My Breath of Life

I was looking for a breath of life;
A little touch of heavenly light
But all the choirs in my head sang "no"
To get a dream of life again
A little of vision of the start and the end
But all the choirs in my head sang "no".

But I needed one more touch
Another taste of heavenly rush
And I believe; I believe it so...
And I needed one more touch
Another taste of divine rush
And I believe, I believe it so...

Now we all know that typically, I am not a "Fantasy" blogger, however there are times that an outfit reaches out and grabs me; or I get a chance because of SL Blogger Support to attend Blogger Days for an event I might not normally go and check out.  A perfect example this week, is The Fantasy Collective.  On a typical week, unfortunately, it might get looked over, but with the preview that was given to SL Blogger Support members I got to take some time and stroll through the venue.  And what I found, blew me away, and created a post all on it's own, truth be told.  But then, who could resist this AMAZING ensemble from Wicca's Wardrobe.  The moment I laid eyes on this set, the location and entire blog post created itself in my head.  Enjoy!

My wonderful sponsor, Crow, continues to impress with her more gothic/fantasy themed skins, and what a perfect opportunity to show off one of my favorites.  The Sophia skin comes in several tones, all influenced by the moon.  Featured here is the Crescent Moon version, with one of the several makeups, and a lipstick from the multitude of choices!  If you haven't been over to the store yet, you really should wander on over.  New Group Gifts arrive quite often, and make sure to take a bite out of the Lucky Cupcake and see what you are awarded!

Wicca has outdone herself with this creation for The Fantasy Collective.  The pieces fit well together and the textures and colors are all complimentary.  I was also pleasantly surprised that I could turn the glow off this collar piece so it didn't shine in the pictures!  The collar has attachments and the whole thing was incredibly easy to fit, with very few alterations!  The head piece could be worn to enhance other looks, but is just a wonderful, whimsical detail that I love!  So whether this is something that would fit in with your Roleplay scenarios, or if you just want to have an excuse to feel absolutely GORGEOUS, head on over to The Fantasy Collective and pick up your "Lunatica" gown and accessories by Wicca's Wardrobe.

Candied Angel

OH MY GACHA!!!!  Has opened in the last few days and I finally made my way in during one of my nights of insomnia lately and well, OH MY GACHA!  I might have gone a bit nuts, but so many adorable things!!  And, after getting my pick of rares from the machines I wanted, I was one very happy girl!  I quickly ran home and put together outfits featuring my favorite pieces, and the first thing I had to show were my Archangel NeonWings from 7mad;Ravens and the Rare Lover Girl outfit from 1Hundred.

7mad has blown me away with these wings that come in a flicker and non-flicker option, including an almost spooky, neon, sizzle sound when you have on the flicker version.  These are the Archangel, and they do have a resizer so you can adjust them to fit your shape!  All of the wings in the machine are an original mesh from 7mad and are truly a one of a kind find!  So make sure and stop by and grab a few pairs for yourself!

I think I might have played the 1Hundred machine three times before I squeed at the arrival of the Rare in Fuschia and Lilac, after all they are two of my favorite colors!  Just adorable and it comes with every applier you could possibly want!  I decided to just adjust my shape a bit and go with the standard version with no appliers.  I then had to run off to Cannibelle and grab these stockings, as the outfit doesn't come with them.  They stockings are an amazing deal by the way, $95L for black, nude, and white in sheer and not versions.   And last but not least, the perfect shoes!  Hucci's Jacmel pumps came in the perfect color, Radiant Orchid for this outfit, plus I love the style of this shoe.  It comes in pretty much every color you could ever need!  Finished off with piercings from Cute Poison, and The Candied Angel was complete!  Yes, this hair from Wasabi is anciet, but it was perfect for the outfit!

