“Oh, what strange wonderful clocks women are. They nest in Time. They make the flesh that holds fast and binds eternity. They live inside the gift, know power, accept, and need not mention it. Why speak of time when you are Time, and shape the universal moments, as they pass, into warmth and action? How men envy and often hate these warm clocks, these wives, who know they will live forever.”
― Ray Bradbury, Something Wicked This Way Comes

It continues to amaze me how this wonderful community we have all chosen to be a part of joins together to help their own when the need arises. This month, the Saving Sight event is being held to raise money for one of Second Life's most dedicated and truly spectacular creators, Shane of Deadpool, as he continues to fight hard with his battle with Grave's disease and its subsequent effect upon his eyes. Every day we go about our routines and often take for granted our sight. It has become something that we don't even think about losing until one day a Doctor looks at us and lets us in on the news our eyes are failing. I know my Grandfather took it for granted every single day he played golf in the sun for fifty years until things started to fade and suddenly he was blind. I learned from him to enjoy every sight and to treasure them because sometimes life has a way of biting you in the ass. As a talented creator, father, and friend, Shane has fought a long, hard battle with Cancer as well as Grave's Disease and is now threatened with eye issues which can often accompany Grave's, and needs our help! Many of the grids best designers are taking part of the event including NoName, who brings you all this adorable tank dress, Sheryl, as an exclusive for the event which ends in just THREE days!
As always, NoName provides an amazing HUD with several colors and patterns to choose from giving it wonderful versatility, which means you are sure to find your favorite among the selections. Do yourself a favor and pay it forward and do some good this Fall season by helping out one of our own at the Saving Sight event! Check out Seraphim for more information HEREand if you are on Facebook, make sure to check out the event page HERE as well for all the details. If you would like to donate and don't want to shop then please head on over to the Go Fund Me page HEREand make a direct donation.
Thank you all for taking the time out of your day to read my blog and thank you in advance for your purchases and/or donations to Saving Sight and Shane of Deadpool. He is a humble and gracious man who has fought for too long in the darkness, let's all help keep him in the light!
This whole trying to play catch up thing while still feeling like crap is proving harder than I ever thought it would be, but that's mainly because it's two steps forward and four back at the moment with my health. The date is approaching quickly when I find out the surgery date for my back and at this point I'm not nervous anymore. It has been too long and I am just looking for relief. As I was sitting here this morning kind of procrastinating on writing this post, as, well, I couldn't find my voice until my morning texts pointed me in my direction for the day. Only true friends or partners can pick up your mood in an instant and say something that kick-starts you, and this morning it really only took being called a "brat" to find my voice. Because yes I am! And I am not ashamed to say it. It makes me "ferocious and precocious", yes had to snag that little gem from Jessie J, and I think honestly those qualities are what help make me such a fighter. I don't believe in sitting back and just letting life happen! You have to be engaged and you must WORK at anything and everything in this life because nothing is free. It drives me crazy when I hear entitled teenagers, or 20 somethings telling me what I owe them. Pfft, how about what you owe me?! That's a switch up, and they rarely know what to say to that, which always amuses me, ask my son. My father raised me believing that anything worth doing, is worth doing right the first time, and that is something I have tried to teach my son as well. Seriously, why do a job and have someone tell you it's not right, or not done well and have to do it again? What a waste of time and energy! Which is how I feel about giving you all half assed posts. I know sometimes they may be a little less wordy, which I am sure some of you are very thankful for; and at other times I don't have much to say. But isn't that about how every day goes? Some days we have a lot to say and on others, the reflection turns inward and there aren't a lot of words to be found. When that happens I often turn to tunes to help me out, and this morning Jessie J and I are busy working on our "Masterpiece."
I took this picture last week before I left for the weekend and at the time I thought I had the whole post planned out, might have even written something to go with it, but well it didn't fit my mood today! But the total "brat" feel of this ensemble, which has been saved to my everyday outfits, made me change directions, which means this post is a bit rambly. However, I hope my point has come across......be true to yourself and be a bit bratty, and ferocious and precocious, and this adorable set from femme.couture is a perfect way to let the world know how you are feeling!
