly what our children can get up to in those times when an adult isn't looking, so of course we tend to hover and circle. Which means I am quite involved in almost all areas of his life, including some he would rather I have nothing to do with, but nonetheless no topic seems to be unreachable for us. Though at times I have to bite my tongue, the fact my 17 year old talks to me is an accomplishment. I never had the kind of relationship he and I have with my own parents until I was well into my 20's and I regret all those wasted years. People have always said you can't be friends with your kids, and in some ways that is true, and in others it is not. If you can maintain the level of respect due to a parent and still function as more of a friend then you can have the best of both worlds with your kids, at least that is what I believe strongly. Which means you get to encourage them in ways you can't as just a parent and it opens up amazing lines of communication, so you get to have pretty amazing moments as your child discovers themselves. I was always living a little bit left of center, and though "popular" by most high school standards, I didn't run with the "IN" crowd. I was always a bit different in my style, my thoughts, and opinions and tended to be drawn to those on the outside looking in, with me. Being strong enough to wade through those waters of bullies and teasing; snobs and jocks; alternatives, stoners, punks and have friends in all groups has a lot to do with who I have become and I pride myself on being a surprise to people, because who I am is never quite what people expect upon first glance. I truly believe that those who live on the fringe, those some would call imperfect, are the ones with true beauty and who live their lives authentically. Though the words have been a bit twisted over the years, Jacob Nordby's original phrasing rings clear like a bell in the night whose melody ripples through time like those on a still lake after a stone is tossed.
Beatitudes for the Weird
– Jacob Nordby –
Blessed are the weird people
—poets, misfits, writers, mystics
heretics, painters & troubadours—
for they teach us to see the world through different eyes.
Blessed are those who embrace the intensity of life’s pain and pleasure,
for they shall be rewarded with uncommon ecstasy.
Blessed are ye who see beauty in ugliness,
for you shall transform our vision of how the world might be.
Blessed are the bold and whimsical,
for their imagination shatters ancient boundaries of fear for us all.
Blessed are ye who are mocked for unbridled expression of love in all its forms,
because your kind of crazy is exactly that freedom for which the world is unconsciously begging.
Blessed are those who have endured breaking by life,
for they are the resplendent cracks through which the light shines.
Do yourself a favor if you have always run with the "IT" crowd and take some time on the outskirts, on the fringe for a bit, and come hang where the wild things are.....
Not quite sure what has me reminiscing today, but I have been thinking about the years I spent traveling back and forth between Phoenix and Huntington Beach, California back in the mid-90's. I met a lot of interesting people and had a lot of fun, though there was a lot of pain in my life. After all these years I can look back fondly, instead of seeing only the painful things, and it's a lot like looking at old photographs; the memory remains but the raw emotions have now faded leaving only a dusty imprint on my soul. For some people, this never seems to happen, and I wish there was a magic switch to flip to reveal to them the lessons they learned instead of them becoming a slave to the pain of the past. But I guess that is part of what makes us all so very different from each other, and I wouldn't change that for the world. Since I seem to communicate better through music than I do verbally, at time, I recently shared a song with my son that touched on this exact topic and decided to use it today for my post so I could share this sentiment with all of you. Every moment of your life, no matter how hard it may be, is just a passing moment. When things seem a bit too rough, and you have lost even a pinpoint of light at the end of the tunnel, remind yourself that this too shall pass, and that sun will rise again tomorrow bringing with it a whole new light and new perspective. These days will go by just like those magical moments you wished would never end, but the photographs in your mind will always take you back, if you want to look.
If you read my earlier post today then you know I have fallen in love with this adorable new dress from POSH Pixels, currently available at Swank, unless they have closed up shop for the month, then check the main store, I have provided both links below. The Hair Fair 2016 is in full swing which means you just have to head on over as soon as you can to pick up some fantastic new creations as well as donate to a good cause since a percentage of every sale goes to benefit Wigs for Kids. I fell in love with this hair from ICONIC as soon as I set my eyes on it and well I haven't taken it off unless having to do a post! It lies wonderfully over the breasts and along the back without breaking, which is always a plus in my book. So head on over NOW, you won't be disappointed!
