The Ice Swan Princess from Hopes Creations @ SL 2015 Christmas Expo

I know that everyone who blogs has had those moments where you open up a blogger box and are just blown away by the contents.  I had one of those "oooo" moments when I dug into the box from Hopes Creations for the SL 2015 Christmas Expo.  Hopes Creations brings you several outfits for this event but if  you are looking to blow away a special someone, or you are in need of a Winter ensemble for photos, then hurry on over to the event and pick up the Ice Swan Princess!

Also check out these amazing lashes and gorgeous make up, from Oceane, only available at the SL 2015 Christmas Expo as well.  The upper lashes remind me of the snowflake cutouts I made a a child and really brought my childhood memories of Christmas to the forefront and maybe a few warm and fuzzies.  The lower lashes are fluffy, white and perfectly done.  The make up is also from Oceane and comes in different versions for you to choose from; the set can be worn together or the eyes or lips alone, which makes the make up sets very versatile.  I hope I have given you more incentive to head on over to the event and shop for a good cause since the Expo happens to be a Relay for Life Production meaning all or part of the proceeds of your purchases go to benefit the cause; and there is no better time of the year to give a little back!

This is going to be a Christmas fit for a Princess, and it's about time I had one

I have always wanted my very own fairy tale mirror with lights, and preferably a Fairy God Mother, but we know that isn't going to happen, but as luck will have it, I now have my very own Princess Mirror!  I might have gotten a bit excited when I saw this mirror was going to be at The Fantasy Collective and I actually made myself wait to get it until yesterday, if you can believe it, but I was waiting for the crowds to die down and to really have time to look around.  That event makes me crazy though because I have a tendency to get lost in all those winding paths and crisscrossing pathways, but when I am on a mission it doesn't matter, that mirror was going to be mine!  I happened up on a few other things while I was there, which was a happy surprise as well, so check out the website for the event to grab the shopping guide and get your hands on some wonderfully whimsical items!

I was actually putting all of this together for another post when I finally connected with the wonderful Luana Barzane and got all my blogger stuff and two gorgeous new gowns for Amarelo Manga!  The Nilfa Long Gown has a fantastic Teal to Gold fade from the bottom to the top that is flawless and the dress fits magnificently well without breaking or stretching as I posed and moved around.  Looking for a curve hugging, cleavage baring dress for the Holiday season then make sure to head on by the store today!  

I often think that nail designers don't get a lot of credit for the hard work that they do, so I am trying to make sure I include them in my posts with a close up to spotlight the incredible designs made on such a tiny platform!  This release can only be found at the SL 2015 Christmas Expo right with all or part of the proceeds going to benefit Relay for Life, so you get fabulous nails AND get to donate to a wonderful cause!  What could be better?!

With all of the special events that have been going on the past few months I haven't mentioned the fact that I am still in love with DeeTaleZ skins and rarely change out of them.  In the past month I have picked up a couple new skins, if you hadn't noticed, and I just LOVE them both.  But, I have to say, I have become quite partial to the Marlow skin and I love the classic beauty.  As always the skins come with shadows and lips to tint, which I always take full advantage of, because in the end, let's be honest, skins can get boring without shaking things up a bit from time to time.  So if you haven't been by DeeTaleZ lately, stop by the store, wander a bit and fall in love with your newest skin today!

I am not quite sure what made me think of the Pagan ceremony of Drawing Down the Sun here, but the regal nature of this ensemble made me think of a High Priestess and her Priest celebrating both their strengths in the rising of the Sun.

In the dark of the night I will fly away

One of my favorite things about getting to blog haute couture is that very often the pieces are a bit over the top, insanely creative and get the creative juices flowing the moment you put the ensemble together.  The Solaris AW15 Fashion Week challenged the creators to design "fantasy" inspired designs and I was absolutely blown away by the stunning Dark Night ensemble that came from the mind of JUMO.

Every piece of this outfit is incredibly well made with exquisitely textured details that truly make this a high fashion fantasy piece that would fit perfectly in your closet for your black tie affairs this October.  As I wandered around searching for a place to take a picture a song started playing its way through my head and I was reminded of how often I have wished I had wings that could take me high above and far away from the world around me.  So off I drifted into the sky in my newly found wings towards the distant horizon....will you follow me into the unknown?

"Voices trapped in yearning, memories trapped in time."

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to spend some time away from the computer and out of the house down at the Page Springs Winery, and as is my nature, I pushed myself a bit.  Which means, I have been paying for it yesterday and today.  But I can say this, which is a good sign, though I am stiff and in pain, it isn't as bad as it has been.  Means the physical therapy is already doing a bit of something which has left my spirits quite high!  So my posts may be short as my fingers are having a few issues working for me, but the pictures will still be here to show off all kinds of amazing items to get your hands on before the month ends!!