Happy Tuesday everyone! Sorry I didn't check in yesterday, but my relaxing weekend away apparently wiped me out and I literally slept all day! So here I am all bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning ready to show off this wonderful ensemble I put together featuring all kinds of goodies only available at this round of Sneak Peek! The event only runs until the 5th, so put on your shopping shoes and head on over before it's too late!!! I know from time to time my pictures can be a bit muted and it isn't often I get to express myself as creatively in my fashion blogs as I do in my home, or furniture blogs. Today is different and I am pleasantly surprised and quite happy! This round of Sneak Peek has lots of wonderful items for your to peruse that will surely turn your head towards Autumn, at least in the Northern Hemisphere! LaVian & Co. has once again brought us more than one fabulous new release and one of the rompers comes in two different pattern/color choices, so I am sure you will find your favorite among the group!
I absolutely love this color combination and I was very excited to discover that the "violet" theme was running throughout the designers so I could put together an entire ensemble that you can go and grab at Sneak Peek! The romper from Lavian fits wonderfully with my Maitreya body after just a few clicks, which is always a plus and there are so many colors to choose from that I know everyone will find EXACTLY what they were looking for! Loovus has 2 exclusives for the event, the Kulinda Sunglasses and Mahats heels in matching colors and different metal selections making them a MUST have this late Summer! I absolutely love the big, chunky, yet well designed pieces from Glint for this round as well and they also come in a variety of colors to mix and match with the other items you grab while at the event. And if you are looking for a purse to go with the gold in your wardrobe then make sure to check out Petit Chat's exclusive purse for this round of Sneak Peek as well.
So everyone who has been following along knows I am over 40, but for anyone new, I turned 43 in April, and though I don't think I look fantastic for my age, I am not one to hide it either. My body acts like it is a lot older and with everything I have been through, I do look pretty good for that, at least in my opinion. Over the years I have dated younger men and the most common comment among them is that women age like a fine wine, and just get better with age. Now I am not one to analyze the younger/older relationships as I honestly believe that if you can find love in this world, as long as it isn't with children or animals, that you are blessed. It is tough no matter who you are anymore and if you find a soul connection with someone, a difference of fifteen or twenty years shouldn't make a difference, as long as the people involved are ready to handle all the crap they are going to get. Trust me when I say there will always be a ton of it, from younger, older, same age... everyone will have an opinion. It has been a very long time since I dated someone younger in my real life, but I have dated younger men pretty much exclusively online since 2008. Call me vain, whatever, but I do enjoy the idea of being attractive to men at least ten years younger than I am. It gives a nice little boost to the ego, which I think anyone needs from time to time.
Call me vain but I love it when he says I aged like a fine wine!
As I wiggled into this gorgeous new ensemble from Loovus I immediately felt like "Mrs. Robinson" and I might have giggled just a bit at the fact I own an outfit quite similar to this one. Sneak Peek ends on the 5th! Which means you only have about twelve more hours to head on over and grab the newest group gifts and to see all of the hotness that is Sneak Peek! So with a wink and a smile I think I might call up an "old" younger friend and see what he is up to for the evening, my ego needs a little boosting!
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your night or day if you are on the other side of the "pond" from me and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashion trends work for you!
~Jade~
Um so it has really nothing to do with my post but I discovered this song today and it just made me giggle, so I thought I would share it with you all!!!!
You would think with everything I have going on right now that romance would be the last thing on my mind. But, well there are just some things you cannot control. For those of you who have been following along for the last fifteen months you are well aware that from time to time this is a topic that comes up. For well over a year now I have had a friend who interests me more than anyone has in a long time, which is terrifying if you want the truth. I have been quite content in my own little world for years now and very comfortable in my singleness. Having someone grab my attention and maintain it even through tougher times is an unusual event. Needless to say my thoughts drift to him as it has been a bit since we have seen each other and I might get a bit needy when in pain. By the way, I am giggling through writing this post as revealing this much of myself makes me a bit nervous, and well it is all so very true! (LOL) At 43 I have settled enough in my life and I won't compromise myself again for the sake of another, not even for love. And to be honest, I think that is where we both are when it comes to romance. We have talked about relationships and love; children, school, college, finances; friendship; future, I guess just about everything. A wonderful friendship has grown between us and I sit and wonder when one of us will make a move towards something else, or if over 40, the risk is too great. True friendships between men and women are hard to maintain and often times when one takes that step over the secret barrier that exists between friends, there is often no turning back. Let's be honest... great sex is great sex and chemistry feels amazing but being able to just sit and talk for hours about anything lasts a lot longer than the fleeting euphoria of a mind blowing orgasm. Granted, finding both would be just....well that's just a dream, at least for me! But yes, that is the goal, after all I am a f***ing Princess, better treat me like one!!
