This is my time to learn and grow; to shed the skin of my past and fly free.

I am not usually a resolution maker at midnight on New Years Eve, but this year I decided to jump on the band wagon and made one that I thought could be easily done.  So I told myself this was going to be the year of learning.  Now I was thinking primarily of Second Life when I made that resolution, as this is also the year I would like to open a shop, but I didn't expect the "learning" to be a part of my life in general.  In the past 7 months however, I have come to find out that every part of my life would be put through a learning curve, so to speak, and that all I can do is hold on for the ride.  On a personal and professional level I wanted to grow this year and to take chances on myself, with myself.  From that I have found an entire new world open up with tons of possibilities and I have become a firm believer in setting goals.  For me, it is one of those things that if you think it enough, it will manifest itself.  Whether it be true love, a new business, or just better health, if you believe enough that you deserve it, you will find what you need.  But isn't that the BIG dilemma?  Wants and needs.....sometimes what you want, isn't what you need and sometimes what you need, isn't what you thought you wanted.  When you are faced with such a moment, do yourself a favor and shed your skin and fly free into a new and unknown world, who knows what will be waiting for you on the other side!

I think I have a serious problem with shopping!  When I got back, with all the goodies that have been piling up, what did I do?  I went shopping!  Well it was the first of the month meaning there were all kinds of events starting that I just HAD to go check out!  My first stop was FaMESHed, which with the new computer it loaded fast AND I could walk around when it was full, and I found all kinds of goodies, including this gorgeous ensemble which you can pick up at the event, other than the hair.  I love the new slip dress from Valentina E, and it comes in a variety of colorful patterns, perfect for your Summer night soirees, especially matched up with this precious new jewelry collection from Cae and these fabulous heels from Pure Poison, which happen to have an amazing color change HUD.  Since I have finished my backyard area now, I literally changed into this outfit and plopped into the chair to stare out at the water for a bit when I realized how perfect the pose was for my mood.  I feel free now that I have shed the skin of my past, and along with it my scars, leaving a blank slate to start afresh with learning, living and loving!

Carpe Diem @ Sneak Peek

It is that time of the month again on the grid for you to come get your chic Sneak Peek of some of the most fashion forward designs, from some of the grids hottest creators.  The event has a new location this month and they have added a TON of new creators as well, meaning you have even more amazingly beautiful designs for you to get your hands on, including this fantastic ensemble from LIZIAAH. 

The gorgeous "Carpe Diem" outfit comes in two different colors with sunglasses to match.  The romper is wonderfully made with an amazing attention to detail.  The lace on the shorts of the ensemble is absolutely exquisite and the delicate satin for the top is soft and well shaded as well.  The belt is a great detail as well and it was easy to fit and place, which is always a plus in my book!  Do yourself a favor and head on over to the event and get your hands on this amazing outfit and while there make sure to check out all the other offerings available through the 5th of June.

Baubles! @ .PENUMBRA.s Fashion Week SS15

Fashion Week SS15 brought to you by .PENUMBRA. opened its doors May 16th and so far the shows have been packed and people have been quite pleased with the goodie bags placed about during the shows as well as all the new, fashion forward designs.  PENUMBRA is the premier fashion event showcasing the newest collections by top and innovative, cutting edge, and emerging Second Life’s designers.  Baubles! by Phe has several amazing jewelry releases for the event including these gorgeous bangles that I thought deserved a post of their own!

I love the intricate detail and combination of textures in these bangles and the fact you don't have to wear them as a set.  The bracelets are not identical either, which helps when accessorizing.  SS15 is only open for 4 more days with lots of fashion shows, trunk shows and free gift bags during the shows.  As well as parties and after hours dancing, .PENUMBRA. is the place to be this weekend!

Rock my world into the sunlight

The past few days I have had Spotify turned up while I have been working and it has ended up in a lot of songs tumbling their way through my head.  As I was squeezing my curves into this gorgeous Spring/Summer release from Lush by Coco the lyrics from Jessie J's "Domino" started running through my head and I decided to share my mood with all of you!

Momma always said if I kept telling everyone I was always looking for my Clyde, that one day it would bite me in the ass and all I would end up with was a broke down palace.  I guess I should have listened.

I know all of you have heard the news that L'Accessories transitioned into the new event On9 bringing to you the same fantastic accessories you have come to know and love, plus clothing, and furniture!  Last month I was away quite a bit and didn't get the chance to check out the opening but I made sure I scampered on over as soon as this round opened.  If you haven't been by yet you really should take the time and go experience On9.  AnaMarkova Designs brings her amazing creations to the event this month with this stunning dress and shoes.  The "Selena" dress comes in several different color combinations with matching colors found in the "Laurel" heels.  I am wearing my Slink Physique as usual, and the dress fit perfectly with a few Alpha layers on with no breaking or stretching as I posed or moved, which of course is always a plus for those of us always out and about on the grid.  No.Match also has a gorgeous new hair for you to get your hands on at On9 as well, "No.Fear."  

I love this necklace from Gizza, also available at On9 in a variety of colors.  Also, make sure to check every color on the pieces currently at the event, as there is a secret sale making this round even more exciting!  I won't give away any hints by the way, if I had to do the work, then so do you!  I absolutely love how this ensemble came together and you can count on this being a dress you see me in often this Summer.
