Say it like you mean it

You would think with everything I have going on right now that romance would be the last thing on my mind.  But, well there are just some things you cannot control.  For those of you who have been following along for the last fifteen months you are well aware that from time to time this is a topic that comes up.  For well over a year now I have had a friend who interests me more than anyone has in a long time, which is terrifying if you want the truth.  I have been quite content in my own little world for years now and very comfortable in my singleness. Having someone grab my attention and maintain it even through tougher times is an unusual event.  Needless to say my thoughts drift to him as it has been a bit since we have seen each other and I might get a bit needy when in pain.  By the way, I am giggling through writing this post as revealing this much of myself makes me a bit nervous, and well it is all so very true!  (LOL)  At 43 I have settled enough in my life and I won't compromise myself again for the sake of another, not even for love.  And to be honest, I think that is where we both are when it comes to romance.  We have talked about relationships and love; children, school, college, finances; friendship; future, I guess just about everything.  A wonderful friendship has grown between us and I sit and wonder when one of us will make a move towards something else, or if over 40, the risk is too great.  True friendships between men and women are hard to maintain and often times when one takes that step over the secret barrier that exists between friends, there is often no turning back.  Let's be honest... great sex is great sex and chemistry feels amazing but being able to just sit and talk for hours about anything lasts a lot longer than the fleeting euphoria of a mind blowing orgasm.  Granted, finding both would be just....well that's just a dream, at least for me!  But yes, that is the goal, after all I am a f***ing Princess, better treat me like one!!

I have to admit I love gatchas, simply for the fact that I feel a bit like I am gambling, which has been known in the past to border on an addiction.  So when I hear of a store offering a gatcha at their location, not at some event where percentages are set so high that you never even have a chance at the rare, I get a tad bit excited!  When I opened my goodies from NoName I was delighted to see an in-store gatcha with an  adorable, yet sexy tank shirt/dress available in solid colors and "prints" which include a variety of sayings.  There are 8 solid colors, 10 prints and 2 rares in the machine with the rares being all solids in a HUD or all prints in a HUD at ONLY 50L a play!

Bohemain Lost in Jinx

Earlier today I posted about my amazing find at Vivaldi and all of its gorgeous scenery, and I promised I would share with you the ensemble I was wearing while out getting lost today.  And so as promised, I present to you one of the newest outfits from Jinx!

Jinx is a new creator part of the amazing We Love to Blog group and I absolutely fell in love with this outfit the moment I unpacked it.  This is truly a "Jade" kind of outfit and completely fits into my idea of Bohemian Couture.  Every detail of this ensemble is perfectly designed to compliment or accent each other, making it a great addition to any closet, especially those of you with a Boho flair.  The top and pants are well meshed and wonderfully textured as are the accessories that go so well with the sexy stilettos.

The color combinations in the "Gemma" ensemble made me hurry to my folder from Alaskametro and grab one of the stunning new eyeshadows that are currently available at Anybody.  The Tropika shadows come in a variety of two tone combinations that are perfect for the Summer!  Make sure to check out all the varieties when you stop by the event including the matching nail polishes available in all the latest appliers, as are the shadows.  Make sure to not miss the fantastic location as well.  All pictures were taken at Vivaldi and I will surely be back to visit the sim and discover more of the secrets at this hidden treasure.

Summer Chic @ Sneak Peek

Ever have one of those moments where as you are getting dressed or just sitting around a song starts tumbling through your head?  I have them often, and I am also one of those people who can manage to work a song, or at least lyrics into almost any conversation.  As I was putting together this ensemble today I had one of those moments and everything came together, from the entire feel of the outfit to the location and of course, the song.

Sneak Peek opened on Monday with all kinds of new and exclusive designs from some of the grids hottest creators on the grid.  The venue for the event has changed and grown, meaning there are even more amazing pieces to get your hands on, including this fabulous dress from KL Couture.  The "Amelie" dress comes in sizes for SL Classic and Mesh Avatars meaning you are sure to find a perfect fit.  The dress is very well made including the exquisite lace detailing along the bodice and flirty skit.  The necklace is also available at Sneak Peek from Kunglers Extra and goes very well with the dress.  My poses today are exclusive to the event from KaTink and HelaMiyo so make sure to visit the event to see the rest as well as the rest of the collection at this round of Sneak Peek! 

Ok, let's face it, I am a Shoe-aholic.  There, I have said it!  And luckily for me, there happens to be a way I can feed this addiction without having to break the bank.  I am addicted to the Lazy Sundays sale event which usually happens to feature E.C.R.U..  If you haven't heard of the store then you are truly missing out on creative, and unique shoe designs in fabulous color packs at truly amazing prices, even when not on sale!  I am absolutely in LOVE with this pair and just had to share them with you all!  When I laid eyes on these stilettos with the Scorpion detail I might have squealed out loud here in my office and immediately picked up both texture packs so I can wear them with ANYTHING!  So don't be surprised if you see me out and about on the grid in these stunning heels!  Oh, I might have given the lil guys nicknames as well.  Do yourself a favor and go fall in love with E.C.R.U. like I have!