I have to admit I love gatchas, simply for the fact that I feel a bit like I am gambling, which has been known in the past to border on an addiction. So when I hear of a store offering a gatcha at their location, not at some event where percentages are set so high that you never even have a chance at the rare, I get a tad bit excited! When I opened my goodies from NoName I was delighted to see an in-store gatcha with an adorable, yet sexy tank shirt/dress available in solid colors and "prints" which include a variety of sayings. There are 8 solid colors, 10 prints and 2 rares in the machine with the rares being all solids in a HUD or all prints in a HUD at ONLY 50L a play!
Sunday Gatcha Collection
I know you are sure to get your hands on your favorites and hopefully a rare while you are at it, so head on over to the store soon to get yours!! Sneak Peek from Solaris will wrap up this round on August 5th which means you don't have very much time left to check out Summer hotness at Sneak Peek, including this pose, part of HelaMiyo's "Hovering" set at the event. Do yourself a favor and check it out before the designs are shipped off to the stores or hidden away due to their exclusivity to the event. I am going to go relax for a little bit and read the newest book I have discovered and no better perfect lounging around the house ensemble than this comfy tank from NoName.
It isn't very often that I find myself at a loss for words on how to start a post, or really for what I want to say. Today, however, I am finding it difficult. I have been away for a couple of weeks now and even though I usually share everything with you all, it has been hard for me to come out of my shell and let everyone in on the current health issue in my life. Twenty six years ago I was in a terrible car accident, that from all accounts I shouldn't have walked away from, and to this day I have very little memory of what happened. Though it doesn't seem that long ago, from a technological standpoint it was a lifetime ago. I learned to live with the pain in my neck and back and continued to live my normal life, pushing myself often through the pain as I was told I could, that there was no permanent damage. Those words echo through my head now as I read the MRI reports that detail the extent of the damage caused to my neck and low back from the accident. Over the years, I have had minor flair-ups, some not so minor, but it has always gone back to what I have come to find as "normal". Seven weeks ago that changed, and I wasn't doing anything in particular or out of the ordinary, but something gave that day that couldn't fix itself this time. A couple of MRIs and tests later the news is not very good and I am facing surgery on my neck, C5-7, and lower spine L5-S1. I have full spinal cord compaction at L5 and in my neck causing excruciating pain to even lie down at this point, let alone sit. So now, I wait. Wait for insurance to decide I "need" the surgeries; wait for the surgeon to be able to see me...wait, wait, wait... It is making me crazy! I had to get up and log into Second Life to get some relief in my head no matter if it hurt my back or not. I am a worrier, and the last thing I need to do is continue to lie and worry about my future. Instead, playing dress up for a little while, and getting to see all the amazing creations currently at Sneak Peek seemed the perfect answer to my fading positive attitude!
N-Uno @ Sneak Peek!
As always, Solaris and their event Sneak Peek, bring you the hottest fashions on the grid some of the grids top creators including this fantastic tank and shorts set from N-Uno, exclusively available at the event. The top and shorts are one piece and the mesh fits very well, though I did have to shrink my bootie quite a bit for the mesh to fit, which isn't all the unusual actually. The set is available in many colors meaning you are sure to find your favorite, and while there, make sure to check out all the other wonderful creations only available at this round of Sneak Peek!
With how the last year has gone, and especially this Summer, I have decided it is my year for learning and growing. I have always said my pain has made me a stronger person and now I realize that for twenty six years I have been preparing for this moment, as it is a true test of my character as I continue to be a single Mom and take care of what I need to in my life no matter how hard my body tries to slow me down. I gain strength everyday from my wonderful sponsors and my truly mind boggling amazing boss Jamie Cross from unKindness. Without their support and understanding I would not be able to continue to blog, which I have come to love so much. I hope as I go through all of this that you all stay with me through the journey. My posts won't be as frequent but I would guess they could be a tad bit more introspective and probably full of all kinds of information on the lovely world of back surgery! As always, have a wonderfully wicked rest of your night and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashion trends work for you!
Years ago, almost seems like another life, I owned my own image consulting business where I educated men and women about the different dressing styles, what colors worked on them and how to put it all together and still never feel like you were wearing a costume. Dressing people, and understanding personal style is always something that has come easily to me, call it a universally given talent, if you will. To be able to help people get back in the work force who had been away for awhile, or simply assisting the ladder climber in presenting a more professional image gave me great satisfaction. To see individuals blossom in front of you, comfortable in their own skin and their clothes, no matter their size, economic standing, history etc; was quite rewarding and it is something I have missed over the years. Being a blogger on SL has allowed me to tap into that long dormant passion and I truly feel that there are people listening. You can be assured that the advice and information you find on my blog will always apply to your real life as well as your second one. I have decided to write a few posts here soon about colors, and styles and putting things together, after all, we can all use a few pointers from time to time, but today I wanted to talk about what "classic" means when discussing fashion.
