It is a bit cooler today than it has been, and I realized that we had finally hit the last of our warm days and were diving head first into a traditional Fall. My plants I forgot to bring in last night can attest to the fact that it was damned cold last night here in the mountains and the weather service says we had our first hard chill. All over the world there are different names for above normal temperatures in the Fall and I really loved the fact that in many of the Slavic nations it happens to be called an "Old Woman's Summer" or "Gypsy Summer", which of course the latter appealed to my Bohemian heart and I got to thinking about the fact that this is the time of year when you see Boho fashion at its finest.
