The last couple of days have had me cursing the internet and twiddling my thumbs with constant little blue spinny circles on my screen, meaning I didn't quite get done what I needed to yesterday since it literally took me 6 hours to take a photo!  I did manage to finish the art work and get all my links together before time ran out and I had to scamper off for the night with the family, which meant I got to talk to my significant other about the song I happened to want to use for my post, which has absolutely nothing to do with us.  I love the song, and it fits quite well with my newest ensemble brought to you from Zanze, currently exclusively available at the 4th Annual Rock Your Rack event.  So grab your favorite vice, sit back and have a read, a listen and get inspired to do some shopping for charity.

Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women. 1 in 8 women, and an every increasing percentage of men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.

Models Giving Back is pleased to present Rock Your Rack, an annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.

This year's 4th annual event will support the National Breast Cancer Foundation providing mammograms, education, support and early detection services to anyone in need.

The 2016 Event is all together on one sim and involves 63 designers including 9 Gold sponsors:  AlaFolie, Athena Couture, Dulce Secrets, Emerald Couture, Empyrean Forge, LaVian & Co, phedora, Prism and Kultivate Magazine.  Along with these designers,  14 DJ's, 11 Live Musicians, 22 2D/3D artists, and 22 models will participate in the two week long event.

Events during the fundraiser include 9 fashion shows, 11 live musical concerts,  12 DJ dance parties, a 10L Hunt,  Two Silent Auction areas, an Art Exhibit organized by Kultivate magazine, Art Auction and 7Seas Fishing Tournaments.  Designers will be providing exclusive creations with 100% of the sales of those items going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation along with a fine selection of the newest and most popular designs donating a percentage as well.

About the National Breast Cancer Foundation

The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34.  At the time of her diagnosis, there was little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options.  After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.  NBCF’s mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need.  This mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services.

Spring Chic

Sneak Peek opened for it's newest round on the 25th and if you haven't swung by you are truly missing out on the most fashion forward designs from some of the grids hottest creators.  Zanze has released the "Augustine" collection exclusively at the event which includes the dress and coat in a variety of colors to mix and match.

As usual the attention to detail is stunning as are the coordinating color combinations.  I love the ease of access with Zanze's delivery syste.  The HUD is where you grab your size, and then select your colors.  It is brilliant and honestly takes up a lot less space in the inventory, which is always a plus!  I love the cut of this dress and the perfectly over sized coat allowing you to still see the alluring dip of the waist and silhouette of the body.  Neither the jacket or the dress had an issue when posing or walking, making this an excellent ensemble for those of us always on the move on the grid.

I spotted this hair in an ad on Facebook the other day from Tameless and have been dying to have an ensemble to show you all that would make me HAVE to go grab it from the store.  And the "Augustine" coat and dress were a PERFECT excuse!  I love the delicate, almost classic swoop of this hair paired with the edgy shaved side.  For those of you who love the nod to the more vintage looks, but love the spice of today, then the "Wren" hair will be an excellent addition to your hair collection.  Do yourself a favor and head on over to Sneak Peek to see all the offerings, it will be well worth the trip!!

Fairytale Romance

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope everyone's week is starting off smoothly, well as far as Mondays go.  We only have a few more days until Valentine's and this week will be dedicated to bringing you gorgeous ensembles that reflect the romantic mood of the week.  Zanze's newest creation, "Mirasol" is absolutely stunning and if you have a special night planned it is the perfect gown!

The mesh on this elegant, long sheath dress is wonderfully textured and comes in a variety of colors via the HUD.  The neckline is just high enough to not have to wear a necklace, which would really overwhelm this dress in all reality.  I chose the purple in the dress to accentuate this amazing new skin from Poudre, available exclusively at The Hipster Fair through the 15th for only $499L!  A smoking deal, so hurry on over!  The "Rachel" hair from CATWA was a perfect addition to this ensemble as the flowing waves just graze the exposed collar bone to gently flow down the back adding to the fairytale feel of this ensemble.

On the Runway

February is often a month where sexy, sparkling cocktail dresses get to come out of the closet and there is no better way to do that than in the newest creation from Zanze!  The Myra Suit Vest is a wonderful double breasted, tuxedo fitted short cocktail dress available in several colors with matching and coordinating sequins along the entire dress.  I absolutely love this dress mesh, as it doesn't break or cut into the thighs and the lines around the cleavage area on the alpha are very well done,  keeping the dress revealing and sexy without showing off too much.  After all, it should be about class, not trash no matter the situation! 

This dress called for a shopping trip out to get new jewels to match so I headed on out to my favorite spots taking pictures, and thinking etc. when I landed in Lazuri, and my search was over!  As you enter the store, at their new location on the Purple Moon sim, to the right is a magnificent set of jewelry for a fantastic cause!  The En Tournant Collection was an exclusive release for Creations for Parkinsons and is now in the store where each piece is $99L and all proceeds go to CFP.  The pieces can be worn with the large pendant, or without and you can change the metals and the stones upon touch.  The choices are on the dark, brown and amber side, making them a perfect accent for this dress.  Since I was feeling so glamorous, I headed on over to Image Essentials with my group tag on, and had a photo shoot on the runway.  Make your way on over to the store and grab yours today so you too can feel like you just stepped off the runway in Paris.
