I know there are a million bazillion songs that have been written that I could search through when I am on a particular topic; and I know some bloggers obsess on never repeating tunes, but sometimes I just can't help myself. Personally I have decided that if it can go on replay for an hour or so, then it can get another play on the blog. When I took this photo today I was hoping I could find a windlight that would help me capture the mood I was in, and when clicking through the hundreds I have recently downloaded, this appeared, I didn't adjust it, or tweek it all, because it was PERFECT, and so were Owl City's Fireflies flitting around in my mind.

In case you missed my post earlier this month featuring the newest releases from Virtual Diva for Swank, I wanted to make sure you saw this absolutely fabulous new, original headpiece design for the Reborn dress, and the gorgeous flowing curls of the Dream hair. "Maybe sometimes we feel afraid, but it's alright The more you stay the same, the more they seem to change. Don't you think it's strange?"

For the past couple of weeks it feels like I have had very little time to recharge my batteries with all the running around for the boys and I for doctors and insurance, and trying to coordinate the work on our home, which is STILL in complete disarray. The four of us have been sharing a bathroom now since the beginning of June and we are all starting to get a bit tired of each other with all the waiting and bathroom schedule that should probably be hung on the fridge. When I have had any time at all, I have disappeared into blog posts and music as a bit of a "calgon" escape, but in all honesty it's just not enough. I am sure the boyfriend feels the same as all he has done is work from sun up til sun down recently with everything we have going on, and I know our minds keep returning to our vacation in June and wishing we could once again runaway for a few days. When everything gets hectic and you don't even seem to have time to do the simplest things, you sometimes just have to MAKE the time to relax and unwind, because if you don't, the stress can become overwhelming. So today I have had Corinne Bailey Ray playing through the speakers a bit loudly and I can feel the weight of my world finally starting to lift from my shoulders. I have to be honest when I say that I had not originally intended to blog this ensemble since it immediately went into the "Jadey Daily" folder as it perfectly fits the mood I was attempting to put myself into, but I just couldn't resist since it consists of brand new goodies from some of the top up and coming designers on the grid, as well as some of your favorite go to creators. Dance Right HERE! Featuring Virtual Diva @ Swank!

I had an idea for the name of this post as I was doing it, and then well, you know how I am with music, and a song playing on Spotify ended up on repeat and I decided to share! My feet were dancing under the computer chair and I was bouncing along to the tune and though the song is about a pair of shoes that start the dancing, I decided that this dress from Virtual Diva made me feel the same way and I just wanted to start dancing around on the platform. I am glad no one logged in to see me up there being a nut but it was a much needed stress break! I think in the hustle and bustle of things in life we often forget to take some time and just blow off some steam. Whether it's a bit of heavy metal or simply bursting out in dance, as we get older we stop taking the time to do these things and it seriously stresses us out! Think about the days when you used to just take off and drive with no particular destination in mind, just to clear your head? The stereo up so loud to drown out the noise of the stress in your own head? Or dancing around the kitchen to the latest pop song on the kids radio, using the spatula as a microphone, hoping the kids don't come around the corner and catch you? We all need these moments in life, and today I am in NEED! So come along with me and just get up and dance where ever you are!

Some journeys lead you down roads never expected - Petit Chat & Del Alba Creations

On the 9th of June my man and I took off for ten days to Washington to attend his daughter's graduation from college. Neither of us had ever been to that part of the country, so we were more than excited to start our journey, but where it led neither of us ever expected. For those of you who have been following me for a while now, you know I suffer from a lovely cocktail of autoimmune issues including Lupus, which has kept me home for over a decade now with pain, muscle and other body issues. When we landed in Seattle I didn't think much about the fact that I wasn't in much pain, but when I woke the next morning after sleeping on a crappy mattress and I didn't hurt, I started to think maybe my adrenaline was going or that my brain had just turned on the endorphins knowing I still had a car ride left to go before we were finally at our destination. By day two of not really hurting, just a few aches and muscles that needed stretched and miles of walking in the beautiful Washington air along the coastline, we were convinced the altitude of Flagstaff was truly effecting me negatively. My heart didn't act up the entire time we were away, my blood pressure wasn't high, I didn't need my pain pills and my man and I got to do things together, instead of me staying put while he ventured off hiking. After returning home I ended up terribly sick for two weeks and my heart is once again acting up and the pain is back, so our eyes have turned to moving to Washington, which was the furthest thing from our minds when we set out on this journey, and now all roads are leading that direction and to new opportunities.

