"And in the meadow we can build a snowman..." Featuring the December De(c)ocrate & CIRCA

In the days before I left for my little Christmas getaway I took this photo and had it all edited and ready to post when life jumped up and got in the way and I was unable to share it with you all. Since my return I have been dealing with health issues that have me feeling rundown and just blah! Today I decided to try and brighten my mood by coming into town so I could share this fabulous little scene with you all while the spirit of the holidays still fills the air.

It took me a few months to get into the boxes on Second Life that you can get for different things, and though I have tried a few at this point, I only have two continuous subscriptions at this point, including De(c)ocrate.  December's box was chock full of goodies for the Winter and they all happen to mix and match quite well with the Holiday Advent Calendar from CIRCA.  I hope you enjoy this scene as much as I do, since I haven't ever put my house back up!  Happy Shopping and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Summer fun with CIRCA @ The Home Show 2017

The calendar says Summer lasts from June 21st through September, which means lots of time to enjoy the heat, sun, and of course the water! CIRCA has been busy this Summer with all kinds of releases for backyard fun, including this fantastic new inflatable pool, accessories and decor, the new exclusives for The Home Show 2017. The pool is larger than most you see on the grid, taking it from a kiddie pool party to an adult one in the blink of an eye. The pool has adorable custom painted designs along the outside, and each piece is crafted to go with the other in perfect harmony. The set available at The Home Show also comes with palm trees, floating lounge with striped fabrics, U-float and a pineapple floatie meaning you won't need anything else for your backyard party except for a few bodies and some music!

I loved being able to set up this entire scene on a little corner of my property, as it was the perfect size and fit perfectly with the current decor, or lack there of, on my land. I nestled the pool and palm trees into my HPMD trees and grass, creating an oasis for relaxation, socializing and of course some fun in the sun! The loungers have between 10 and 18 poses, texture changers, and there are poses in the pool as well, giving you a lot of options to design your perfect backyard retreat with the Summer Splash Set @ The Home Show 2017!

My water coloured dreams - Featuring CIRCA for Home & Garden Expo 2017 a RFL event

I hope everyone had a glorious weekend, and for those in the United States, I hope you had a lovely day off yesterday and gave proper respect for those who gave all, I know I did!  The garden fence is mostly complete, and the final planting has been done, and now I feel a bit like a new mom, hovering over them waiting for them to show me their latest trick!  The temperatures this week have gone into the 80's, which feels a bit more like Summer than it does Spring, but every living thing seems to be celebrating and when I look around I am reminded of the landscapes of Monet, where the world looks painted in watercolor.  Today when I logged on SL to check out what happened while I was away, I was excited to see a new blog pack from Cherelle Capra of CIRCA for the Relay for Life Home & Garden Expo 2017.  I have blogged for this event in this past and it was one of my most satisfying experiences since I started blogging.  This year, without access to internet at home I have had to do some shopping and wandering on my own to find goodies for my home, and I am sure you will too, especially if you love to redecorate quite often like I do.

Psst....don't bother to look for me today, I am playing hookey! - Serenity Style, unKindness, Aphrodite and CIRCA

Do you ever have those days where you would much rather runaway with your friends than do work?  Today is one of those days for me and I am having the hardest time getting motivated to work!  I have been gone so long that I have missed months of my friends lives and all I want to do is invite everyone over to just sit down and chat for awhile around a fire, on my newly decorated land on SL.  I think my landlord was beginning to pray for my return so she could take down the blockade of wintry trees from in front of my land, since I was still stuck in Winter while the rest of the sim was in bloom.  Yesterday and today I remedied that situation and finally put down a new house and decorated for Spring.  I knew Aphrodite had sent me a wonderful package of flowering trees, released for Valentine's Day, that would work perfectly in this newly decorated space.  And since I happened to be in the decorating mood at that point I decided to remove myself from the equation and show off some wonderful new releases for your home from unKindness, Serenity Style, Aphrodite and CIRCA.

Celebrating the bounty of Summer

There is a certain something about the start of August and the ever looming presence of Autumn right around the corner.  The days are still warmed by the rays of the sun while the nights have a crispness to them, hinting of the frosts not soon behind.  Schools are back in session this week in Arizona meaning the streets will be quieter, as well as my own home.  And everywhere you look, the flowers are in bloom; the squash have shed their flowers and are growing into their beautiful yellows, greens and oranges; tree branches lay heavy with their fruit and the various bushes are beginning to show their first berries; a true celebration of the bounty of Summer.  In my mind, this means it is the perfect time of year to head outside for your Summer closing parties making sure to grab as many fresh fruits and vegetables as you can while they are still fresh and not tainted by a can, jar or bag.  If you are looking to put together a stunning, garden party then make sure to head over to Collabor88's Birthday round, which opened yesterday, and pick up this absolutely AMAZING new dining collection from unKindness.

Versatility is the key!

I have often been called an old school hippie, old soul or a mystic.  Throughout my whole life wild patterns, bright colors, and wildly eclectic design styles have drawn me in and held me captive.  I hate a stoic home or room, makes me wonder if the people who live in that space are just as bland.  Recently I have given everyone a peek into my comfort zone which has ended up in me taking a lot of pictures at home recently, which makes my life so much easier!  I thought I had things pretty much set up until I opened this amazing collection from [CIRCA] and KNEW I would be redecorating a bit, especially after my adventure over at the Gacha Garden!  The Gypsy MoonSea Collection is currently only available at Swank for 50% for the duration of the event, so HURRY before it heads to the store at full price!
