This weekend goes up on the list of one of our slowest, most relaxing, and randomly romantic couple of days on record, but to be honest, I wouldn't change a moment, well, maybe just one. Last night the boys headed to bed a bit early after we watched a movie and my man and I had some time together to just sit and talk about the weekend, and enjoy our time together. During the movie we had a guest outside, that one of the dogs alerted us to, so we secured the top on the garbage can and went back to our movie, not really giving the incident much thought. As we were wrapping up the night, and thinking about heading to bed, of course we let the big dog(since the little one had already been out) out in the yard by herself, and she immediately ran to the shed she chases rabbits around daily. The scurrying sound we heard from across the yard through the barn made us look at each other with eyes wide, since it sounded almost as big as the dog, and suddenly our early, relaxing night together was ruined by a green cloud floating over the dog as she came running at us foaming at the mouth and in the distance the beautiful, black and white tail of a skunk could be seen disappearing into the night, quite pleased with itself, I'm sure. One of the teenagers managed to sleep through the entire ordeal while the other one ended up half in the tub with the vinegar, Dawn dish soap and one very upset canine. As usual, when afraid, she came straight to Mommy, which means, I ended up covered almost as much as she did, and I think my boyfriend considered having us both sleep out in the shed. Lucky for me I have been through this once before, and the above combination works, along with a vigorous rub down with baking soda after the bath. But don't expect them to be on the furniture any time soon, or even in the house, because that is definitely a smell that keeps on giving long after the event!

This entire Summer the family had plans to take a long weekend camping trip so we could just relax and bond a little instead of running all the time with the move and combining of house holds; but for all kinds of reasons that long weekend away hasn't happened, YET! I have plans to kidnap my man and disappear out into the woods for a few days before the end of Summer for a true romantic, bohemian getaway next to a stream or lake, complete with a tiny tent built for two, tons of comfy pillows, a hammock, NO kids, and preferably very few clothes!
When I unpacked this new ensemble from NoName currently at The Thrift Shop, I went on a hunt on for the perfect location and stumbled upon this fantastic bohemian campground! I jumped into the hammock/swing and ended up taking a nap listening to the ambient sounds. I have to admit this outfit is very comfortable for me, and fits my personal style perfectly, just like the current round of FaMESHed which is where you can find the gorgeous and intricately detailed Dakota jewelry collection for Cae as well as this fun, tousled hair from Damselfly, that I don't plan on taking off any time in the near future on SL, at least when I'm not working! The top and shorts from NoName are wonderfully detailed, and the Maitreya size fits perfectly with no breaking or stretching, which is good with how short these shorts are! As always you will be amazed at the color change HUD that comes with a purchase from NoName, so do yourself a favor and head by The Thrift Shop, or the main store today and pick up Merula for yourself, you won't be disappointed, neither will be anyone checking you out from every angle!

Many years ago an old friend nicknamed me the melancholy baby because I really have always embraced the darkness that can find us all. My remedy has always been music, so on my youtube account and on Spotify you can find mixes with that title, which are comprised of what most people would call sad songs. For me they are the quickest way to get in touch with my soul, and the best way to let my soul shine through. A very good friend played a song for me recently that I had kind of let fade into the recesses of my mind because it has a lot of memories attached to it, but I was reminded of why I loved it in the first place and wanted to share it and its sentiment with you all today.
When you can't find the light,
That got you through the cloudy days,
When the stars ain't shinin' bright,
You feel like you've lost you're way,
When those candle lights of home,
Burn so very far away,
Well you got to let your soul shine,
Just like my daddy used to say.
He used to say soulshine,
It's better than sunshine,
It's better than moonshine,
Damn sure better than rain.
Hey now people don't mind,
We all get this way sometime,
Got to let your soul shine, shine till the break of day.
I think too many people get caught up in finding something else outside of themselves to fix them. Whether it be through medications, drugs, alcohol, meditation, yoga, working out, religion etc. people are always searching when in all reality they simply need to recharge themselves by letting their soul shine. I am not saying that everything can be fixed that way, not in the slightest, but I am saying people need to pay more attention to themselves and be a bit selfish and turn their focus inward to their inner light and tend to it, just as a garden is tended. Occasionally the weeds of inner thoughts and outward negativity creep through the cracks and find their way into the deepest parts of our soul, tangling it up, hiding it; requiring tender loving care to again let it breathe and grow and light you from within.