Depending on where you were educated or what you look up, there are 6 or 7 distinct "styles" that have surfaced in fashion over the years that go hand in hand often times with people's personalities. For women, there can be a complete lack of confidence in what they like and what they believe others to like and thus turn away from the things they feel natural and comfortable in. Have you ever seen that man or woman who is constantly tugging at their clothes? Pushing a sleeve back up, tugging on jacket sleeves; someone in a constant state of fidget but only with their wardrobe? They were definitely not wearing their style or proper fit for them, or else the ensemble would have just melded and become a part of them. It happens to us all through our lives. That one dress that you just had to have, or the one shirt and you get it home and realize there is nothing in the rest of your closet to go with it, but you wear it anyway and you spend the rest of your day or evening feeling self conscious. I don't know about you, but being even MORE self conscious is NOT something I want to deal with, so I try and make sure those splurge purchases happen infrequently. Today I wanted to tease you a bit and show off a truly "Classic" ensemble with its crisp tailored lines and geometric prints that could have been created in the 50's or 60's with a little dramatic flair!
You only have four more days to go check out all the fantastic offerings at this round of Sneak Peek including these adorable high-waisted shorts from Awear. These are a perfect example of a "classic" design with the high waist, short legs and simple geometric pattern with small buttons reminiscent of beach shorts from the 50's. Being the bohemian I am, I jumped ahead to the 60's with the bolder pattern and small notched collar for the top, which continued the "classic" look with its straight lines in form and design. That is one of the keys to always looking polished, by the way, keeping your pieces to the same style, and or pattern. If you think your hair is too "soft" for the edgy ensemble you have on; or the jewelry a bit too heavy looking, trust your instincts, you are probably right. Once I had everything put together I decided it was a Rock-a-billy kind of night and headed out on the grid to find some entertainment. I happened to wander to a sim based on Nashville and there were entertainers all over and lots of little niches to take pics and everyone was incredibly friendly. Of course being the scatter brain that I am at times, I completely forgot to LM the location and for some odd reason my teleport history isn't working this week. I will be on the search again soon so I can take a little more time and wander around and maybe stick around for a performance.
I know style and fashion get used interchangeably but they are very different. Fashion is what is currently on the runways and take the top designers by storm. Often times, the current fashion may end up only a trend and will undoubtedly disappear into obscurity, however many things do not. Today you can see the same styles come down the runway that you have for decades and they usually become the anchor products for a Designer as they are the pieces that will always sell. The true task is finding your own style, owning it and learning to be comfortable in spite of what the magazines are telling you. I wore blazers and riding pants with long boots with interesting tops and accessories long before I knew anything about what "Dramatic" style was and long before it became the fashion craze of the 90's. I loved the crisp lines, bold patterns and daring colors but stayed away from what I always thought were fads because they just didn't suit me. I always wondered why every time I had to dress up and my Mom picked out some poofy, soft, overly feminine gown I felt uncomfortable and out of place, and it wasn't until I was in my mid-twenties that I began to understand the difference between style and fashion. Since then, though my interest has never waned, I have spent years away from the fashion industry and years smack dab in the middle learning all I could. My experience ranges from life behind a makeup counter, to color analysis, to dressing for your shape, to knowing your style, to being a Personal Shopper at Lord & Taylor to finally owning my own business. For many years it was all I knew, and then one day I wanted a change and went back to school and started a whole new career and life. Trust me, I would never have had the courage to do that if I hadn't been secure in my presentation of myself to the world. Even though the days of dressing for the office are over for me, I rarely skip a little mascara, a cute hair do and something that suits my personal style. Stay tuned for my next post which will describe in detail the six styles of dressing I believe in, and what it really means to you!
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your day and remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashion trends work for you!
