It's All in the Details

This past Saturday happened to be my real life birthday and when I logged in, I found a stack of boxes from my wonderful best friend who managed to hit the Tag! Gacha Event and grab me lots of goodies, including this absolutely STUNNING ensemble from Les Petits Details, including the Rare and Mystery prize!  I won't give that away quite yet, but count on another post before Wednesday that will let you have a peek!  LpD never disappoints when it comes to attention to detail.  Every piece of the "Circus" gacha is well thought out and designed, making every piece a MUST HAVE for your Spring and Summer 2015 wardrobe.  I might have given her a tiny wishlist though for the event, which of course included this GORGEOUS new hair from Olive!

"The Darling" hair from Olive comes in wide variety of color packs to choose from, including the Dark Fades, which happen to include a few dark blonds, as pictured here.  I love the classic, Hollywood style of this hair, especially during the more revealing times of the year.  Do yourself a favor and make sure to head on out and check out the Tag! Bohemian Lost

As those of you who read and follow my blog know, a "Bohemian Lost" post, means it is most likely not about anything I received from sponsors, and more about me wandering and finding something that is so "Me" that I just can't resist!  This amazing outfit from Les Petits Details is a perfect example!  I often drop by the MixnMatch event each month to see what goodies they have to offer, as I love the concept of the event and usually end up with some fantastic pieces!  This trip was no exception.  If you don't know about MixnMatch, then let me entice you a bit!  Though there are not many items available at the event, the key is the amazing HUD you get with every purchase that leads you to a complimentary piece at the main stores for each designer @ MixnMatch.  Yesterday, I grabbed this gorgeous jacket from LPD, attached my HUD and ran over to the store to get the pants at a discount!  I might have done more shopping while I was there, which I think is part of the appeal for this event.  It gets your bootie in the stores to see more than what is just offered at events!

This jacket mesh is absolutely perfect!  With all my posing and wandering around, the jacket never "broke", which is always a plus when trying to capture the perfect picture!  The jackets come in at least 4 versions, as do the pants, but the pants come with a HUD so you get 7 textures for the belts that are all complimentary to the jackets.  Truly, a very well done outfit!

I know I rave about them all the time, but if you haven't gone and checked out the amazing skins from Poudre then you are missing out!  The skins are incredibly detailed and the shapes really don't need much adjustment, maybe a little on height, but for the most part they are PERFECT!  Today I am featuring one of the Leilani skins, "Breeze Blue".  Each skin comes in a variety of colors with cleavage options as well.   So make sure and head on over and try the skins and I promise you will not be disappointed!

Sweet Serenity

The Chapter Four opened just a few days ago at a new location (yay) and I just had to wander over during a recent shopping therapy date.  The new location was a lot less laggy for me than the old sim, and I was quite pleased to be able to maneuver quickly and easily through the 3 areas.  Les Petits Details is not usually a designer I go to for my everyday look, but this adorable outfit blew me away!  The eyelet lace on the "Nicole" top and skirt is perfectly done, as are the shadows and textures.  The slight poof to the skirt makes it lie well whether walking or standing, but of course there are a few issues when sitting, but not many.  I only had to adjust my body fat by a couple of numbers to have this perfectly on my shape, which as you all know by now, is a HUGE thing for me.  The standard sizes have a scale they fit in, and I know where my shape lies and I know that I shouldn't have to make many adjustments if the creator is working off the SL Standard Size guidelines.  Always something to keep in mind when out shopping on the grid!

FaMeshed has also been open for a few days now, and Tableau Vivant has a fantastic hair at the event you should go pick up!  I will be honest, I haven't been a fan of Tableau really, up until now.  The Andree Solstice hair comes in two sizes; one for the implant crowd and another for those who don't care for the mesh breasts.  Now, I have had a question posed to me about hair bases and here is the truth.  I wear a hair base, usually from Wasabi Pills because of the variety of colors, with EVERY hair I wear.  I think it gives a much more natural look and honestly I feel a bit naked without one.
I wandered over to Slink West to check out the My Slink Obsession event (post coming soon) and ended up wandering the sim for HOURS in a Slink induced haze!  Everything you need for your Slink parts is available!  I happened upon these wonderful shoes from SYSY on my adventure.  I love the style on these wonderfully dainty shoes.  A lot of the Slink shoes coming out lately have a chunky heel and I am not a fan.  I love the sexy look of a stiletto and how it enhances the curve of a ladies leg.  These shoes are perfectly feminine and I have grabbed a couple pairs to keep around.  And if you hadn't heard, IKON just released a new line of eyes, Immortal/Mortal.  Each set of eyes comes with both styles and in system and mesh eyes.  As usual, the textures and colors are wonderful and I have fallen in love with these very haunted looking eyes.  I think accessories can overload an outfit at times, and because I wanted to focus on the beauty of this I tried to not distract everyone with a lot of bling.  Just simple bracelets from **Feel**, though they are a gift from a former event.  Check out the little boutique and see what you can find!

Lost in the Books

Our world moves so quickly these days, and so many of us have taken our reading to the technological level and don't even sit down to read anymore.  But the feel of a book in your hands, the smell of the paper, the worn cover; those are all part of what reading is all about.  Don't forget to take the time and sit alone, in your quiet space and read your favorite book from when you were a child, or simply one that a friend mentioned somewhere along the way.  Be good to yourself and step away from the technology, the hustle and bustle and simply go back to a time when everything wasn't, "automatic".

I did mention recently that my bedroom is a mess of boxes, bags and tissue paper, and tucked in those bags from Chapter Four is this adorable outfit from Les Petits Details, called Abigail May.  This adorable skirt and jacket/shirt combo feels perfect for these Spring days and made me a bit nostalgic for my college days.  Hitting the books during finals months seemed the perfect setting to show off this cute outfit!

Now, the ad for the ILAYA Ring, at the Fantasy Gacha is not one that necessarily draws you in, but I am quite pleased with this simple ring.  The rare comes with a color HUD so you can change the stone in the center of the ring, making it a perfect, classic accessory.  I have absolutely fallen in love with the jewelry from Zenith featured at the most recent round of Fameshed!  Head over and check it out, if you haven't!  You still have time!