I woke feeling like my batteries needed recharged today, so music, and a little time on the beach at Baja Sands, the newest addition to the Baja Norte lands, and trust me you should take a stroll on over, it's a quaint retreat with a touch of vintage that took me back to the boardwalks of my youth. I have to admit I was wandering around for a bit in this adorable little top and shorts from NoName that will be available on the 27th as the Aloha Fair opens! The Raven top and shorts come with an amazing color HUD for both pieces and you will be amazed by the fit! I didn't have to hide a thing with my Maitreya body which always makes me happy and ends up saving so much time when getting dressed! As you all know, I am a die hard lover of IKON's eyes and rarely, if ever, change from them. Today, this has changed with the fantastic group gift release for Virtual Diva. The mesh eyes come with a 4 color choice HUD, but be prepared to move the eyes to fit your head, which if you have been wearing a mesh head for awhile, you will be used to this. The eyes are a unisex group gift at the store right now so hurry on over, and let these eyes be the windows to your soul and let it shine!
I remember when I was younger my Mom often quoted lines from "Rebel Rebel" by David Bowie to me and I can say I was a fan long before I really understood his genius. Before I left on my leave of absence for surgery I had wanted to do a post to honour the man who inspired me, and whose music kept me company often in the darkest of moments, but I never had the chance. Upon my return this past week I was excited to see the current round of InspirationSL dedicated to David Bowie, and immediately dug into my blogger box from IT! to see what goodies had been designed for the event! In true Bowie style, or should I say, with no particular style in mind, other than a bit of a longing for the 70's, I put a little scene and ensemble together to share with you all!
With my serious retro mood on, I was delighted to unpack this fantastic retro gaming set, only available for 2 more days at the first round of Geektopia from [CIRCA], which mixed and matched PERFECTLY with the Candy Retro Set from unKindness. If you happen to run by the store to see the set, make sure to check out the Cocktail Hour set as well for more pieces to mix and match!
The Aqua lights are a gift at the event, so make sure you drop by to check them out. The Pod Chairs and lounges come in a wide variety of color combinations as well as a choice of with or without blanket on the lounges as well. All the furniture pieces have a variety of poses on them, so I am sure you will find the perfect fit for your individual home.
I have so much to share but my brain seems to be going far too fast to organize itself into any type of coherent prose, so I will just say there are lots of changes going on in my life and today marks the last post done on my piece of crap computer. My new computer is out for delivery with UPS and I will most likely be spending the rest of the day getting all that set up. I can't wait to show off the new graphics on Monday, so see you then, and remember always stay true to your style and make today's trends in fashion and home décor work for you!
For years now in the top fashion magazines from around the world quite often the advertisements for jewelry included scantily clad women, after all, isn't the old adage "sex sells"? Whenever I get a piece of jewelry on Second Life that I want to show off my first instinct is to immediately head towards something a bit daring, making sure the ensemble blends with the piece and never detracts. Today is no different with this absolutely stunning new set from Chop Zuey, exclusively for the 30/31 Event sponsored by Windlight Magazine. The 30/31 Event is a bimonthly shopping experience featuring the best in 2D, 3D and decorative arts on Second Life bringing you directly to the stores instead of wandering around an event where you don't get to see all the fabulous designs that have been released.
I went digging through the newest releases from the wonderful people who send me their creations to blog, to find the perfect dress to accompany this jewelry set, and it didn't take me long to decide on this fantastic new dress from NoName. The Jazz dress comes with NoName's amazing HUD offering you all kinds of color options and combinations, which means this dress will always be fresh and new to you with all of those choices! So do yourself a favor and head by both stores today and pick up this daring little ensemble for yourself.
It's getting late and the moon is rising high in the sky, time is flying away from us as we travel down this winding, wild road together. As I stare into your eyes I am reminded of a song and I can't stop thinking of how it applies tonight. Just you and I, runnin' out of moonlight!