If you happen to live in Arizona one of the things you get used to is that if you don't like the weather, simply wait a few moments and it will change. It is a common phrase heard up here in the mountains because on any given day you might get to experience all four seasons in the span of an afternoon. You get very used to sudden, violent rainstorms that pass as quickly as they came that can sometimes drop the temperature by twenty or thirty degrees and leave inches of hail in it's wake that looks like snow. Any outdoor event or gathering is quite often dotted with moments of scrambling for shelter or donning a light sweater or jacket; but you always know it won't last, whatever the disturbance has been. Lately, it has been absurdly hot for us and I have been praying for a change, which of course I got! Now the days are spattered with thunder storms and the temps have dropped by around seven degrees, which is just enough to bring some relief. I was out over the weekend and got caught in one of our gorgeous monsoon storms, and it never "dampened" our spirits, after all, a brief Summer shower never ruined a perfect afternoon.
Waiting for the rain to stop
It is a great time to kick off those heels that have been biting at your toes for the last few hours, hike up that skirt and go scampering through the woods, jumping puddle to puddle. I am a girly girl in a lot of ways, but I have still never owned a gown or a dress that couldn't withstand a little bit of mud, including my wedding dress. Though I do have to say, explaining to the dry cleaner all those years ago why the bottom of it looked like I had gone mud bogging was interesting. The marriage may have only lasted a couple of years but that dress is still perfectly preserved in a box somewhere in my attic. So if you too are caught this Summer in an afternoon storm, don't fret, enjoy the moment and let your inner tomboy run free!
Have a wonderfully wicked rest of your day and I will see you all again a bit later with another post featuring more fantastic designs from Sneak Peek from Solaris! Remember to always stay true to your style and make today's fashion trends work for you!
I remember evenings curled under the blankets as a young girl secretly reading the pages of Arabian Nights feeling a bit like I had been transported off to a land of mystery; full of mythical creatures, magic and beauty. My father had traveled the world with his career but it was the way he often spoke of the people from India, or the Middle East that always fascinated me. There was a reverence in his voice that I didn't often hear; and I was intrigued. The Prince of Persia, tales of Scheherazade; and the Dance of the Seven Veils were all things that brought a twinkle to my eye and I know my mother had to endure hours of me flitting around the house in a swimsuit and all of her scarves I had dug out of the closet. And it was the 70's so you can be assured there were LOTS to choose from, but why pick when I could just adorn myself with them all?!
Majilis Al Jinn
For months now Majilis Al Jinn has been on my list of places to go explore but for some reason something or another has always come up and I had never gotten to visit. As I was putting together this magnificent new release from Tiffany Designs for Sneak Peek I felt a bit like a Goddess of mythical tales and I knew exactly where I would be heading to take my pictures. What I didn't expect, were three hours spent strolling along the garden lined pathways; through the marble hallways of a glorious palace or reclining on the beach listening to the soft crackle of the fire. As my eyes were growing sleepy I found the perfect spot for the Guardian of the Sands of Time to have her picture taken, because in that moment I was no longer "Jade". When I woke this morning I realized that telling everyone to go visit would never be enough to convey the pure beauty of this SIM, so off I went again to take pictures so I could truly show you the magnificence of Majilis Al Jinn.
The Palace over the Ocean
It is no secret that I am working on a computer that is most likely run by tiny hamsters who, by now, have long beards and are carrying canes. But for this location, I bumped up the graphics as high as they can go for me, which isn't very high, and set out to capture the stunning atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and keep on the local windlight settings as they are custom built for the sim, which means that is the best way to see what Calein Flux had in mind. When you land, make sure to touch the large ad sign for the sim and take the notecard. It has the story and original intent of the designer along with an update from May of this year, which made me very happy. You often see posts about sims people miss, or about beloved sims closing, and to read the story and realize Majilis Al Jinn has been running for four years made me giddy, because if you couldn't tell, I will be spending quite a bit of time there in the future, something about it just soothed my soul.
I swear I could smell Frankincense and melted candles in the air as I wandered along the meandering paths with one destination in mind. I had to see inside the palace that had me thinking of lamps, Princes, wishes and, of course, the Jinn who I knew were watching me as I tiptoed through their garden. Around a corner I turned and the narrow pathway opened into a grand walkway all leading to the steps of the treasure I had been hoping to find.
Do you dare to open the doors and venture inside?
I have to admit I ran up those stairs because after all the time I had spent winding my way there I just could not wait to see what was inside! By this point, the hamsters were starting to huff and puff and I was lagging a bit but I HAD to go explore! As I walked through the doors I was blown away by the detailing in the design and the exquisitely luxurious textures that covered everything in sight. I got one final picture before the computer decided to freeze and I guess you could call it a teaser since I can only describe to you the decadent bathing room, gorgeously appointed bedroom and grand throne room but in all reality, my words could never be enough to give you a clear picture of the riches found in the palace at Majilis Al Jinn. Once you gain entry, make sure to take the winding staircase to the top to take in the entire vista, it is well worth the little climb.
