Spring Chic in Petit Chat and Ashmoot!

(This post was originally written on Monday, but due to a bit of an infection after oral surgery, I was unable to get it posted until today!)

I woke up this morning and while there was still sleep in my eyes I noticed a post from Powder Pack announcing the winners of their recent contest on Facebook.  I immediately went to share the post, happy for those who had won, when I thought I recognized a name, MINE!!  To say I was one very happy girl is the understatement of a lifetime.  For bloggers, all the new Bento changes mean we are having to fork out a lot of Lindens to keep ourselves current, and heads and skin appliers quickly eat through any budget you can put yourself on; so the introduction of the Powder Pack in general, has meant more of us can show you new goodies without having to break the bank.  I happen to not have a Catwa head, so I have been waiting with baited breath for the introduction of a LeLutka Powder Pack, so when I saw the announcement on Facebook about the April 1st release I quickly shared the link and my in-world name, without a thought I could possibly win the new LeLutka pack!  But today I went over to Powder Pack and reserved my pack with my $1500L balance, guaranteeing delivery April 1st, so make sure to check back in to see all the wonderful goodies packed into that box, which you know I will be showing off!

Either coffee or a beautiful monster, you pick!

For the past couple of days my energy level has been at an all time low and all I want to do is camp out in bed or on the sofa and watch movies all day.  Which, if you have been following along for a bit, you know that is just not possible in my life!  Luckily today was a late start for the boys, which means I got to sleep in for a little while, and didn't have to rush.  After dropping them off at 10 I decided to take a drive for a cup of coffee and along the way decided to do a bit of Pokémon hunting, yes I have fallen prey to the game.  I decided to try and see what my guys would do in a gym, and without the boys to help me celebrate, I won!  Now this may seem like no big deal to the majority of the world, especially to those who haven't succumbed to the little bastards yet, but I was all kinds of excited and just might have called my best friend to brag, who, by the way, thinks I am a total and complete nut.  With a bit of a spring in my step I grabbed a coffee and came home to get to work on blogging, organizing and SHOPPING, since I seem to have had no time to pick up anything for myself this month.  I picked up a few cute things, which I will be showing off either later today or tomorrow, but first I just had to share this amazing jewelry set from Virtual Diva with you all.

Maui Dreaming

Mad Little Heathen!

Beach Couture

As we have hit mid month, I wanted to make sure everyone had made it to this months round of FaMeshed and Collabor88 as there are some amazing finds!  Valentina E has managed to catch my attention since April with their offerings at FaMeshed, and this round is no exception!  I fell in love with this bikini in the photo, and without trying a demo I impulse bought with hopes it fit well.  I ran home and unpacked it and was pleasantly surprised to find I didn't have to adjust my shape, other than a little in the bum!  The alpha is remarkably done, because well, with mesh bikinis, no matter what you do, you always seem to show off the glaring, gaping hole beneath the bottoms.  Which, honestly drives me insane!  However, the cut of this swimsuit, and the alpha are perfect, unless you plan on sitting like a linebacker on the bench waiting to get called in to play.  The top, no matter what size gives ample room for those of us who tend towards larger breasts and yet still doesn't gap around the ribcage or back.  A beautiful piece over all and one that everyone should have in their favorite color, as we all need a little sophistication in our beach wear collections.

On to Collabor88 where I picked up these fantastic shoes by Zenith, and gorgeous stacked collar from Maxi Gossamer!  Again, Zenith has won my heart over with these shoes!  The Bohemian String Platforms come in a variety of colors for the straps, while the beads and wedge heels stay the same.  I chose the chocolate as I think they worked the best with this outfit.  For the price, you can pick up several colors to accent your summer wardrobe and be very happy!  I know I am.  The Vallari Collection offered from Maxi Gossamer is truly gorgeous, and I wish I had been able to afford all of it, but *le sigh* I had to pick my favorite piece, and it had to be the stunning stacked "vintage" metal collar.  It comes with a texture HUD so you have 5 options, making it a very versatile piece of jewelry.  And of course, a previous FaMeshed release from Maxi Gossamer adorn my hands, as the Bali Hand jewelry completed the look!  Make sure to stop by and find your perfect outfit at Collabor88 and FaMeshed!

Heathenesque @ Project Limited!

Ever have one of those moments where you doubt you will ever get into an event?  And then suddenly....BOOM the tele works and you make an audible squeal of delight?  Today, I had one of those moments!  After 3 hours of banging my head against an invisible barrier (literally), suddenly I double clicked and I was IN!  And, of course, in my invisible alpha avatar, I couldn't move.  So after 10 minutes, I floated off to the side and started panning around the sim in search of, let's call it my prey!  And in the forested venue of Heathenesque I found what I was looking for; the new Hoofies collection!

