Spring Break with Heydra

I hope everyone is having a great week and that you are all getting ready to head into the weekend with lots of exciting plans, or if you are like me; plans to relax.  This is an exciting week with Spring Break starting and all kinds of events going on around the grid.  The Biker's Choice Fair started on the 10th and Catwa has several amazing new releases for you to grab as well as a free gift floating around the sim in a few stores.  If you are a bit of rock and roll or love the "biker" scene then this fair is perfect for you!  I managed to wiggle my way in yesterday and grabbed a few things just for me that I will be bringing to you piece by piece as the event continues.  Also, The Skin Fair will take place from March 13, through Sunday, March 29th. The fair will showcase new and exclusive skins, makeups, tattoos, and mesh body parts from over 120 of your favorite designers from all around the grid. You will be able to find skins and makeup for women and men, children, fantasy, roleplay, and mesh avatars!  Your one stop shopping headquarters this Spring!

After doing a bit of shopping I headed on home to unpack my newest goodies from Heydra and suddenly I was feeling a bit nostalgic for those Spring Break trips to Rocky Point, Mexico and casual, relaxed bohemian fun in the sun.  The "Garcia" jumpsuit comes in a variety of colors and each one is $189L or spring for the Fatpack for only $699L so you can make sure to always have a perfect jumpsuit for whatever your mood!  I love the almost retro feel of this jumpsuit and the bold yet flattering color choices.  Combined with some of my faves from the events mentioned above and this was a perfect ensemble to relax on the beach and reflect upon Spring Break's from the past.

Ride or Die.....

When unpacking and putting together ensembles, I couldn't wait to bring everyone these fantastic, retro jeans from Glo, currently an exclusive at Vogue's New Year New Trends event.

The "Foxie" jeans are available in several colors and can be worn with or without the belt.  I absolutely LOVE the retro high waisted, bell bottom styling of these pants and the chain belt is a fantastic accessory that adds to the versatility of these pants.  Glo has quite a few exclusives for the event, so make sure to check them all out when you go to pick up these jeans!  The old school biker girl in me came rushing out as soon as I wiggled into the black pair and my mood for the night was set!  I headed on over to Roche to take a few pics, and ended up staying much longer than I had anticipated and taking a lot more pictures.  The sim is awesome and I just love the rundown gas station set on the sea.  I wonder how many towns along the old Pacific Coast Highway or Route 66 became rundown and abandoned and actually have places sitting like this across our country.... Oh to be able to jump on the back of a bike and head off into the sunset just to discover hidden gems.