Runnin' Outta Moonlight
Randy Houser
Don't you worry 'bout gettin' fixed up
When you wake up, you're pretty enough
Look out your window at the cloud of dust
That's my headlights, that's my truck
Come on baby, don't you keep me waitin'
I gotta go, I've got a reservation
Tailgate for two underneath the stars
Kiss on your lips when you're in my arms
Whoa
Girl, every now and then you get a night like this
Whoa
This is one that we don't wanna miss, no
Come on baby let me take you on a night ride
Windows down, sittin' on my side
Tick tock now we're knocking on midnight
Me and you girl runnin' outta moonlight
I wanna hold you till the break of dawn
Hear the crickets sing a riverside love song
Hey baby, all we got is all night
Come on now we're runnin' outta moonlight
Tonight I got to run around for quite a bit of time in this fantastic new ensemble from NoName that is currently in the store as an SLF&O gift! The Lili ensemble comes with the top and leggings with the amazing hud you have come to know and love from NoName, meaning you will have all kinds of colors to mix and match. So do yourself a favor and head by the store and find out all the details for joining the group. While there make sure to check out all the other new goodies that have been introduced since the grand re-opening last weekend, you won't be disappointed! I have moved this ensemble into my daily wardrobe, so don't be surprised if you find me out and about on the grid looking just like this!
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your night, or day if you happen to be on the other side of the world from me, and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashion trends work for you!
For those of you who follow me on Facebook, you will know that last week I got some news about my neck, and for those who don't, I will get you all up to speed very quickly. I will be having surgery on April 26th and I am unsure of how long I will be away from Second Life and blogging. I knew this was the direction I was headed in, but the reality of it has hit me harder than expected. But everyday it seems to get a bit worse, and the pain increases and I become much more ready for the rather extensive surgery. One of the things plaguing me over the past few days is the fact I cannot warm up. The temperatures in the mountains of Arizona have been consistently in the mid to high 50's as of late, which means my house warms up plenty in the afternoons, but I have still been chilled to the bone. So of course, I am dreaming of the warm beaches of California and how much I would love to be absorbing some sun right about now. Which means I ran off to Baja Cove to pretend for a moment I was at the beach, and I actually felt a bit warmer for a little while.
If you haven't been paying attention the Skin Fair has started meaning anything and everything you could possibly want for your Second Life avatar is available on TWO sims! Alaskametro has released the Kismet skin for the event, available in all kinds of colors as well as appliers for your favorite mesh bodies, and several of the mesh heads as well! The skin comes in two versions, with and without freckles, and I just fell in love with the freckles on this new skin! They are perfect, and dappled all over, which is exactly what happens to those of us of the speckled variety! The makeup comes with the skins, an eyeshadow and 3 lipstick varieties, meaning you can change the look of these skins with just the click of a button, making them incredibly versatile and a must have! So hurry on over to the event and grab a demo and fall in love with Alaskametro's skins and makeup!
Spring is literally right around the corner which means we are all looking for more skin baring clothing. NoName has two fantastic new releases to do just that! The Alissa top is wonderfully form fitting with a flirty ruffle that comes with the fantastic color and texture HUD you have come to expect from NoName, meaning you can change the color of the tank, ruffle and the metal on the back, since the top is gathered with an O-ring. The Amara shorts are high waisted with adorable lace detailing and wide legs, also with the HUD so you can change the pieces to match! Both items are available in the main store right now, and while there check out all the other fabulous Winter/Spring 2016 releases!
I simply love it when a plan comes together, and if you check the previous blog post you will see that today I happened to be creating a post for eyes when I unpacked this gown from NoName and suddenly a post about eyes became an entire ensemble with the eyes fitting perfectly with the dress for what has become a very vintage, cameo-esque look. You have to know how happy I was when the lighting came together as well making the cameo reference even more prominent, completing this rather vintage look, which I have to admit I have enjoyed twirling around in this evening.
If you are looking for a new Spring gown to add to your collection, or if you happen to be getting married soon, then do yourself a favor and head on over to NoName and grab the new Amanda gown for ONLY 249L! The dress comes with a hud offering 12 color options for the bodice, flowers on the top, flowers on the skirt and 2 layers of the skirt meaning you can change colors on so many pieces you can truly make this a one of a kind gown without having to pay a custom price! And remember if you are looking for modern, well-crafted, hand drawn eyes then check out my previous post about Lone Wolf Studio's newest releases currently at the Rip Your Heart Out event that ends in just 4 days! I hope you enjoy this cameo as much as I do and have a wonderfully wicked rest of your night!
