Innocence Lost

I knew taking off without a map or a clue wasn't a good idea, but it's not like I was known for my brilliance, at least not when it came to street smarts.  So when Daddy's old Buick started to chug and cough out soot colored smoke I wasn't surprised.  Who would have ever thought the bayou really got this dark long before the sun had set, I thought to myself as I trudged down the desolate dirt road.  My only solace was the dim, crimson flashing in the distance that I hoped pointed me towards civilization, or at least to a pay phone....  What I found around the next bend taught me a lesson I will never forget.

Pretty sure the details of what happened that night aren't as important as what you believe might have happened in that rundown, wood and metal clapboard shanty house.  The "For Rent" sign hanging over balcony might have intrigued me to stay, or it may have been the "Always Open" sign that beckoned me to peek around the corners.  All I know, is that night can be summed up easily with two words.... Innocence Lost!

I have had a secret treasure location that I have just adored for months now, but usually just for myself to go and relax or just wander.   If you haven't heard of Jasmine's Hollow, then you should really look them up, either on the web for all the articles written about the destination, or take a chance and take the tele!  It is an artist's community and has a steampunk theme throughout the SIM.  Whether up above in the Dirty Grind, or down on the land at the Hollow, there are wondrous delights around every corner.  You will not be disappointed with your visit, and make sure to check out the shops in the little town a well; never know quite what you will discover. 

Cozy Chic

Can you feel the excitement in the air as we draw closer to Christmas and the end of the year?  I love the feelings and emotions of this time of year so very much.  Spending the hours catching up with old friends and family; meals together; the sparkle of candles and lights reflecting everywhere make it the perfect time of year for me.  Not to mention, the Bohemian in me, loves all the patterns, and fabric combinations that abound this time of year!  Today, I bring you teasers from all kinds of events and wonderful new releases!

Preptopia has a bunch of new releases in store and I just had to show off a couple of them!  This fantastic belted fur vest comes in 4 different fur textures, and several options for the belt via HUD.  The fit is perfect and the mesh doesn't break when you move.  Since I was going to be outside, I tossed on the upper part of a bodysuit so I wasn't TOO cold!  Matched the vest up with Preptopia's new Skinny Jeans in Indigo as well.  Which, the jeans are mesh and fit perfectly, even under the vest of the same size.  I didn't have to go up a size in the vest over the jeans which is always a plus!

I have to say, the brand new Eloc skin from Center Ville, is GORGEOUS!  The makeup is wonderfully detailed on the eyes, with the lips left pale, which I just adore.  The skin is available in 4 tones with cleavage and brow options.  Skins have Slink appliers for the hands and feet as well.  Not sure about any other appliers right now, but hurry on over and check out the skins instore!  I love the Rosalina hair from CaTwA.  It is a soft, messy side swept pony that frames the face elegantly.  Hurry on over and pick up your faves from the store today!