With new opportunities and new journeys on my mind I logged on yesterday to finally get back to blogging and found the perfect combination in the boxes from Petit Chat and Del Alba Creations. Have you ever had a friend misunderstand you so badly that it pretty much ends a friendship? While the strings that have held you together for years start to fall away, you sit, still stunned, because you never had any intention of hurting their feelings? I may be a weaver of words, but when things become emotional I become mute, especially when I have upset someone unintentionally. After a couple of months I have come to realize that not everyone, even those you thought were closest to you, will understand you all the time. We all get caught up in our own worlds and have a tendency to not step outside the box and do "others" thinking, as I call it. You have to identify the situation someone is in before you judge, and see it from the point of view of the person you have an issue with, but this rarely happens, and it's sad when assumptions become the rule not the exception. When all has been said and done and you are at peace with your side of things, all you can do is wait and see what the future holds and hope for the best because friendships are worth saving, not losing over a misunderstanding.

Chess like kings and queens above all - Virtual Diva

I am feeling a bit feisty today, and I am not quite sure why, other than the weather has once again turned towards Spring and I am looking quite forward to it's rather late arrival. The garden has been planted for a bit now with the more resilient plants and next week all the baby plants in the kitchen window get to find their way into the soil, but not before the fence is finished so the rabbits can stop running off with my baby Rhubarb and Swiss Chard! And of course as the temperatures rise we have a tendency to shed layers and start revealing more skin, and if you are looking for an ensemble that goes from the runway to the beach then look no further than this amazing ensemble from Virtual Diva, currently at Swank!

The Delirium ensemble comes with the headpiece add-on and the hip flowers as well as the daring swimsuit that reveals just enough, but not very much! I loved the fit on this suit especially as I walked and posed and it didn't break or stretch the wrong way, but be careful when posing the hip pieces might need to be moved. The textures are wonderfully done on the roses and I love the edgy, Summer runway feel of this ensemble, and I am hoping you all do too, because this seriously needs to make its way into your closet!

Lately I have fallen in love with Nanika tattoos, and this has to be my favorite! I picked it up a couple months ago but make sure to check out current events for other amazing pieces, I know I will be grabbing them as soon as my wallet can afford it! Trust me, you won't be disappointed when you see all the fabulous designs.

Quiet Eyes - Petit Chat, Tableau Vivant, Amara Beauty, Studio Exposure

I hope all the Mom's out there had a wonderful day yesterday and that everyone had a great weekend. I had an absolutely fantastic weekend with my family and my best friend spent in the outdoors doing work on the garden and the yard in general. For the last year I have talked about wanting to put trees on our land, but it never seemed to be the right time. Saturday I was surprised when we took off to the local Home Depot and I got to pick out two trees! I have always wanted to live some where I could have a garden and fruit trees, a place where we could be self sufficient and sustainable, and now I can see this dream coming to fruition, though I had to wait until 45 to get it! As the sun set last night on a very long, but prosperous weekend I looked out over the fruits of our labors with quiet eyes, and I was thankful for my life.

Thankfully SL decided to let me log on long enough to get you all the information for my post today, which means I got all excited and immediately switched windows excited to blog and suddenly found myself faced with another round of writer's block. It is starting to get a bit frustrating, especially when I don't get to blog that much anymore! So while I was waiting I happened to stumble into a discussion with my best friend about the word "crazy", and how it can often spur people to act a bit nuts just to spite those who think they have gone off their rocker! Hearts on fire

