And, I'm BACK, after an unexpected month long absence. Hope you didn't all miss me too terribly much! Before I left, I found my way into The Chapter Four, The Fantasy Gacha, FaMeshed and managed to make it back in time for Collabor88, Uber and the Metallique Fair at L'Accessoires! So let's just call this an event post for August and the start of September, shall we?
Fall is in the air at this round of Uber as you can tell by this amazing fuzzy sweater, and "leggings" from Emery, which look like nice leather pants to me. The meshes for both pieces are great and I didn't have to make a change to my shape, which by now, everyone knows I LOVE to not have to alter my size or appearance. Collabor88's newest round had a Goddess theme, and I was not disappointed in the offerings this time around. DeeTalez released a version of the Faith skin for the event, and I loved the makeup that has been added to give this a unique feel and look.
Hucci never lets me down with shoes, and I do believe I own almost everything they have released. The Naxos heels released for Collab are truly unique and amazing! I love the metallic leaves along the foot and ankle, leading to a very sleek and sexy look, whether in long pants, or a short skirt.
Cae has been releasing some pretty amazing pieces of jewelry at the last few rounds of events, and if you haven't caught a glimpse of their things, RUN to the store and pick up some new baubles. I fell in love with this moon and star set featured at last months FaMeshed and was looking forward to showing you all before the event closed; however my absence made it a little hard to do it while they were still at the event. Check their mainstore for this piece and other magnificent jewelry! Mixed in with a couple other simple, but elegant pieces, this became
the perfect "Date Night" outfit for a late summer, early fall night.
Now, as I wait on the boardwalk for the sun to set, and the night to set
in, all I need is someone tall, dark and handsome to whisk me away for a
night on the town!
The summer had been long, hot and dry in that dusty old town, and every hour at work tending to the travelers cars was pure agony. Every spare moment she had, one could find her eyes on the horizon and a daydream dancing around her head. To toss away the oil rag, and jump on the back of a blue eyed, handsome strangers motorcycle; was the dream of a small town girl, well. at least it was for this one.
Have you heard of 7mad;Ravens? No? Pfft...go check the store out now, you will be a tad bit surprised! Making a statement at recent events, 7mad has again created a very unique outfit with the new Greaser top and kneepants. The pants come in a few different colors and this mesh really fits well. Not much adjusting on the curves to wiggle into this, which of course made me very happy! The details of the spiked waistband on the pants, "Trouble" on the shirt pocket and the skully buttons are truly unique and are part of what sets 7mad apart from other designers. The black pants are shown here and are not something to JUST be worn with this fit. They are a great grungy pant that can be mixed and matched with many different tops. Combined with the Dirty Feet Slink Applier from 7mad, this outfit comes together perfectly.
Too many accessories would have detracted from this fit, which I think is adorable all on its own, so just went with a few simple things.
Outfit - 7mad;Ravens Greaser Top and Black Greaser Kneepants; Salt The Collar V2; Leonard Triple Strap Spiked Watch; Pomposity Anklet "Sexy" @ Pre-release Gacha Garden; NikotiN Illuminati Cigarette (former Gacha)

When wandering through Fashionart this dress literally made me stop in my tracks, do a double take and say, "I have NO reason to buy that dress, but it is AMAZING!" The fit is perfect, the texture and color combination is simply stunning, and was a delight to wear! A true piece of art to be worn. Adding too much in the way of accessories would have overwhelmed it, so I kept it simple with a set of chunky bracelets from Pure Poison, along with their Mbao bag and dainty rings from Leonard. The Alexandra heels have a wonderfully tall line to them, with the cuff that actually comes to the top of the ankle. I think they match perfectly with this dress, as a simple stiletto would have taken away from the dramatic lines of the dress. Now, this dress does not have an alpha that covers all of your pink bits (yay!) however, this means, there are no panties under the dress. I added basic blank panties from Epic and voila, problem solved. Enjoy the pictures and have a wonderfully wicked long weekend!