I have been in a rather contemplative mood recently and tonight I thought I would share with you a few thoughts about happiness. As we get older I think true happiness becomes the highest goal, no matter the form it comes in. Life can be hard, and when you have been on this earth over 40 years you begin to put thing in perspective. Passion, lust, great sex, those are all fantastic things, but if you can't find true friendship, and happiness in those connections, then what is the point? It's hard to live without regret, or without looking to the past but that won't bring you happiness, but looking for it won't either. It is an elusive thing that when you are touched by it, you should grab a hold and don't let go, enjoying the ride. Recently, I have come to understand what this truly means as I am confronted with someone from my past who I hope has changed as much as I have, and who I think might be looking to grab hold of a little happiness for a while just like me.
I have been overwhelmed since The Gacha Garden started with things I want to show you and yet at the same time I have so many obligations to fulfill before I get uber busy with the kick off of the Relay for Life Home and Garden Expo that I decided the best way to do this was to combine posts! NoName has two fantastic new boot releases in the main store, one with wrinkles and one without and I used them as a reason to pick up this adorable ensemble from Asia Rae at Shiny Shabby, and then started posing in my new little attic bar, compliments of Kei!

Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your Saturday night, or your Sunday if you happen to be on the other side of the world from me, and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's trends in fashion and décor work for you!
As my readers know, I finally settled on a home awhile ago now and I haven't changed much since I moved in, just a few things here and there. My attic eclectic look had kind of taken over which suited me just fine, until The Liaison Collaborative opened yesterday with their Bohemian theme. Now my two sides are fighting with each other and in the end I called a truce picking up a few new pieces from Zerkalo at FaMESHed and a whole bunch of Bohemian items from The Liaison Collaborative, satisfying both sides of my personality. Now the trick will be to make everything go together seamlessly in the house, but that after all is the appeal of haphazard styling!
DIGS brings the Malabar Set to The Liaison Collaborative with wonderful coordinating pieces and colors tailored to the more Bohemian side of life. The Love Seat and Chair come in PG and Adult versions with the art work, rugs and wall hanging as accessory pieces. You can purchase the items individually or as a set so be careful when clicking to make sure you are grabbing the right set. I loved the living room sets from Clustered as well, but I had to make a choice, but I just HAD to have this adorable ladder with it's bright pattern, a perfect accent to the DIGS set. Since I happened to be wearing a new release from NoName while out and about shopping I decided to share it with you all as well since it's just so damned cute! The Bonita top comes in several solid colors as well as a couple of innuendo embossed tops that coordinate with the high-waist shorts, which offer more colors than the tops! You can always count on NoName to bring you a fabulous HUD making every purchase incredibly versatile, which is always a plus in my book. So when you head out to check TLC make sure to head by NoName as well to check out all the new releases!
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your day and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's trends in fashion and home décor work for you!
For the first time in a very long time I did nothing special for New Years Eve and it was so relaxing, but part of me is still itching for one last party! I don't know about any of you, but if the year isn't capped off by a party I feel a bit let down. After all, shouldn't we be celebrating the fact we made it through another year? With all the difficult, beautiful, stressful and amazing things life can throw at us, it is nice to pretty much give yourself a pat on the back for having not throttled people to death over the last 365 days, at least that's how I see it! This year, I was in bed before midnight, though we were all still awake, which resulted in a strange Waltonesque moment just after the stroke of 12. I yelled, "Happy New Year," and 9 other voices replied from around the house, followed by a "Goodnight John Boy," from my Father. If you don't get this reference then I am either showing my age or people really need to go back and watch that show! Anyway, I digress! No party has me antsy and looking for a soiree to kick my heels up at so I can bid farewell to a less than stellar year. If you happen to have parties coming up in the near future then make sure you head over to NoName to get your hands on this gorgeous new party dress!
The Neve dress is an adorably flirty, short cocktail dress that comes with a HUD, as you have all come to know and love, from NoName with a variety of color combinations to choose from, making it incredibly versatile. I love the layered babydoll style of this dress with the cute bow attachment and the sequin detailing along the dress is exquisite. When it comes to accessorizing my ensembles I have found you can always count on IT! to bring you fabulous pieces in a HUGE variety of color combinations that are sure to go with your favorite outfits in 2016, so do yourself a favor and head by the store and check out all the amazing pieces. Now that I am fully dressed for a party I am off to see what mischief I can stir up today with hopes of dancing the night away!