I am so excited to announce that unKindness is in this round of Shiny Shabby with fabulous new pillows and benches all in the classic boho styling which is the main influence for this round of the event! The benches come in 3 different color combinations and the pillows come in Boho and Shabby, which I think work perfectly together in my little retreat at home. The textures and color combinations are to die for and the more pillows the better, in my opinion, so hurry on over and grab yours today! Peeking down from the ceiling is something I picked up at The Epiphany that I adore! Foxes gacha has all kinds of goodies for your home as well as a Rare cottage in Dark as well as the special exclusive being the cottage in Light, with every piece in the gacha available in light and dark so you can furnish each one! I have to be honest and admit that I am truly feeling out of my element being so incredibly busy and I have fallen behind in my dedication to keeping RL and SL life balanced. I use my blogging as a sort of stress reliever in many ways, and the past week has seen me so busy that I haven't been able to post much which has left me feeling a bit out of sorts. So many wonderful things have come my way since my return from neck surgery and I haven't been able to honor my new sponsors in the ways I have wanted due to being so busy with the move and having to commute into the old house to work, because we still don't have internet at the other house, and the latest estimate is next Spring. So my posts are scattered, my thoughts are jumbled and I hope you all just bare with me during this incredible time of change.
I find it strange that the world is in as much turmoil as my personal life is right now; it seems to be the current state of affairs for most people I know right now, but like all things, this too shall pass. When I opened my latest box from Lone Wolf Studio an old song started playing through my head which helped me find a direction for this post today! The Medieval Fantasy Fair 6 continues for a little less than a week which means you don't have much time to head on over to the event and grab the newest, fantasy eyes from Lone Wolf. I am wearing the RARE, called Princess and I love the swirl effect as it reflects the current state of confusion in my head and in the world. I also want to encourage everyone to head on over to the Hair Fair2016, where each purchase goes to fund Wigs for Kids, an absolutely AMAZING organization that is well worth your Linden, and we could all use new hair, in my opinion! To grab a map and to get all the information check the website >HERE<, I promise you won't be disappointed and make sure to grab the gifts most designers have up in their stalls.
It has been a long time since I have gotten to blog anything from Glint, so I was excited to see a blogger box in We Love to Blog. The Gold Opal and Pearls collection is a brand new release in store with each piece created with an incredible attention to detail with fabulous textures, and can also be purchased in Silver; so pick your favorite or grab both! Stay tuned for my next post where you will get to see this entire dress from POSH Pixels, which I have absolutely fallen in love with, and I am sure you will too!
For many years now I have firmly believed that love is an ever elusive creature, hard to catch and even harder to keep. Once upon a time I had my fairy tale wedding with lofty dreams of a beautiful forever that was crushed by the darkness of abuse. Though I have been in a couple of relationships since, I never got married again and in some ways I don't think I ever will, in the traditional sense of the word. I hate the fact that the government tells me I have to have a piece of paper to declare my love for someone, and that others are denied the same right. Love is something to be celebrated, not hidden; to stand in front of your friends, family and what ever higher power you embrace is the purest and truest way to show your love. No piece of paper can ever take the place of a true celebration of love, no matter what the government tells people.
Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you know about the recent attacks in Florida and other places in the country at LGBT events, which in reality have been attacks on love. I sit in front of my computer and read the stories and events and I am horrified that in this advanced society we live in, that people are still persecuted simply for the fact they love someone of the same sex. In my opinion, we have much bigger problems in this country to be worried about than love. Because in the end that is what all this boils down to, the fact that love is love, no matter what form it comes in. If you are lucky enough in this lifetime to find love, as long as it isn't with children or animals ( I do draw SOME lines people!), then celebrate it and enjoy the precious gift you have been given. The Pulse Charity Event runs through the 12th of the month and all proceeds go to Equality Florida to support the victims and families of the Orlando shooting. Hurry on over to the event today, you won't be disappointed and you will get a chance to feel good about spending a few Linden as well!
It's getting late and the moon is rising high in the sky, time is flying away from us as we travel down this winding, wild road together. As I stare into your eyes I am reminded of a song and I can't stop thinking of how it applies tonight. Just you and I, runnin' out of moonlight!
Runnin' Outta Moonlight
Randy Houser
Don't you worry 'bout gettin' fixed up
When you wake up, you're pretty enough
Look out your window at the cloud of dust
That's my headlights, that's my truck
Come on baby, don't you keep me waitin'
I gotta go, I've got a reservation
Tailgate for two underneath the stars
Kiss on your lips when you're in my arms
Whoa
Girl, every now and then you get a night like this
Whoa
This is one that we don't wanna miss, no
Come on baby let me take you on a night ride
Windows down, sittin' on my side
Tick tock now we're knocking on midnight
Me and you girl runnin' outta moonlight
I wanna hold you till the break of dawn
Hear the crickets sing a riverside love song
Hey baby, all we got is all night
Come on now we're runnin' outta moonlight

Sometimes when I put together an ensemble with a certain theme in mind, stories start to play themselves out in my head and quite often it is very difficult for me to choose which way I want to go. Today as I put together a scene and then an ensemble for some reason "Blade Runner" was playing through my head and I had a different take on an android in the future. What if in the future we have come so far that the only way to tell an artificial intelligence from a naturally born human is through their eyes. With contacts, you would never know, as you pass by the nameless and countless faces on the street which people were "real" or not. What if it was only in the dark of the night when the contacts were removed could you truly tell who you were with? Could you trust anyone? Could you trust yourself? Would you trust her?
