I am a tad bit behind this week, and I am not quite sure how that happened!  Other than a few days that seem to have gotten lost due to errands, and the last day of school.  But it is officially Summer Break for my son and I and guess what?!  I slept in today!  Oddly, he didn't, which I just find a little strange.  I vaguely remember peering at him this morning through sleep encrusted eyes at 7:22 am and him telling me he would see me later.  The cocoon I had woven myself into over night beckoned me back to deep sleep, and apparently I answered that call.  It is now after 9 am and I am bright eyed and bushy tailed!  I hope you are as well or this post is going to be a tad bit too chipper for you today!  I have been doing a bit of shopping lately, which means I am bringing you all kinds of new releases on the grid today.  I have to be honest with all of you, when I bought this fantastic hair from Mina for the newest round of FaMeshed, I knew I was going to be taking a pic in just undies, and what better pair to pick for you today than the new "Neon" boy shorts from HEYDRA.

The shorts are currently available at the main store for $169L and come in a wide variety of color combinations that, of course, comes with all of the latest appliers on the grid!  The shorts are well made with a great attention to detail including the elastic on the waist and the ADORABLE lil skully mouse on your rear!  Do yourself a favor and head on by the store today to grab your favorites!  

If you haven't made it out to the newest round of FaMeshed then you are truly missing out on an amazing round.  But beware!  Make sure you have your Linden stocked up because this round will eat them up!  Mina has been a hair favorite of mine since I came back last year, and I find I have picked up almost every hair release at an event that they have put out.  The Guusje hair is actually what brought me out to FaMeshed because I am always looking for a hair I can be sexy in without revealing too much.  The hair is available for both men and women and comes in different sizes for those of us who like to be a bit more well endowed and all the color packs you have come to love and expect from Mina.  Hiding a bit is also the wonderful new collection from Maxi Gossamer also only available at FaMeshed right now.  The Bohemian inspired "Esmeralda Gypsy Queen" collection is well made and as usual the pieces can be mixed and matched or worn alone.

Evening everyone!  I hope you have all had a wonderfully wicked day and are getting into a full night of decadent indulgence!  The BLVD's newest round started on Tuesday with all kinds of goodies for you to get your hands on!  Tonight, I was feeling a bit nostalgic for back home, so I had on my tunes while unpacking and putting together ensembles.  When I opened the newest release from Project Reject for The BLVD I was suddenly transported back to Springs and Summers at Lake of the Ozarks, and the "Redneck Yacht Club" in the "Keenah Tank and Shorts."

Broke down palace

I remember Momma used to tell me I lived in fairytales and that the only thing he would ever bring me is a broke down palace.....  I guess, in the end, she was right.

The With Love Fair opened on the 6th and if you haven't been by you really should head on over especially with Valentine's Day only a couple days away now.  Tameless has released the "Open Heart" outfit as an exclusive for the event in red and black.  The ensemble consists of the top, jeans, bracelets and shoes.  For all of the applier lovers, this outfit comes with pretty much every one you could ever need.  I love the detailing on these jeans, and the cuffs were not a pain in my ass to adjust, which made me very happy.  The top is mesh and comes in the standard sizes ensuring a perfect fit every time.  Take some time and wander on over to the event and grab one in your favorite color and when there peruse the other goods from some amazing creators!

Little Bit of Devil.....

So since I was up late last night, I was out wandering around and suddenly noticed a sign I hadn't seen before, or well, maybe I just didn't pay any attention.  But anyway, here is this sign that says "Lazy Sunday", so I joined the group and went on a little journey around the grid to some of my favorite stores, and to some places I had never heard of.  Suddenly, I was grabbing items for 79L or under and finding some wonderful things!  The Plastik, whose nail appliers I happen to wear quite often has a whole collection of outfits for the Lazy Sunday sale, called Clara.  I was blown away with the number of dresses and mix and match pieces in this collection, so hurry over and grab yours tonight!  But, the greatest find, at least for me, is this FANTASTIC skin from Flounce.  "Lilly Peachy" comes with Slink appliers for hands, feet and the Physique.  The makeup is quite lovely and the skin is smooth and very well detailed all for 75L or under.  Trust me, it is worth taking up a group space and scrambling to get these pieces this week, before the clock strikes midnight!

Now, I know everyone is as overwhelmed right now with events as I am, but there is one coming up that you MUST save your Linden for, The Thrift Shop opens in THREE days!!!!  And two of my favorite creators are sponsoring the newest round; /heathenesque/ and 7mad;Ravens!  If you haven't dropped by the stores yet, do yourself a favor and check out all the previous releases, like these gorgeous leather pants from 7mad!  The hud offers a variety of colors and they have a fantastic fit!  Especially from behind! *winks*  And if you missed them, go grab the Devilicious heels from /heathenesque/ as soon as The Thrift Shop opens!  The heels come in red and black with amazing details of horns and a tail!  Rumor has it, they might be at The Thrift Shop at a discounted price so remember to mark your calendars!!!!  After all, every angel, needs a little devil in her life!  Since this ended up being a post about my favorites, I threw in some of my other fabulous finds at the current events on the grid!