Do you remember when Christmas was filled with toys that sometimes required batteries, the bigger the stuffed animal the better, parents stayed up hours to put together bicycles, and hours spent sitting around the tree with the family? No one thinking of working on Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day and the biggest stressor was often the drunk Aunt passed out on the sofa after sneaking a bit too much Rum in her Eggnog. Now, everyone under 25 is glued to a phone/laptop/tablet and the gifts always have something to do with video games or computers which makes them small, and the invention of gift cards, though convenient they taken much of the fun out of opening gifts, in my opinion. As we continue to grow more and more attached to our technological devices the more distant we grow from each other, it seems. When our family gets together there is a basket for all the devices to be tossed in during "family" events, like dinner, movies or like later this week, Christmas. Everything has become automatic, convenient, and easy yet the times before that seem easier and I truly long for them. Even my family, who cherishes our time together has gone to checks the month before so we can buy what we want and part of me really hates that system. I long to be surprised on Christmas morning again with a gift I never would have thought to buy for myself and I wish for a time when tons of presents are stacked under the tree, or at least a couple special ones. In the end, I guess I wish for a simpler time when everything wasn't automatic.
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your evening and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's trends in fashion and decor work for you!
The Windlight Winter Art Show and Showcase opened on the 7th at a wonderfully appointed venue featuring some of Second Life's best artists as well as creations perfect or the Holiday season. I was delighted with the number of outdoor decorations available at the event because after decorating my home with snow and trees I was needing a spot to relax with friends and I found the perfect decor created by Park Place. I grabbed several of the releases from the event and some of my Winter favorites from unKindness and created my own Winter Wonderland, come along with me and relax by the fire!
The Chair, Ottoman and Fire Table from Park Place are wonderfully textured and fit great in an outdoor setting and I just love the decoration on the Ottoman, its adorable. Each piece can be picked up at the event and remember all or part of the proceeds go to Team Diabetes, which means you are getting great decor items and donating to a worthy cause! Make sure to check out the links below for all your info about the event and about Team Diabetes!
I loved this little setting so much that I grabbed the newest release from NoName and went and curled up watching the snow fall for a bit. I LOVE this ski coat and turtleneck combination NoName has released, with it's amazing HUD we have all come to know and love, offering you several color options for the main jacket and all the detailing. The ski boots come in different sizes, and have the fantastic NoName HUD as well, so you can match your boots to your jacket! They also fit well with the leggings from Alaskametro completing my "Snow Bunny" ensemble.

I hope everyone had a fantastic week while I have been away for my Thanksgiving with my family, I know I am exhausted no matter how relaxing it seemed at the time. There is always so much to do and conversations that last long into the night along with too much to eat and too much to drink; leaving me drained and still feeling stuffed. Today I needed to find a quiet spot and just chill for a bit as my brain begins to adjust to a new work week. As I wandered through the Winter wonderland I found myself in I paused for a moment and thought about how in stillness you can find unexpected beauty, as my eyes drifted to the wildlife around me. This is true in our real lives as well. When you take a walk in the silent stillness of a landscape covered by a fresh snow, pause for a few moments and wait, I am sure within a few minutes you will find unexpected beauty that you would have missed if you had just continued to trudge along.
Ever since my son was a little boy I have reminded him that Mother Nature makes the best art if you just take the time to look around. Like the frozen droplets on the tips of a Pine tree when the sun has set after a day of melting snow; or the bright Blue Jay who calls the mountains of Arizona it's home in the Winter, to the Bald Eagle soaring high in the sky on a crisp Winter morning over the almost frozen pond. These are the moments you can find truly unexpected beauty in stillness. I hope the next time you are out in the woods or near your favorite pond that you remember to pause for a moment and bask in the glorious art created by Mother Nature herself.
I know I am showing my age today, but as I was putting this all together a tune from one of my all time favorite bands popped into my head and I have been unable to rid myself of the lyrics and the sounds of the chords, which means, you all get to be treated or tormented, depending on how you feel about the 80's!
