Waiting.....

In just two days it will be 2015 and the current year will fade away into a memory.  It is the time of year when we reflect on what has happened in the last twelve months and take the lessons learned and move forward to a bright and shiny new year.  Remember, a year is never bad, just full of lessons learned.

I am sure everyone has parties to go to on and off Secondlife in the next few days and I wanted to make sure that I showed off this stunning dress from YumZ currently at Vogue's Arctic Blast.  The "Glitter" dress is available in Bronze, Gold and Platinum, pictured here.  The dress also has all the appliers you could possibly want and even though not wearing Lolas, I did try the applier and it fit wonderfully!  Matched up with YumZ's Trinitii heels, this becomes a perfect dress for New Year's Eve and beyond.  I love this shoe mesh, and have to say the number of color choices in YumZ's HUD is fantastic making them very versatile, and one of the reasons they have made a move to the permanent side of my closet.  Royal Jewelers has released the "Snowflakes" collection for Vogue's Arctic Blast as well and the pieces are absolutely amazing.  The set comes in gold and platinum with a variety of bracelets to choose from, as well as two earring choices.  What are you waiting for?!  The Arctic Blast ends soon so hurry on over and get your hands on some fantastic new designs!

Room69 opens on January 1st, and CaTwA is making their first appearance with a sale on select hairstyles and a Gacha with short and long stemmed roses!  The black and white are the rares and come in both versions.  The roses are very well detailed and are the perfect length for holding or wearing in your hair.  Make sure to head on over and do some shopping to cure that hangover on the 1st!

Cozy Chic

Can you feel the excitement in the air as we draw closer to Christmas and the end of the year?  I love the feelings and emotions of this time of year so very much.  Spending the hours catching up with old friends and family; meals together; the sparkle of candles and lights reflecting everywhere make it the perfect time of year for me.  Not to mention, the Bohemian in me, loves all the patterns, and fabric combinations that abound this time of year!  Today, I bring you teasers from all kinds of events and wonderful new releases!

Preptopia has a bunch of new releases in store and I just had to show off a couple of them!  This fantastic belted fur vest comes in 4 different fur textures, and several options for the belt via HUD.  The fit is perfect and the mesh doesn't break when you move.  Since I was going to be outside, I tossed on the upper part of a bodysuit so I wasn't TOO cold!  Matched the vest up with Preptopia's new Skinny Jeans in Indigo as well.  Which, the jeans are mesh and fit perfectly, even under the vest of the same size.  I didn't have to go up a size in the vest over the jeans which is always a plus!

I have to say, the brand new Eloc skin from Center Ville, is GORGEOUS!  The makeup is wonderfully detailed on the eyes, with the lips left pale, which I just adore.  The skin is available in 4 tones with cleavage and brow options.  Skins have Slink appliers for the hands and feet as well.  Not sure about any other appliers right now, but hurry on over and check out the skins instore!  I love the Rosalina hair from CaTwA.  It is a soft, messy side swept pony that frames the face elegantly.  Hurry on over and pick up your faves from the store today!

Wandering at Nordan om Jordan again for my snowy pics I stumbled upon the wonderful Storytime stump from Vespertine and just had to take a few shots!  Inspired by the beanie, I rummaged through my goodies from YumZ and paired up the double sweater set, with Loordes of London's Pavia jeans, all exclusives currently at Vogue's Arctic Blast!  The Double Sweater comes with a 16 color HUD making it incredibly versatile and a MUST for everyone's closet this winter.  The jeans are a great mesh  with wonderful attention to detail and the jeans comes in a variety of bright colors for this chilly, sometimes dreary time of the year.  YumZ has also released short Ugg Boots for Arctic Blast as well in matching colors to the sweaters, which is AWESOME!  Hurry on over and put together your favorite color combinations of just buy them all!

I love these shoes from Bens Boutique, that came with an outfit at Vintage and Cool a couple of months ago.  So check the store to see if they are available outside the outfit.  I have recently discovered Lumae skins, and I have to say I think they are wonderful!  The skins are reasonably priced and the appliers are only 99L for each skin tone, and I mean ALL appliers!  I found them through the Lazy Sunday group, as I have found a lot of other creators that I had not known of before, or hadn't had the chance to try yet because honestly, paying full price scares me sometimes when it comes to skins.  Yes, I know demos are great and everything, but we all know that often times the demos only come with one example, and you don't get a chance to see the WHOLE product, so getting to pick up a skin from someone you haven't tried before for 75L or under, is FANTASTIC!  