The retro styles of the 60's and 70's are popping up all over this Spring in some of my favorite shops. I just had to share with you the group gift available right now at Diram. This stylish dress, called the Vega, is a chunky, block style, very retro chic print that made me feel like I was walking down a runway in Paris. Diram has released the dress in a variety of colors, but the one they reserved for the group gift is very unique and I just had to show it off!
Now there is a fee for Diram's group, but it is rather small and well worth it, considering the quality of the gifts. Since I was posting about gifts, I decided to toss in this fantastic hair from Damselfly available now as a gift at Fashionart and the Hannah jewelry set from Pure Poison! The Carlie hair comes in a variety pack of colors and I fell in love with how it lays, and also has versions for bigger breasts as well. Pure Poison always comes through with great gifts once you join their group, and this set is no exception. The necklace and earrings match perfectly and the necklace required no adjusting on my part, which is always a treat!
If you have been paying attention, I love these rings! The silver butterfly is by Zenith and can be found at Fameshed currently, with it's matching necklace and another set in light gold as well. Leonard is always a go to store for cute and unusual accessories, so if you haven't been yet, GO!

Last month on one of the various and assorted hunts a friend of mine were on, we made our way into Dead Dollz, and what I found there blew me away. Now, I love my casual, flowing skirts, and blouses, however.... I am a sucker for a pretty dress and a reason to wear it!
I fell in love with so many of the designs from the store, but this dress caught my eye and was a MUST have in my closet! Not to mention, it goes perfectly with the sandals from Hucci. The sandals were the 21st Shoe Special in March, but take a look around in the store for the other colors!!!

Never stop dreaming, and sometimes, it is quite alright to get caught. Following our dreams keeps us alive and growing! Have a wonderfully wicked Tuesday!!!
Thank you to my amazing photographer TerraNite! She always manages to catch my mood.
On one of my recent aimlessly wandering shopping trips in SL I
stumbled into *COCO*. Now, first things first... The mix of industrial,
empty warehouse with their high fashion displays struck me as quite
genius. No time spent looking at the scenery or architecture, it is ALL
about the clothes!
I am going to mention the freebies here because
there are about 50 of them, and while most are not mesh, there are some
nice staple pieces for everyone's wardrobe. Fedora hats, boots, shoes,
tanks, shirts, you name it, it is on the large wall in the rear of the
store.
Now, those are the gifts for all, the group gifts are a whole
other wall and you can find a few pieces in this group as well. So
before even wandering up and down the aisles of displays, I had added
quite a few things to my over stuffed closet.
I love
outfits created to go together, it is easy... However, having good
quality pieces is sometimes more important than having several different
complete outfits. The perfect basic t-shirt, Boho skirt, short pleated
skirt, or tank with options of being tucked in or not, these are things
I know I search for all the time. And at *COCO* I was pleasantly
surprised to find those items! I chose two outfits that portray the
versatile and undeniable style of *COCO*.
As the weather starts to clear, those legs of ours start to come out of hiding. This pleated skirt is expertly textured and the mesh fits perfectly. It comes in several colors and is one of my favorite finds, since it can be matched with a variety of outfits.
If you haven't had a chance to stop by this round of Kustom9, you really should. I have picked up several pieces from there to mix and match and one of my favorite picks has to be the Recherche Heels from Mango Cheeks. Featured here are the dark, in Slate. They are not too blue, or grey, nor are they too dark. I found them to go quite well with several different dark colors.
I have a confession to make, when I say wanderings, I really do mean that I go on adventures with no specific destination in mind and just roam around malls and shopping sims to see what I can find. On a recent trip with a friend I literally stumbled into M.O.C.K Cosmetics and immediately found a new favorite place for makeup. On the counter, is a box containing a gift for Easter, and the number 3 in the pack is what I am wearing here. The attention to detail on the eyes here is amazing, and I will be returning soon to pick myself up a few more items.