Destination Templemore in Boho Chic

I decided yesterday morning to look for some new places to take pictures and stumbled upon the most wonderful place!!  Templemore is a lush and magical location with amazing scenery!  The intimate feel of the scenic areas lends to a private getaway, even if there are others around.  It was a wonderful place to go get lost for a bit, and if you follow my blog, I love to go get lost.  To wander off the beaten path to somewhere I have never been before, just for the sake of wandering.

The regions lighting is quite lovely, so make sure to keep it on when you visit, unless of course taking pictures!  Then play until  you find the perfect setting for your photo.  However, for those taking pictures for blogs, advertisements, etc., the region does not allow scripts, so using an Expression HUD to enhance the photos is out of the question!  I did find, that if I waited for just the right moment, that I didn't need my HUD to catch the perfect shot.

While strolling through, I decided to take a few pictures and share with you one of my favorite daily outfits.  The patchwork dress from ArisAris with its exquisitely detailed bodice of crocheted lace, and whimsical bottom in a quilted patchwork pattern, is a splendid example of my Boho Chic style.  It comes in 3 color combinations at the main store, white, the patchwork natural and a monochrome version.  The mesh for this dress is very well made, and doesn't break when you walk, unlike many others around.  And for those wondering what the big deal is about how a mesh "breaks"....it means the world when it comes to taking pictures!  Don't have to worry about clips or splits when taking pictures, which is always a plus in my book!

This darling hair is by Spellbound and I have not been able to take it off since I bought it.  The scarf on this hair is HUD driven, lending to a very versatile look, which I think is important when purchasing hairs.  Spellbound has grabbed my attention recently with their unique hair designs and quality textures, so make sure to go and check them out, if you haven't yet.  Accessorized with just a few pieces from Pure Poison, Maxi Gossamer, Lazuri and Letis Tattoos, this outfit makes my little bohemian heart happy!

Eyes on the Horizon

The summer had been long, hot and dry in that dusty old town, and every hour at work tending to the travelers cars was pure agony.  Every spare moment she had, one could find her eyes on the horizon and a daydream dancing around her head.  To toss away the oil rag, and jump on the back of a blue eyed, handsome strangers motorcycle; was the dream of a small town girl, well. at least it was for this one. 

Have you heard of 7mad;Ravens? No? Pfft...go check the store out now, you will be a tad bit surprised!  Making a statement at recent events, 7mad has again created a very unique outfit with the new Greaser top and kneepants.  The pants come in a few different colors and this mesh really fits well.  Not much adjusting on the curves to wiggle into this, which of course made me very happy!  The details of the spiked waistband on the pants, "Trouble" on the shirt pocket and the skully buttons are truly unique and are part of what sets 7mad apart from other designers.  The black pants are shown here and are not something to JUST be worn with this fit.  They are a great grungy pant that can be mixed and matched with many different tops.   Combined with the Dirty Feet Slink Applier from 7mad, this outfit comes together perfectly. 

Too many accessories would have detracted from this fit, which I think is adorable all on its own, so just went with a few simple things.

Casual Chic at Fashionart!

If you have been staying away from Fashionart because you have made the assumption it is all haute couture and high fashion collections, then STOP and wander in and surprise yourself, I did!  Ever since I saw the first ads for this event, I must say I was intrigued.  Fashion meets art... Love the concept, and in reality, it is often very true.  When you first load in, be prepared for a heck of a load...it is an ENORMOUS event location.  Don't let this discourage you, because once it has loaded, it is smooth sailing from there on out.  Honestly, too many designers to list, and so many things to pick up as gifts or dollarbies!  However, one particular group jumped out at me and ran off with my wallet!  D-Style has a nice collection inside the main building that happened to pique my interest.  To find bohemian maxi dresses and retro jumpsuits made me squeal with delight! 

The fit on this jumpsuit is fantastic and the textures are very well done.  I have seen this mesh look flat and not necessarily like fabric, and this one surpasses the others I have run across.  The teal in this particular jumpsuit, is one of my favorite colors, and MONTHS ago I bought a collar from Ducknipple because I loved the style and the versatility and to my surprise the teals matched perfectly, so I just had to show it to you!  I make a point of venturing to Truth at least once a week to make sure I haven't missed anything new.  This last week, I found this hair and I LOVE it!  It has options for those of us who favor a more well endowed look, even without Lolas on, and the options make sure all avatars can wear the hairs.  The variety of colors offered makes this a truly great hair for your more casual, laid back days!  I have fallen for this outfit so much, if you happen to run into me on the grid, you might just see me in this very thing!  Enjoy, and happy shopping!!