PosESion is having a wonderful sale through tomorrow night so hurry on over and pick up your new poses for 199L!  I used the "XPlosion" set for these pics and I just love them!

Seasons Change

One thing you can always count on in this life is change.  No matter how much we try to avoid it or run from it, change is inevitable.  Whether it be a friendship, a relationship or just the seasons.  As I wandered through the grid yesterday, I realized that while I wasn't looking, change had once again happened all around me.  The sims have turned from the gorgeous hues of Autumn to the cold, crisp tones of Winter.  The stark landscapes illuminated by the lights from inside where hot cocoa is made and families gather to celebrate the changing of the seasons and the upcoming holidays.  One thing that hasn't changed today though, is the fact that there are a number of events happening around the grid that you should go and check out!

Vogue's Fall Fest is in full swing, and if you haven't been by yet, you are missing an amazing shopping experience.  The sim is decorated for the seasons with over 60 designers bringing you new and exclusive items through December 1st.  And don't forget, each creator has a gift for 10L or under, even more of an incentive to run on over!  If I haven't tempted you enough, let me try again!

INVADER offers up this adorable Bear Hoodie in a variety of colors, and textures for you to pick from, and of course I just fell in love with the "Panda" version!  The hood fits perfectly over this hair, and I tried it with a few others and it is made quite well, leaving enough room for a lot of hairs to fit under it.  And of course, YumZ has released the "Nikki Solid Leggings" for the Fall Fest as well, and they fit PURRfectly under the hoodie!  I was quite pleased with the over all look, and just had to toss on my favorite "Cozies" socks from Reign to complete the outfit!

If you have seen my running around the grid lately, you have spotted this tattoo on my hands, which I just can't seem to stop wearing!  "The Last Flower" by Elska is available with a whole bunch of appliers currently at Sad November.  The details are perfect on the hand and wrist and are faded without looking unnatural.  Truly, my favorite tattoo I have found recently.  If you haven't discovered Entwined Hair yet, then you are missing out on a wonderful new creator.  The Rebeccah hair, pictured here, lies perfectly and I adore the color selections available, so hurry on over and pick yourself up a few new, stylish and current hairs!

Took a moment to bask in the fading light of the evening with a cup of hot cocoa at Nordan om Jordan.  The sim is absolutely gorgeous and I took some time to explore all the little paths and thoroughly enjoyed my stay, so wander on over and take a look for yourself.   The seasons are changing and a very busy time of year is upon us, it is time for everyone to take a deep breath and appreciate everything around them.  Embrace the change and hold fast to the thought that everything always changes, so that if today looks a little bleak, tomorrow may very well bring the change you have been looking for!

Stolen Moments with BodyFanatik and SL Vogue!

It is the start of a brand new week today, and ONLY 11 days until Halloween!  This is my favorite time of the year, and yet I have been so busy this year I have NO idea what I am going to wear for a costume!  Perhaps, that will be this week!  BodyFanatik started this last week, and there are some amazing EXCLUSIVE and limited items available right now.  Tir na n'Og has brought everyone a gorgeous skin at this round of BodyFanatik and it is just simply stunning!

The Brooke skin comes with several lip colors; freckles; beauty marks; brow shapers and cleavage and non-cleavage options.  As well as an alpha to show off those pearly whites.  I absolutely loved how the skin looked, so took a chance and tried the shape as well!  As you can see, this shape is wonderful, and after a few VERY minor adjustments, it was PERFECT!  After all, the shape and skin were designed together, I assumed they must compliment each other, and I am glad my assumption was correct!  The very fresh faced look inspired my Bohemian side, and lucky for me YumZ created this amazing outfit currently a gift at SL Vogue on Elm Street!  The top and skirt are not mesh, but the skirt panel is, and fits quite well, which was a nice surprise.  With having only the skirt panel in the front, the fit on this sweater skirt from the rear, is quite impressive!  *winks*  The jewelry completes this outfit, in my eyes, and was a perfect fit for the boho look I was going for.  The Turquoise Onyx n Coral set from Glint! is beautifully styled and textured, so make sure to run on over and check out all the goodies from formal jewels to casual boho looks, Glint! has it all!
