In just two days it will be 2015 and the current year will fade away into a memory.  It is the time of year when we reflect on what has happened in the last twelve months and take the lessons learned and move forward to a bright and shiny new year.  Remember, a year is never bad, just full of lessons learned.

I am sure everyone has parties to go to on and off Secondlife in the next few days and I wanted to make sure that I showed off this stunning dress from YumZ currently at Vogue's Arctic Blast.  The "Glitter" dress is available in Bronze, Gold and Platinum, pictured here.  The dress also has all the appliers you could possibly want and even though not wearing Lolas, I did try the applier and it fit wonderfully!  Matched up with YumZ's Trinitii heels, this becomes a perfect dress for New Year's Eve and beyond.  I love this shoe mesh, and have to say the number of color choices in YumZ's HUD is fantastic making them very versatile, and one of the reasons they have made a move to the permanent side of my closet.  Royal Jewelers has released the "Snowflakes" collection for Vogue's Arctic Blast as well and the pieces are absolutely amazing.  The set comes in gold and platinum with a variety of bracelets to choose from, as well as two earring choices.  What are you waiting for?!  The Arctic Blast ends soon so hurry on over and get your hands on some fantastic new designs!

Room69 opens on January 1st, and CaTwA is making their first appearance with a sale on select hairstyles and a Gacha with short and long stemmed roses!  The black and white are the rares and come in both versions.  The roses are very well detailed and are the perfect length for holding or wearing in your hair.  Make sure to head on over and do some shopping to cure that hangover on the 1st!

Enchanted Evening

I have truly fallen in love with Pinoy Hideout.  The scenery is just gorgeous and all of the different locations that are set up to snuggle with that special someone or to just take advantage of the photo ops, are wonderful!  I have been taking pics there off and on the last month and decided I should probably let everyone know where I have been!  From little shops, to homes, gardens, woods or the beach, Pinoy has all you could possibly want for a wonderfully enchanted evening.

Cozy Chic

Can you feel the excitement in the air as we draw closer to Christmas and the end of the year?  I love the feelings and emotions of this time of year so very much.  Spending the hours catching up with old friends and family; meals together; the sparkle of candles and lights reflecting everywhere make it the perfect time of year for me.  Not to mention, the Bohemian in me, loves all the patterns, and fabric combinations that abound this time of year!  Today, I bring you teasers from all kinds of events and wonderful new releases!

Preptopia has a bunch of new releases in store and I just had to show off a couple of them!  This fantastic belted fur vest comes in 4 different fur textures, and several options for the belt via HUD.  The fit is perfect and the mesh doesn't break when you move.  Since I was going to be outside, I tossed on the upper part of a bodysuit so I wasn't TOO cold!  Matched the vest up with Preptopia's new Skinny Jeans in Indigo as well.  Which, the jeans are mesh and fit perfectly, even under the vest of the same size.  I didn't have to go up a size in the vest over the jeans which is always a plus!

I have to say, the brand new Eloc skin from Center Ville, is GORGEOUS!  The makeup is wonderfully detailed on the eyes, with the lips left pale, which I just adore.  The skin is available in 4 tones with cleavage and brow options.  Skins have Slink appliers for the hands and feet as well.  Not sure about any other appliers right now, but hurry on over and check out the skins instore!  I love the Rosalina hair from CaTwA.  It is a soft, messy side swept pony that frames the face elegantly.  Hurry on over and pick up your faves from the store today!

Home for the Holidays

Feeling Glamorous!

Ever have one of those moments when you put something on and suddenly you are transported somewhere else?  Whether it be in time or to an event?  When I slipped on the brand new "Marisol" dress from Bomshie, exclusively at Vogue's Arctic Blast, I was transported back to a more glamorous time.  Pick an era, 30's, 40's or 50's or today and this ensemble would fit in perfectly! 

The very classic feel of this dress, paired with Bougie's LisaKeo shoes, also a new and exclusive release at Arctic Blast, makes for fun accessorizing, as you can keep it modern or take it back a little.  Which, I decided to do a bit of both!  If you follow my blog, I rarely wear appliers, other than my Slink hands and feet, but I just thought this dress looked even more amazing when I put my Lolas on!  Makes for a hell of a profile to the dress, wouldn't you agree?

Having picked up the stole for an earlier photo shoot, I decided it would go quite nicely with this dress and I just LOVE how the whole thing turned out.  Did you see that GORGEOUS hair from Catwa?!  The vintage-esque sweeping long hair frames the face quite nicely and lies perfectly down the back giving a wonderfully, smooth, long line.  Whether dressing up or dressing down, the "Miss Fortune" hair is a must have for everyone's closet!