Outfit - *COCO* Cropped Sweater Shirt in Beige; *COCO* Pleated Miniskirt in Grey; Mango Cheeks Recherche Heels in Slate at Kustom9; Leonard Dahlia Ring in Olive
This dress from *COCO* has exquisite lace details that really cannot truly be appreciated until it is on the body. The flirty flare of the skirt, and the hint at the chemise beneath being slightly off the shoulders, makes this dress very alluring. Whether you want to dress it up, as I decided to here, or dress it down, it is a perfect Spring and Summer dress. I am chomping at the bit for more shoes from Nineteen Ninety Two, and I know there are some at the events this month, but I have yet to run across them. The Leighton sandals have a great heel and come in quite a few colors.and they don't come across as being a "dressy" shoe per se. My watch and bracelet combo comes from Mandala and though a bit pricey, it is well worth the close to $700L. I am wearing the complete version, in leather, but you can pick and choose how many bracelets you want to wear with it, or simply just the watch.

I believe, everyone, at times, needs to go get lost. Now let me explain that a bit.... Life is stressful, with work, job, kids, family etc etc etc. the list never ends. We fall into a rut that we often cannot find our way out of...when this happens.... Go get lost! Take a walk on a trail you know by heart but wander off of it; drive where you never have before, just disappear for a few where the rest of the world cannot find you. Getting lost, can sometimes be the best thing you could do for yourself, because usually the journey to just get lost, helps you find what you were missing.
I needed to get lost the other night, and an old "home" was haunting my dreams. In my wanderings I stumbled upon Belle Bayou. This is one of the most beautiful swamp sims I have seen so far on SL, and it has kept my longing for home at bay, at least for now.
As you enter the sim, make sure to adjust your lighting to sunset, or night, as they suggest on their destination information. The transformation between the settings is quite remarkable. Fireflies, waves lapping at the shore, sparkling trees and the overall ambiance made this the perfect getting lost adventure!
Any adventure requires the perfect attire, and Coquet provided mine on this wonderful night. The jacket comes in three colors, and the dress in 5 and they are available until Fameshed ends. The jackets cuffs match each of the dress colors, which I find to be a wonderful detail. Comfort and style are key when wandering into the wild blue yonder, make sure to go grab yours!
The Look - Coquet Denim Jacket and Bohemian Chevron Dress available at FameShed; Tameless Hair - Charlize; Leonard Dahlia Ring; Gizza Multi bangles Earth and Sky 1; Pure Poison Lucrezia Necklace; Shey Mechanic Bamboo Watch - Limited Bazaar; Jarla skin by DeeTaleZ; and Kaleido Eyes - Leaf by IKON.
Dream of places you love and wander through SL and see if you too can find the place your dreams are made of, I know I did! Be good to yourself and each other!
No matter where I wander, or what clothes I come across, I somehow or another always end up back in my casual, comfortable, retro bohemian looks. Had a friend recently bring it up and I laughed, because when I put on other things, I honestly feel like I am wearing a costume. So the search was ON! And the treasure trove of goodies I stumbled across at ArisAris has truly made this gypsy heart happy!
The first look into what they have to offer will feature the newest outfit available, named Tuscany. The simple, belted shirt dress is wonderfully textured and comes in both black and white; fitted and regular mesh and with the plunging neckline, the Lola appliers work amazingly well with this dress!!!
Happy Saturday to everyone! Hope everyone had a wonderfully wicked week! The shopping on SL for the last 12 days has been CRAZY!!! With all of the events it is hard to keep track of where you have been and where you want to go, and what items you missed My inventory looks like a tornado hit it! But for this beautiful Spring day I had to share my find from Sassy at The 100 Block. I have really liked this dress mesh, and all the styles Sassy has it available in, but this combination is truly my favorite. It made me want to go take a stroll through the tulips, or well, to hang from a chair....! Feeling very flirty and whimsical! The romantic feel of this dress goes quite nicely with the Truth April hair, and Hucci Vinnitsa Sandals, both available at Collabor88.
Lazuri Classic Pearls - Color change scripts for the pearls and the metal. Brilliant piece!
Leonard Dahlia Ring - Absolutely love this flower ring! Comes in different colors!
Hucci Vinnitsa Sandals - These shoes come in several colors and the detail on the wings is exquisite!
This lighting captured my mood perfectly!
Have a wonderfully rest of your weekend and don't forget to STOP and smell the roses! Life is too short! Take a journey of romantic proportions, which often means you never have to leave your own home!