The entryway of the Palace
Not wanting my adventure to be over, I restarted Second Life, of course, and prayed I could load on the same settings at least long enough to take a little more time to peek around the corners and maybe under the water. As I loaded, there she was..... the Guardian of the Sands of Time. I knew I had heard faint whispers on the wind inside the palace and I hoped I had not disturbed the Jinn who had still not shown themselves to me. But her presence before me let me know I had more than disturbed them, I had angered the Guardian with my peek inside their hidden places. When faced with a power such as that, you really have two choices to make, stay and die or RUN! Unless of course, you happen to be me, you snap a photo first, then RUN!
The Guardian of the Sands of Time in Tiffany Designs @ Sneak Peek
I hope you all enjoyed my little tale inspired by this amazing gown from Tiffany Designs and the majestic Majilis Al Jinn as much as I was delighted in writing it for you all. Sneak Peek opened its doors yesterday so make sure to head on by the new location and pick up your goodie bags the designers have put together for this round. The "Angola" dress is available in several different colors so I am sure you will find your fave amongst them. By the way, I didn't do any enhancing to my shape, that corseted, cinched waist and large hips with round bum look is courtesy of the dress and I must say I approve! After all, shouldn't a Goddess LOOK like one?!
One of my favorite things to do in the Summer, or really anytime at the beach, is to toss off my shoes and go stand just where the waves break and let my toes sink in as the waves rush out. To me, that moment is almost infinite in it's motion. To think for eons these same waters have washed upon these identical sands, depositing their treasures from the deep and burying memories of the past amongst their tiny grains. To hold a handful and watch each, sparkling grain fall and disappear with the billions below is to realize that each one could hold a single memory, a dream, a hope from other travelers much like yourself. I wonder, how many wishes have you made on the sparkling waters and sun baked sands of your lifetime? I know I have made more than a few, probably close to a dozen or more. But the secrets, and dreams I have shared, that tumbled from me and out into the universe are far too many to count, and I am glad that each tiny grain remembers them even if I do not.
On the seashore of endless worlds children meet.
The infinite sky is motionless overhead and the restless water is boisterous. On the seashore of endless worlds the children meet with shouts and dances.
They build their houses with sand, and they play with empty shells. With withered leaves they weave their boats and smilingly float them on the vast deep. Children have their play on the seashore of worlds.
They know not how to swim, they know not how to cast nets. Pearl-fishers dive for pearls, merchants sail in their ships, while children gather pebbles and scatter them again. They seek not for hidden treasures, they know not how to cast nets.
The sea surges up with laughter, and pale gleams the smile of the sea-beach. Death-dealing waves sing meaningless ballads to the children, even like a mother while rocking her baby's cradle. The sea plays with children, and pale gleams the smile of the sea-beach.
On the seashore of endless worlds children meet. Tempest roams in the pathless sky, ships are wrecked in the trackless water, death is abroad and children play. On the seashore of endless worlds is the great meeting of children.

I hope everyone has been enjoying the last week, I have been taking a few days away to concentrate on a plan for my future on SL and I am very excited about where things are going in my life right now. Sneak Peek opens in just a couple more days and I just HAD to give you a little teaser to get you as excited for this event as I am! Fuzz Lennie and Nice Wildrose set out on their own this past month and have created an amazing new fashion and marketing agency based on their years of experience with Penumbra, called Solaris, which is now hosting the fantastic Sneak Peek event you have come to know and love. The management company is new, the location is new, the designs are new; but you will still find quality high fashion items specifically tailored to the current and upcoming season in the most fashion forward creations on the grid! Sneak Peek starts June 25th and will run through July 5th so get ready to get your chic Sneak Peek!
The magnificent "Adele" ensemble is exclusively available for the event from Flower Dreams and comes with the hat, dress and gloves, though I chose to go for a lighter look and opted to not wear the long black gloves. The dress is mesh with add-on pieces and the hat is easy to move and adds a wonderful depth to this gown making it perfect for your Summer events. I dug into my jewelry box and brought out one of my favorite sets from JUMO as I thought it suit the dress perfectly, and if you haven't discovered their jewels yet, then let this be the post that sends you on over to the store. Each piece is well textured and intricately detailed making each piece a true work of art, which in my mind is how true designer jewelry is all about. I hope you have enjoyed this teaser, it may be the first, but it will not be the last, count on it!