Wandering at Nordan om Jordan again for my snowy pics I stumbled upon the wonderful Storytime stump from Vespertine and just had to take a few shots!  Inspired by the beanie, I rummaged through my goodies from YumZ and paired up the double sweater set, with Loordes of London's Pavia jeans, all exclusives currently at Vogue's Arctic Blast!  The Double Sweater comes with a 16 color HUD making it incredibly versatile and a MUST for everyone's closet this winter.  The jeans are a great mesh  with wonderful attention to detail and the jeans comes in a variety of bright colors for this chilly, sometimes dreary time of the year.  YumZ has also released short Ugg Boots for Arctic Blast as well in matching colors to the sweaters, which is AWESOME!  Hurry on over and put together your favorite color combinations of just buy them all!

Deceitful Innocence

Deceitful Innocence, what a wonderful store name, conjures so many images in the mind.  And then when I unpacked the box the image was complete and I was delighted to get to put together a rather "Lolita-esque" ensemble!  The "Arctic Cutie Coat" is currently an EXCLUSIVE at Arctic Blast, from SL Vogue.  The fit on this dress is absolutely perfect, with no breaking in any of my posing, which of course is always a plus in my book!  The 1950'sish Powder Blue Coat with Lace and Frills is expertly detailed with an attention to great detail in the textures.  But, the name of the store inspired the rest of the ensemble.

I just HAD to pull out these FANTASTIC boots I picked up at Frozzen, from Shey.  The fit is amazing on these boots for Slink High feet, and the HUD is just INSANE!  I am pretty sure I counted at least 30 different color combinations and I haven't been this happy with a personal purchase in a very long time!  So hurry on over and grab your own!    Did you SEE those adorable butterflies?!  Alchemist has a Gacha at Arctic Blast so make sure to drop by, because these butterflies are truly a gorgeous creation.  They come in 2 varieties, Fractal and non, with the Fractal pictured here.  Arctic Blast runs from TODAY until the first week in January, so don't wait too long or you will miss out!  And to top the whole thing off the delicately detailed, but stunning "Angelica" skin, from Glam Affair and one of my all time favorite hairs from Truth from the September round of The Arcade!  This is the Rare Sushi version, obviously MINUS the Sushi and Sakura flowers.  If you happen upon this hair at a yardsale, grab one!

Artic Blast is OPEN!

It isn't officially Winter for another week, but it sure is cold up here in the mountains of Arizona!  Our peaks FINALLY are covered with snow and the chill in the air has brought the holiday season to my doorstep.  If you haven't managed to get in the spirit yet, or if you are searching for a perfect Winter outfit then head on over to Arctic Blast from SL Vogue.  Doors opened today and will be open through the first week in January so make sure you head on over to get your hands on some amazing items for this Season!

Loordes of London has released two outfits for the event, and the colors and pieces can be mixed and matched until your heart is content!  This morning I bring to you the La Mans and La Tour set.  The La Mans shirt is a henley jersey style shirt with black sleeves and different colors for the main body of the shirt.  The La Tour pants come in complimentary colors to enhance the look, or just pair it with your favorite jeans for a very casual look.  Which of course, having fallen in love with the Addams Worn Out jeans from the "Mary" collection exclusive at Arctic Blast, I just had to show off that look as well!  And this hat from Loordes of London also available in complimentary colors, is just adorable and a GREAT accent detail!  The hat has a resizer when you touch it, making it very easy to fit!  And if looking for a hair to fit under that hat....look no further than Tameless and their new release, "Gizella"!  I love the short cut that fits under a lot of hats, yet has the tendrils floating on the hair, giving it a very real feeling.  Head on over to the store and grab some new hair!  Which, while showing you this outfit, I just had to show off this hair from Catwa as well.  I love how the "Tina" hair falls over the face yet doesn't hide it.

Winter Chic @ Arctic Blast

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone had a wonderful week and that you are ready to have a relaxing and wicked weekend.  SL Vogue kicks off its next event, Arctic Blast, in two days, and there are so many amazing goodies for you to get your hands on!  When I unpacked the "Mary" complete outfit from Addams Fashion, I almost squealed with delight.  This ensemble is so perfectly me, I can't even begin to explain!   If you have been following my blog for awhile, then you know I am a true Bohemian at heart, and when running around on the grid to shop or hang out with friends, that is usually how you will find me.  The combination of shabby chic coat, tailored shirt and sweater with cuffed, well worn jeans epitomizes the "Boho" look for me.  And of course, I just had to add this fabulous bag from Zenith, because I just HAD to add a fun pattern to the ensemble.  I must admit I went on a hunt to find the perfect hair I had pictured in my mind to perfectly compliment this outfit and found my way to Catwa and the "Rosalina" hair.  I just couldn't resist the "devil may care" feeling of this hair.  The hair comes in several sizes, including those for Lola's and rigged and non-rigged bangs so you can adjust things to fit your head.  I might  have picked up a few other hairs while at Catwa, and reminded myself that it had been FAR too long since I had been in the store.  Trust me when I say, my WANT folder from there is quite large now!

 Winter is upon us, and apparently, the Reindeer are feeling like playing!  So how about you come and join in my Reindeer Games with Awear for SL Vogue's Arctic Blast!  The "Sexy Santa" outfit from Awear is one of several exclusives available for the duration for the event.  It comes with a Reindeer with poses, one without, and also the poses by themselves.
