Spring Chic

Sneak Peek opened for it's newest round on the 25th and if you haven't swung by you are truly missing out on the most fashion forward designs from some of the grids hottest creators.  Zanze has released the "Augustine" collection exclusively at the event which includes the dress and coat in a variety of colors to mix and match.

As usual the attention to detail is stunning as are the coordinating color combinations.  I love the ease of access with Zanze's delivery syste.  The HUD is where you grab your size, and then select your colors.  It is brilliant and honestly takes up a lot less space in the inventory, which is always a plus!  I love the cut of this dress and the perfectly over sized coat allowing you to still see the alluring dip of the waist and silhouette of the body.  Neither the jacket or the dress had an issue when posing or walking, making this an excellent ensemble for those of us always on the move on the grid.

I spotted this hair in an ad on Facebook the other day from Tameless and have been dying to have an ensemble to show you all that would make me HAVE to go grab it from the store.  And the "Augustine" coat and dress were a PERFECT excuse!  I love the delicate, almost classic swoop of this hair paired with the edgy shaved side.  For those of you who love the nod to the more vintage looks, but love the spice of today, then the "Wren" hair will be an excellent addition to your hair collection.  Do yourself a favor and head on over to Sneak Peek to see all the offerings, it will be well worth the trip!!

Looking for My Caesar

I hope you are all having a good day, I know mine has been relaxing so far and I hope it stays that way.  In case you haven't been paying attention, Tameless, is making a lot more than just hairs lately.  From full avatars, to hair to wonderful outfits and accessories, Tameless has become a one-stop shop of sorts.  When I unpacked my most recent boxes I was blown away by the quality and styling of the "Goddess" dress, so I just had to share it with you all today!

The Goddess dress is a wonderful mesh that flows nicely around the avatar and doesn't break or stretch when you are walking or posing.  A lot of dresses in this style do a much smaller sash around the middle and often times I think the detail is lost, which is not the case with Tameless.  The banding along the bust-line and just under adds a sophisticated touch to this dress.  I love the cuff as well, as it matches the gold banding on the dress perfectly and is just another wonderful detail that is so often overlooked.  The final piece of this ensemble are the AMAZING sandals, also from Tameless!

They come in the standard sizes and are for Slink High feet, so make sure you already own them!  The sandals fit perfectly and absolutely finish this ensemble off perfectly!  I wanted to show the neckline, so tossed on an old hair from Lamb and my favorite accessory from Maxi Gossamer and I was ready to go looking for my Caesar.  I did not find him last night however, so if you find my Caesar, please send him my direction!

Headlights in the Driveway

 
Pacing the house, stopping for a moment to warm myself at the fire; as I wait for the crunch of your tires on the gravel driveway, knowing I could still hear that sound with the soft snow that covered the ground.  Pouring a glass of wine, trying to keep myself occupied as my thoughts start to drift as worry over takes me.  Those black, glassy roads now lightly covered with snow making them even more treacherous tonight.  Dialing your number again, only to have it go straight to voice mail.  Staring into the fire and grumbling, "WHY did we have to move out here to the middle of no where?!"  Lost in that thought a noise draws me from my well of worry as my eyes rise from the floor to the door where your headlights now shine through the dark.  Funny how the smallest things can make your day.
