Thrift Shop Gets Punked!

The Thrift Shop opens in just a few hours and the combo of /heathenesque/ and 7mad;Ravens have taken a role as sponsors this round and are bringing some new and amazing pieces to the event!   The "Punked Out" outfit from /heathenesque/ and Rider Cuffs are NEW for the event!  The top, jeans, and shoes come in 5 different color combinations, as well as a black and white set.  The ripped look on the jeans is perfect, and the pieces all fit well together.  The added chain wallet with an Anarchy symbol is a detail most would have left off, but is a brilliant addition.  The meshes are very well done with very little clipping or breaking in poses, which of course, is always a plus.

7mad;Ravens has the "Punked Out" collection for men as well, so make sure to send all your guy friends on over so they can grab these new goodies too.  The Rider Cuffs, are a perfect accessory and are incredibly well detailed.  More colors are available than pictured here, making them an essential accessory!  I had a little fun accessorizing these outfits with different skins, and hairs; featuring some of the most recent releases at current events and around the grid.  Happy shopping and don't forget to head to The Thrift Shop 9/10/2014!

Fashion For Life Boho Style

After weeks of internet issues, and days of none at all, I had to jump on and make sure that everyone has gone and done some shopping, and contributed to a good cause!  The Fashion For Life, Relay for Life event is still going on now, and I was absolutely amazed at everything available.  From discounts, to gachas, to exclusives; with at least 15% of the proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society. I went by and picked up a few things last week when my net wasn't spitting and sputtering and I have been excited to share them with you!  This is the first in a series of posts that will feature content available at FFL while the doors are still open!

Stars Fashion has a variety of outfits up for sale at the event, and the majority of them include Slink shoes and jewelry!  Which of course, is a wonderful surprise!  This is a top and skirt combo, which means you can't wear them with anything else but, with as well as this skirt and top go together, I don't see a need!  The fit is perfect, however, the alpha is cut very precisely, which means, you do need a pair of panties to cover those pink parts!  Matched up with some of my favorite finds from last months events and from The Arcade, this is a perfect summer outfit, and I actually don't have any buyers remorse since I know my Linden were well spent, for a worthy cause!  Hurry on over before you lose out on some fantastic pieces for a great cause!

A Vision of Light and Design

When wandering through Fashionart this dress literally made me stop in my tracks, do a double take and say, "I have NO reason to buy that dress, but it is AMAZING!"  The fit is perfect, the texture and color combination is simply stunning, and was a delight to wear!  A true piece of art to be worn.  Adding too much in the way of accessories would have overwhelmed it, so I kept it simple with a set of chunky bracelets from Pure Poison, along with their Mbao bag and dainty rings from Leonard.  The Alexandra heels have a wonderfully tall line to them, with the cuff that actually comes to the top of the ankle.  I think they match perfectly with this dress, as a simple stiletto would have taken away from the dramatic lines of the dress.  Now, this dress does not have an alpha that covers all of your pink bits (yay!) however, this means, there are no panties under the dress.  I added basic blank panties from Epic and voila, problem solved.  Enjoy the pictures and have a wonderfully wicked long weekend!