I am giving you an early preview of the next gorgeous fantasy eye release from Lone Wolf Studio that will only be available via gacha at The Lucky Shamrock Gacha Fair that starts March 1st! There are several eyes to choose from including the stunning Emerald set pictured here. So mark your calendar, you won't want to miss these new releases! The wonderful owner and creator has truly out done herself with her new designs so do yourself a favor and stay tuned here and on her blog for all the latest information!
I have always been fascinated by the story of Salome and her dance of the Seven Veils; of how some say Christianity grew quickly in some areas because of the overly righteous and pure men of power who couldn't handle the brazen sexuality displayed in the dance of their culture and how the mystical allure of a dance celebrating women's power became known as the dance of the Jezebel, the "whore". I love that in the past decade belly-dancing has once again been noticed by people all over the world as an art from requiring intense dedication and creativity. To dance the dance of Salome and Jezebel is to bring forth the inner power of the divine feminine; to celebrate what it truly means to be a woman through a wonderfully emotional and evocative dance.
"The Gypsy Dancer appears to be free from the societal constraints. The Gypsy as the Wild Woman archetype has magical powers, powers which make her dangerous. She is out-of-control, or at least beyond the control of the patriarchy. She evokes fear, especially in the subconscious where the Wild Woman lurks within us all. We are afraid to let her out because we may loose control." - Laurel Victoria Gray
"Do you know what happens when an Arabian woman dances? She does not dance: she protests, she loves, she cries, she makes love, she dreams, she goes away from her reality, to her own world, where love is really meant and she does not want to come back, because that is her reality." - Armand Nassery, writer and filmmaker
With the holidays fading into the background as the new year starts I can feel the weight of the last year lifting as hope grows for the future. Some stressors always follow us into the new year and this one is no exception. I have always found my peace either in the mountains or on the shore of the nearest ocean which is probably why I make the mountains of Arizona my home. If the ocean's call is too strong then I can simply jump in my car and be wiggling my toes in the sands of Mexico or California, depending on which way I headed, in just a few hours. The bitter cold and foot of snow has me longing to stick my toes in the sand of a sun warmed beach with my eyes closed, simply breathing with the waves. So when I unpacked my goodies from EvelineIntheBox for Alchemy I was excited that I could get to,at least virtually, spend some time at the beach at Baja Cove. Dressed for a perfect vacation in the Sun on some distant shore I let my imagination wander and for a little while I forgot about all the snow outside and the chill in my bones.
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your night, or day if on the other side of the world from me, and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashion trends work for you!
With the tragedies of yesterday around the world I had a bit of a heavy heart last night as I put together this ensemble and I was surprised at how empty the grid was for a Saturday night. Which of course worked well in my favor as I got to wander around to take pics at Templemore! I absolutely love this sim, always have, and from time to time I get to wander around and discover new secret spots to snap a great photo. As I said, my heart was a bit heavy with personal things and with the state of the world the last couple of days so I let the memories in for a little while.
Don't You Remember
Adele
When will I see you again?
You left with no goodbye,
Not a single word was said,
No final kiss to seal any sins,
I had no idea of the state we were in,
I know I have a fickle heart and a bitterness,
And a wandering eye, and heaviness in my head,
But don't you remember?
Don't you remember?
The reason you loved me before,
Baby, please remember me once more,
When was the last time you thought of me?
Or have you completely erased me from your memory?
I often think about where I went wrong,
The more I do, the less I know.
If you have been looking for the perfect little black dress for the upcoming Holiday season or for a special Friday or Saturday night then head on over to this months FAD event and pick up this dress up from AnaMarkova Designs. The Yuri dress is available in more than just black but I have to say everyone could replace your current date night dress! The dress comes in standard sizes and those made for most Mesh bodies, so you are sure to find a perfect fit! The mesh on this dress is as amazing from the back as it is from the front with an elegantly criss-cross back, and required very little shape alteration. Reason I say shape changes is because alphas obviously could be a bit tricky with this dress and with just a few adjustments it fit wonderfully even as I moved around the grid. You have a little over a week until the FAD event ends so make sure to work in some shopping time before the crazy Thanksgiving Week, if you are here in the U.S., if not then what are you waiting for?! Hurry on over!!