I don't get to delve into my artistic side very often with my blogging, but when I get the chance to I am truly in heaven!  I know that gowns may not be the standard for attire on SL but there are many people who have occasion to wear them and I have fallen in love with many of the amazing creations designed for many of the competitions.  Virtual Diva has grown incredibly over the last year since I have been blogging for her and the newest release for The Instruments is truly a stunning design.  I hope you enjoy your moment with the Siren, but be careful and don't stay and listen to her song too long...rumor has it she has been known to lure unsuspecting possible lovers to their death!

Slowly Drifting

As I gaze at the mirror that hangs, what is this that I see.
As I stare, I wonder how this person looking back is who I've come to be.

I look into those eyes, in which seem to only behold sadness.
Lonely no matter where I turn, and can't seem to escape this madness.

What seems like a lifetime ago I was involved in an online relationship that truly made me look at dating in a whole new light, as well as relationships that start online.  He also happens to be quite younger than I am which is where I get my experience to be able to talk about those relationships.  And from the moment we entered into the relationship we agreed that it was only ever going to be online because 22 and 39 was just not a reality either of us wanted to face.  However, as with most relationships online, there is an intimacy that comes with being able to share yourself without having to see another persons face, and something real, true and magical grew.  Though in the end we didn't stay together online the love we found in each other continues to be something special and greatly cherished by us both.  The nature of our relationship has changed and though our dreams are of each other and our thoughts may drift to the intimate, we have become the best of friends over the years.  I have watched him grow into a hell of a man and his life has taken him offline for the most part these days and the time grows longer between our chats.  Yet, on a daily basis I think of him, and I truly miss the way we danced, and that is where you can find us when we manage to crash together every few months, holding each other in "the sweet arms of a tune."

When I hear DeeTaleZ has released a new and semi-exclusive skin at Cosmopolitan I scamper over as fast as my tele will take me so I can add it to my collection.  And yes, at this point that is the only word that seems to fit with the sheer number of skins I have picked up over the last year.  I am a huge fan and as most of my followers can attest, you will rarely find me in any other skin.  I have tried many and I used to switch them up a bit but with mesh bodies, I returned to my first love.  If you are looking for a skin that doesn't show a break at the neck, or strange shading or if you don't want to mess with add-ons to "fix" the issue then pick up a Maitreya body and a DeeTaleZ skin and the appliers, which are incredibly reasonable and I bet you will rarely change your skin again, just your makeup!  One of the things you can count on from DeeTaleZ as well is that the skins at events are in makeups that won't be released again, for the most part.  I have found that when I buy an exclusive makeup version, I often head to the store to pick up the main one as well, it has happened on more than one occasion now and it is becoming a bit of a habit, but I can think of all kinds of worse habits than DeeTaleZ!    I love the freckles and soft makeup on Joice as well as the delicate, natural brows.  I have had people comment on my brows lately and I will let you all in on a little secret.... Sparkling waters and sun baked sands

One of my favorite things to do in the Summer, or really anytime at the beach, is to toss off my shoes and go stand just where the waves break and let my toes sink in as the waves rush out.  To me, that moment is almost infinite in it's motion.  To think for eons these same waters have washed upon these identical sands, depositing their treasures from the deep and burying memories of the past amongst their tiny grains.  To hold a handful and watch each, sparkling grain fall and disappear with the billions below is to realize that each one could hold a single memory, a dream, a hope from other travelers much like yourself.  I wonder, how many wishes have you made on the sparkling waters and sun baked sands of your lifetime?  I know I have made more than a few, probably close to a dozen or more.  But the secrets, and dreams I have shared, that tumbled from me and out into the universe are far too many to count, and I am glad that each tiny grain remembers them even if I do not.

Fall into Summer in Flower Dreams at Sneak Peek

I hope everyone has been enjoying the last week, I have been taking a few days away to concentrate on a plan for my future on SL and I am very excited about where things are going in my life right now.  Sneak Peek opens in just a couple more days and I just HAD to give you a little teaser to get you as excited for this event as I am!  Fuzz Lennie and Nice Wildrose set out on their own this past month and have created an amazing new fashion and marketing agency based on their years of experience with Penumbra, called Solaris, which is now hosting the fantastic Sneak Peek event you have come to know and love.  The management company is new, the location is new, the designs are new; but you will still find quality high fashion items specifically tailored to the current and upcoming season in the most fashion forward creations on the grid!  Sneak Peek starts June 25th and will run through July 5th so get ready to get your chic Sneak Peek!
