Lady of the light gone mad with the night - Featuring Virtual Diva

So if any one was paying attention to my post at the end of last week, then you know I was looking forward to a week of getting organized for work and of doing a bit of catch up on my blogging. Well as we all know, as soon as you make plans, life happens. I have been putting on a bit of a brave face of late as I have had to ween myself off of my nerve medication, per physician instruction, since I have developed a life threatening allergy to it. If there was one medication I would tell people I couldn't live without, it would have been that one, so I have been getting to know that pain again and it has thrown me for a loop and kept me from being able to come into town to my computer. It has been years now since I have had to feel the fire of nerve pain through my body, but I am finding a new strength in looking for alternative treatments and empowering myself and once again calling pain my constant companion, my muse, but never my friend.

The perfect Autumn ensemble - Featuring Ashmoot, and Desmonia

If you have ever spent any time in the mountains of Arizona in the Fall, then you know how amazingly beautiful it can be, and how temperamental the weather is as well. The skies are crystal blue, with gorgeous white, fluffy clouds and the temperatures rise into the 70's during the day, while the evenings are dotted with campfires and bonfires, the smell of smoke in the air, sweaters and temps that dive into the 30's. As you can guess, getting dressed in the morning for the rest of the day can be a bit tricky, and I have come to understand the true meaning of layering, and I find myself wishing I could get away with some of the Autumn fashions I see donning the cover of the latest fashion magazines. But thanks to Second Life, I get to do just that, and this new ensemble from Ashmoot looks like it just came out of the pages of the October issue of Vogue magazine!

From head to toe this entire outfit is incredibly well designed, textured, and the attention to detail is absolutely amazing! The oversized sweater goes perfectly over the flirty, skater styled skirt, the jewelry and glasses are expertly designed to add the perfect details, and check out this magnificent purse that comes in two styles with and without poses. I just had to take more than one photo so I could show off all the details, including the gorgeous new nails and lips from Alaskametro and the fantastic shoes and stockings, also from Ashmoot, that complete this ensemble.

All the items from Ashmoot are currently available at Designer Circle, which opened on the 15th and will run through the 28th, which means you have a little bit of time to head over and grab this ensemble for yourself. Making relationships last takes a lot of work on both parts. But it's that commitment to doing the work, I think, that is the foundation for a good relationship. Even when things get bad, and the stress levels are approaching overload; when you are struggling to like each other, the commitment to making it, together, is what makes you stronger, as a couple. "As free as birds catching the wind." Featuring Empyrean Forge, !!smesh and Desmonia

The last year and a half of my life has been like a topsy turvy whirlwind of strange ups and downs, weird health issues and LOVE. After being single for a very long time, and handling things on my own, no matter how hard, I have come to realize that it doesn't matter what life throws at you, it becomes easier when you have someone with which to share it. I had become a bit resigned to being single for the rest of my life and had no intention of getting into a relationship, but to be honest, it was the best decision I never made! My wonderful man and I were on the same page, and we were enjoying having someone to help make dinner for the boys and hanging out as friends when suddenly the universe jumped up with other plans for us. So it wasn't a decision for us, it just happened, and though there have been struggles we couldn't have even imagined, I know neither of us would change a thing. The love of the family we have created together and our commitment to each other, makes life just a little bit easier. All of this was to lead into the fact that I am not a Miley Cyrus fan, at least with what she puts out on the radio, until the recent release of "Malibu", and when I heard it through my speakers through Spotify, I was hooked. In one moment the last year and a half of my life was summed up in a song, and though my toes may not be wiggling in the sands of Malibu, the feeling is the same.

I haven't showcased the We Love to Blog group and it's multitude of designers in a post in a while, so when I unboxed these goodies I JUST had to put them together along with this gorgeous new release from Empyrean Forge! I absolutely love this new hair from Desmonia, a new release in the store. It has been a bit since I have picked up anything from !!smesh, I hate to admit, so when I saw a release in the We Love to Blog group I got all excited, and this dress does not disappoint. "Maybe sometimes we feel afraid, but it's alright The more you stay the same, the more they seem to change. Don't you think it's strange?"

For the past couple of weeks it feels like I have had very little time to recharge my batteries with all the running around for the boys and I for doctors and insurance, and trying to coordinate the work on our home, which is STILL in complete disarray. The four of us have been sharing a bathroom now since the beginning of June and we are all starting to get a bit tired of each other with all the waiting and bathroom schedule that should probably be hung on the fridge. When I have had any time at all, I have disappeared into blog posts and music as a bit of a "calgon" escape, but in all honesty it's just not enough. I am sure the boyfriend feels the same as all he has done is work from sun up til sun down recently with everything we have going on, and I know our minds keep returning to our vacation in June and wishing we could once again runaway for a few days. When everything gets hectic and you don't even seem to have time to do the simplest things, you sometimes just have to MAKE the time to relax and unwind, because if you don't, the stress can become overwhelming. So today I have had Corinne Bailey Ray playing through the speakers a bit loudly and I can feel the weight of my world finally starting to lift from my shoulders. I have to be honest when I say that I had not originally intended to blog this ensemble since it immediately went into the "Jadey Daily" folder as it perfectly fits the mood I was attempting to put myself into, but I just couldn't resist since it consists of brand new goodies from some of the top up and coming designers on the grid, as well as some of your favorite go to creators. Over the past couple of months I have been impressed with the releases from Desmonia and I was completely blown away with this new Boho ensemble for Glam Couture, which ends today.