It happens to be one of those days where I can't seem to find my words since my mind is in such a jumble. For the last couple of months the schools in Flagstaff, one in particular, have been the target of what I would call school terrorism. Notes have been found talking of school shootings etc, with dates and targets, and it has everyone on edge. For the second day in a row, my son's girl friends school has gone into shutdown under threats and more notes found and I find my brain isn't on work as much as it is on the safety of not only my own children but all of those effected by these circumstances. We all have drawn a bit closer in the last few days and I am in contact more frequently with my man, basically pulling my family close to me like the mother hen I am. So excuse me for not having much to say the past few days, my mind is occupied with all kinds of things right now, which means anything I write turns into a jumbled mess. Say you won't let go - Featuring Marquesse, Powder Pack, SlackGirl, Pink Fuel, Izzie's

Lately I have been starting to walk/hike again and it seems that everyday I want to be outside more and more, making my journeys longer, which has me feeling better than I have in months. Whether a short walk after dinner, or a few miles in the morning or a weekend adventure, I have been enjoying Spring as it starts to blanket the mountains of Arizona. While the mountains are still crowned in snow, down below the trees are in bloom and wild flowers are starting to peek their heads above the soil, and it is a perfect time to be out and about. The desire for fluffy green grass and flowers has translated to a complete transformation of my land, including a completely empty home, since it seems I have no desire to be inside on SL as well as in my RL, but it does happen to give me a space to take photos, and that makes me quite happy! One of the things I love the most about makeup on Second Life is the fact that it can change your appearance by so much, that if you have a wide variety, you rarely need more than a couple skins. Today is a perfect example! I have been raving about the Powder Pack, LeLutka addition and this post will be no different. SlackGirl has three new releases for the pack and I am completely in LOVE with each one, including the Smokelady shadow I am wearing here. Each shadow and liner are expertly created with gorgeous colors and an exceptional attention to detail. They blend well and the colors are to die for, as are the Nude Glosses from Pink Fuel. Bourbon in your eyes - Featuring IT! and Powder Pack - LeLutka!

The past week has run away from me and I seriously don't know how. Life has a tendency to speed by while we are waiting for something to happen. As promised, once I managed to get online again, I opened my delivery from Powder Pack and just had to show off a few things!

I couldn't believe how many designers have gotten involved with Powder Pack, and I was delighted to see so many appliers, including lips, eye shadows, freckles, eyebrows, and entire skins! I went through every item before I settled on my look for today, featuring *YS&YS*, #adored, and Izzie's. The skin from *YS&YS* is available in different tones and the HUD is amazing, giving you lots of options, including the brows. The skin is very well done with perfect shading on the neck, under arms and groin area, with great attention paid to the detailing on the face. If you are looking for shiny shadows and lips, then you will love the releases from Izzie's for the LeLutka pack. They come in tons of different colors and tones, making them incredibly versatile. You can totally change the look of a skin with makeup, which is always a good thing, considering how much appliers can be. I have never tried other lashes on my LeLutka head, other than the ones that come with it, so I was excited when I saw lashes from #adored, giving me yet another new look! The lashes come in different designs and fit perfectly on the head, even after lots of adjustments on my Bento head, so do yourself a favor and head over to Powder Pack and pick up the LeLutka addition, or reserve the next Catwa pack, I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

The Aura Ear Cuffs have an amazing HUD where you can change the metals and gemstones, the same with the necklace, and they can also be resized via the HUD as well, just make sure to put on, and resize each piece individually because the HUD's have a tendency to interact with each other. I absolutely adore the beaded necklace, by the way, with the multitude of options to design the perfect piece for whatever ensemble you happen to be wearing, and I truly believe everyone needs pieces like this in all their jewelry boxes!

Not sure these boots were the right choice for a ride, but I am sure to get some attention! - Marquesse, Level Up!, Salacity

Today is one of the few days I have had time to be at the computer enough to do two blog posts, and of course that has nothing to do with it being the end of the month, and again I am behind. Beginning to think I need to drop a few sponsors as I continue to deal without having net at home and having to commute into town to blog. Which of course is the last thing I want to do, since I spent years getting to where I was happy with who I was blogging for etc., but it seems to be something I am going to have to do, since I feel like I am letting so many people down along the way.