These fantastically detailed horns, and boots are exclusive to the event and will only be sold in a limited number.  Once they are gone, they will never be sold again!  The original mesh "hoof" boots are made for Slink high feet and are another wonderfully detailed creation from Jamie of Heathenesque!   The natural horns, another original mesh, fit perfectly and have adorable ribbons and beaded details.  The dress, not an exclusive, but a new item, looks like real leather and is a wonderful fit, so make sure to complete the outfit by picking up either the black or brown!  I had to add a couple of accessories I picked up at the event to tie it all together, the collar from Pekka, and rings from Faun.  Do yourself a favor and don't envy your friends for what they picked up at Project Limited and make sure you have grabbed your own!

Candied Angel

OH MY GACHA!!!!  Has opened in the last few days and I finally made my way in during one of my nights of insomnia lately and well, OH MY GACHA!  I might have gone a bit nuts, but so many adorable things!!  And, after getting my pick of rares from the machines I wanted, I was one very happy girl!  I quickly ran home and put together outfits featuring my favorite pieces, and the first thing I had to show were my Archangel NeonWings from 7mad;Ravens and the Rare Lover Girl outfit from 1Hundred.

7mad has blown me away with these wings that come in a flicker and non-flicker option, including an almost spooky, neon, sizzle sound when you have on the flicker version.  These are the Archangel, and they do have a resizer so you can adjust them to fit your shape!  All of the wings in the machine are an original mesh from 7mad and are truly a one of a kind find!  So make sure and stop by and grab a few pairs for yourself!

I think I might have played the 1Hundred machine three times before I squeed at the arrival of the Rare in Fuschia and Lilac, after all they are two of my favorite colors!  Just adorable and it comes with every applier you could possibly want!  I decided to just adjust my shape a bit and go with the standard version with no appliers.  I then had to run off to Cannibelle and grab these stockings, as the outfit doesn't come with them.  They stockings are an amazing deal by the way, $95L for black, nude, and white in sheer and not versions.   And last but not least, the perfect shoes!  Hucci's Jacmel pumps came in the perfect color, Radiant Orchid for this outfit, plus I love the style of this shoe.  It comes in pretty much every color you could ever need!  Finished off with piercings from Cute Poison, and The Candied Angel was complete!  Yes, this hair from Wasabi is anciet, but it was perfect for the outfit!

Last Days of the Thrift Shop!

The Thrift Shop will be open for three more days and I just had to tease your senses a bit more to get you to run on over and check it out!

 I fell in love with these bikinis from Osito featured in the gachas this round.  They come in a variety of colors, including the Rare Red pictured here.  The bikini fits well, and the delicate daisies are perfectly done!  Of course, what beach scene would be complete without 7mad;Ravens Day @ the Beach Sandy Full Body tattoo!  I love the detail and the real feel of sand to this tattoo.  It comes in appliers for Slink feet and hands, as well as the full body tattoo!

In Bloom @ The Arcade

The carousel music and the popcorn machines will soon stop at The Arcade, and if you haven't had a chance to wander through, hurry on down!  And whoever the brilliant genius is behind the "invisible" avatar HUD that was sent out prior to the start of the event, should be given a medal in my eyes!  I got to glide past everyone sitting there trying to load and stood right in front of the machines and never had to do the scan, pan and pray!  Ok enough about the event, everyone should have been at least once in their SL adventures!

Today, let us focus on the Kimono Gacha from Pixiecat!  I can honestly say, I have everyone of these BUT the rare, which of course, has caused me many sessions of grumbling and wanting to strangle the machine, however, everyone of these dresses is gorgeous!  The details on the belt and the kimono itself are very well done.  The hat, I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe this piece to you, it is truly stunning!  The fan matches perfectly and sits well in the hand without having to manipulate things very much.  Now, the alpha is a bit long on the thighs, but it didn't cause me any issues when taking pictures.  Whatever your favorite color is, I am sure you will manage to find exactly what you want in that pretty little machine!  EMO-tions has come on the seen lately with great hairs, and this one at The Arcade is no exception.  Love the color options and the style in general, as it feels less stiff that a lot of hairs I have had on lately.  Matched up with the Legacy Heels by Reign available at The Thrift Shop for a little while longer!  With this hat and fan, accessories are really not needed, and honestly take away from the kimono!