Under a Neon Moon

I am a HUGE Dragonfly lover!  I love how their iridescent wings catch the light and reflect in a million different explosions of light and color!  And 7mad;Ravens has not disappointed with these fantastic Neon Dragonfly wings.  Oh My Gacha starts July 1st, and 7mad has a great gacha featuring a NeonWing collection of commons and rares!   Featured here are the dragonfly wings, in which I have fallen head over heels in love!  7mad has created several one of a kind wings for the event, that come with 2 sets, flicker or none.  The wings have a script when you put them on and when you take them off, that adds a bit of whimsy!   I just had to create a little outfit in tribute to the wings, and what better way for me to do this than with Heathenesque's LeeBoo corset and stockings outfit!  The corset comes with appliers for those of us who love our curves and two stocking options which also come with appliers for the Slink feet!!!  Frey created these AMAZING bow heels that have the perfect Burlesque feel to accompany Heathenesques ZooBoo/LeeBoo and Burlesque collections!

I know you have been seeing 7mad;Ravens and Heathenesque at recent events, including the current round of The Thrift Shop, but if you haven't wandered into the stores, you should!  Each of these designers offer quality items at reasonable prices, and they are both incredibly detailed oriented!  Heathenesque has recently done a remodel and the custom designed store by the designer himself, and shows his talents don't just lie in clothes!  Run on down and tell them I told you to stop by!

Zombie Suicide released these cute Skull and bow necklaces at a recent event and I have to say I LOVE them!  With the accessory being HUD controlled, it gives you many different ways to wear this necklace.  Go check her store out and find more unique and creative items!

Dark Style's Fallen Angel

Dark Angel, with thine aching lust!
Of two defeats, of two despairs:
Less dread, a change to drifting dust,
Than thine eternity of cares.

Do what thou wilt, thou shalt not so,
Dark Angel! triumph over me:
Lonely, unto the Lone I go;
Divine, to the Divinity.

The Dark Angel
by Lionel Johnson

Just a few more days left at the Dark Style Fair, and this is an outfit I have spent the last couple of weeks putting together for you all!  The tattoo by UtopiaH inspired this outfit, as it is absolutely amazing!  The detail is exquisite, and considering the placement of this body tattoo, which does cover both breasts, there is minimal stretching and blurring of the lines.  The Slink Hand Applier is seamless, and this is often not the case with a lot of continuous arm tattoos to the hands.  For the sake of keeping my blog viewable by all, I have covered the pink parts with the new Zoella hair from Truth.  I love this hair for several reasons, one of them being I can get away being topless without the decency police putting me in shackles; and another, it splits perfectly over the shoulders and drapes elegantly down the back.  The waves in the hair keep it from looking stiff when you move and when taking pictures.

Have you heard of Scrub?  I hadn't until I walked into their store at the Dark Style Fair, and at that moment I was thrilled I had waited to spend any Linden until I found the perfect outfit for me to show.  Now, with my usual Boho Chic style, a place like Scrub would normally stay under my radar, so I am thrilled to have discovered them at the Fair!  The "Like a Nun" collar is a fantastic mesh collar that also comes with an alpha, if you need to wear one.  I did have to adjust my body fat to almost zero however, for it to not cut into my shoulders, but this will be something everyone will have to adjust differently depending on how it fits.  But if it isn't fitting right, try body fat and thickness first!  A set of bracers that are fitted mesh are also available to match the collar.  The details are wonderful and the lacework is very well done.  Also at Scrub you will find this delicate face chain, called "Alice's Chains".  It is available in more than one color and they are easy to resize as well, which, of course, makes it that much more appealing.  I didn't spend more than a minute getting to fit perfectly for my face.

DirtyStories is another store I was unfamiliar with, but after falling in love with these horns, I plan on finding out more about them!  The Damned Princess/Prince Horns are available for both male and female in their store at Dark Style until it closes.  The detail on the back of the horns can be seen in the first picture.  The design is very unique, considering that most put the details on the front or the sides of the horns, not in the back.  As usual, Maxi Gossamer's Bali Gypsy Hand Jewelry adorns my hands.  If you missed them at FaMeshed last month, check the store.  You can resize, recolor and retexture the beads, cord and the stones on the hand pieces, which makes them very versatile.  I made them black and silver for this outfit, but the number of different combinations you can create is stunning!