Mystify Me
INXS
All veils and misty
Streets of blue
Almond looks
That chill divine
Some silken moment
Goes on forever
And we're leaving broken hearts behind

I don't even know where to begin with this ensemble, to be honest, because I seriously LOVE every piece! We will start from head to toe with this fun and curly hair from Damselfly that I picked up over the Summer at the Hair Fair, but I am sure you can find it in the store or on the MP. Aptly named Lively the wild curls will make anyone feel a little fancy free. If you have been following my blog for a bit now, you know I rarely stray away from DeeTaleZ skins and today is just like any other day except I got to spruce it up with this FABULOUS new lipstick from Alaskametro, exclusively on sale at Sad November! The Angel lipsticks come in a wide variety of deep tones with a nod to the time of year here in the United States. So if for no other reason than to get your hands on these shades available of course for all your favorite mesh heads, head on over to the event before the 21st! I am going to rave about the Gacha Garden again because I was more than excited to be able to pick up every piece of Meva'sBogo Collection, including the Rare AND the Seed of Inspiration! OH! I have EXTRAS of the rare and most other pieces if interested! Just leave me a message here or on Facebook, or send a NC inworld (JadedPanther Resident)! After breaking the bank at the Gacha Garden on all the goodies there I was so excited to get to show you the pieces when I opened the newest release from NoName currently available at The Thrift Shop for a HUGELY discounted price!
The Sabina dress comes with NoName's traditionally fantastic HUD offering 6 printed textures and 6 solids for the top, color, belt and skirt making it an incredibly versatile dress that belongs in your closet, especially with its current discounted price. Sabina comes in Standard sizes as well as sizes for several of the mesh bodies, including Maitreya, which I am wearing here. If you haven't discovered NoName yet then head on over to the event and be blown away by the attention to detail and creativity you can depend on from the store!
That pretty much does it from head to toe and I hope I have given you all plenty more reasons to check out the Gacha Garden, Sad November, The Thrift Shop and NoName! As for me, I am heading off for a bit to spend some time with my best friend and bedmate, my dog Tonka, as we spend our last days together. He is very ill and his Momma wants to make the best of these last days before he makes his way to his afterlife. Take care and be kind to your furbuddies and the human ones too!
It is the Wednesday before Halloween which means I hope you know what you are wearing this weekend! You don't have much time left to get it all together, but if you are still on the hunt then make sure to head on over to Pumpkin Town between now and midnight Saturday night to check out all the spooky offerings, including this edgy new ensemble from NoName.
This ensemble is an exclusive to the event and is perfect for any goth, punk or edgy Catholic School Girl costume, or if you happen to live on the edge this will be a wonderful addition to your closet!
Here in the dark, it's funny how I never feel alone
Do you...
Here in the shadows, away from the light,
This darkness under which we hide.
Like a ghost I cannot see
You're the shadow behind me.
You'll be my night light, there when I go to sleep
You'll be my night light, baby when I dream.
Under the moonlight, shining on the sea,
You'll be my night light, watching over me.
Behind the glass, he'll never leave
Let's me in when I don't deserve to be
(Strong when I am weak)
I wish he caught how this heart soars, shadow man
Will you come for me?
Like a ghost I cannot see
You're the shadow behind me.
You'll be my night light, there when I go to sleep
You'll be my night light, baby when I dream.
Under the moonlight, shining on the sea,
You'll be my night light, watching over me.
Not the way for us to go
Tell me where to follow.
I'm happy to be told
Happy to be told
I'm taking it apart for you to see
I could be falling to pieces
So let me fall
Let me fall into your shades
You'll be my night light, there when I go to sleep
You'll be my night light, baby when I dream.
Under the moonlight, shining on the sea,
You'll be my night light, watching over me.

Ever have those people in your life who are always waiting for something to happen to them? Whether it be good or bad? They just stay stagnate where they are waiting.... One thing I have learned in this life is that if you keep waiting for your life to happen it will pass you by. I have never been one to just sit around and wait, you never get anywhere that way! I have spent my entire life learning and if I could afford it, I would have been one of those people who stayed in college for life just so I could learn about everything that intrigues me. In some ways, I think this leads to a single life because that love of spontaneity and need for change leaves others a bit baffled in their stagnate, predictable lives. Many years ago I had the opportunity to marry a man who would have me kept very well for the rest of my life. When I looked at him I saw my entire future and I didn't like how predictable that would be and I wanted my life to be an adventure. I have no regrets about not being whisked off to California back in 1990 because my life has been anything except predictable. The good and the bad all has made me who I am and I am proud of the woman I am these days. It wasn't that long ago when I stumbled and lost my faith in myself, but it didn't last long and off to a new adventure I ran looking for my life, not sitting and waiting for it to happen. People ask me why I keep to myself so often and I truly know that in solace one finds themselves. The last two years have taught me that and now that I have found myself again I am ready to take this life by the horns again, I am an Aries after all! So if you find yourself stuck in a rut, do something completely out of character and stop waiting for your life to happen! Get on it y'all!!!!