Eyes on the Horizon

The summer had been long, hot and dry in that dusty old town, and every hour at work tending to the travelers cars was pure agony.  Every spare moment she had, one could find her eyes on the horizon and a daydream dancing around her head.  To toss away the oil rag, and jump on the back of a blue eyed, handsome strangers motorcycle; was the dream of a small town girl, well. at least it was for this one.

Have you heard of 7mad;Ravens? No? Pfft...go check the store out now, you will be a tad bit surprised!  Making a statement at recent events, 7mad has again created a very unique outfit with the new Greaser top and kneepants.  The pants come in a few different colors and this mesh really fits well.  Not much adjusting on the curves to wiggle into this, which of course made me very happy!  The details of the spiked waistband on the pants, "Trouble" on the shirt pocket and the skully buttons are truly unique and are part of what sets 7mad apart from other designers.  The black pants are shown here and are not something to JUST be worn with this fit.  They are a great grungy pant that can be mixed and matched with many different tops.   Combined with the Dirty Feet Slink Applier from 7mad, this outfit comes together perfectly.

Too many accessories would have detracted from this fit, which I think is adorable all on its own, so just went with a few simple things.

Boho Chic at Monochromatic Fair!

Being a woman of particular tastes when it comes to my everyday fashion, I often find it hard to find stores catering to all my needs.  Boho Chic, or Bohemian doesn't mean shabby or dirty, in reality it is much different than some would assume.  But we all know about that word now don't we?  The Boho Chic movement is highly influenced by the fashion of the 60's and 70's and the Romani, or Gyspy culture.  Flowing lines, comfortable style and natural fabrics mixed and matched with a large variety of patterns are what makes up the core of the Boho style.  The romantic feel of the soft, fluid, off the shoulder blouses; long, draping, hip riding skirts mixed with laces and patterns evokes a life of freedom, art and music.  The skirts and pants are flared, there are no hard lines or tight, constricting clothing. but you will find lots of layers, and often a few pieces of very chunky, eclectic, artsy jewelry.  In the recent years, the Boho Chic style has made it's way to the runways in the largest fashion houses and to SL as well.  I know the sidewalks are soon to be swept, and the doors all locked, but you can still drop by The Monochromatic Fair to check out the wide array of items offered.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the creators involved in this event to truly embrace the meaning of monochromatic.  In spite of what I thought, black and white made up a very small percentage of the event. Too many people focus on the black and white, pvc, monochromatic fashion that seems to have taken over in the past few years and shy away from the entire rest of the spectrum.  Not this time, thank goodness!  *Mon Cheri* put out a gorgeous empire waisted dress with a soft flowing skirt that fits perfectly!   I chose to try out the mesh + lolas version of the dress, and I love how perfect the applier was for the top!  As most of us know who wear lolas, that is not always the case, especially with mesh apparel.  I picked up the bluegreen version of the Empire Maxi dress at the fair, but there are several other colors available as well.  I picked up these great nails from Adoness, called Queen Jane, at the 100 Block but I am sure you can check the store and see what else they have available,  Great tiedye feel to them!  I was feeling a bit fancy free and this dress just made me want take a stroll on the beach.  Thank you to my amazing photographer, Terra Nite for getting some great shots!

And on my wanderings, I happened across a bunny! My own HUGE chocolate bunny!  What every girl really needs!  Bunny was found at The Seasons Story, and since they have packed up their wares, head on over to Alchemy to see what you can find!

Take the time to step outside and see the bulbs peeking out over the soil; the animals at play; the birds chirping in the sky and look to those around you and tell them you love them.  Life is short, live it to the fullest!
