This weekend goes up on the list of one of our slowest, most relaxing, and randomly romantic couple of days on record, but to be honest, I wouldn't change a moment, well, maybe just one. Last night the boys headed to bed a bit early after we watched a movie and my man and I had some time together to just sit and talk about the weekend, and enjoy our time together. During the movie we had a guest outside, that one of the dogs alerted us to, so we secured the top on the garbage can and went back to our movie, not really giving the incident much thought. As we were wrapping up the night, and thinking about heading to bed, of course we let the big dog(since the little one had already been out) out in the yard by herself, and she immediately ran to the shed she chases rabbits around daily. The scurrying sound we heard from across the yard through the barn made us look at each other with eyes wide, since it sounded almost as big as the dog, and suddenly our early, relaxing night together was ruined by a green cloud floating over the dog as she came running at us foaming at the mouth and in the distance the beautiful, black and white tail of a skunk could be seen disappearing into the night, quite pleased with itself, I'm sure. One of the teenagers managed to sleep through the entire ordeal while the other one ended up half in the tub with the vinegar, Dawn dish soap and one very upset canine. As usual, when afraid, she came straight to Mommy, which means, I ended up covered almost as much as she did, and I think my boyfriend considered having us both sleep out in the shed. Lucky for me I have been through this once before, and the above combination works, along with a vigorous rub down with baking soda after the bath. But don't expect them to be on the furniture any time soon, or even in the house, because that is definitely a smell that keeps on giving long after the event!

This entire Summer the family had plans to take a long weekend camping trip so we could just relax and bond a little instead of running all the time with the move and combining of house holds; but for all kinds of reasons that long weekend away hasn't happened, YET! I have plans to kidnap my man and disappear out into the woods for a few days before the end of Summer for a true romantic, bohemian getaway next to a stream or lake, complete with a tiny tent built for two, tons of comfy pillows, a hammock, NO kids, and preferably very few clothes!
When I unpacked this new ensemble from NoName currently at The Thrift Shop, I went on a hunt on for the perfect location and stumbled upon this fantastic bohemian campground! I jumped into the hammock/swing and ended up taking a nap listening to the ambient sounds. I have to admit this outfit is very comfortable for me, and fits my personal style perfectly, just like the current round of FaMESHed which is where you can find the gorgeous and intricately detailed Dakota jewelry collection for Cae as well as this fun, tousled hair from Damselfly, that I don't plan on taking off any time in the near future on SL, at least when I'm not working! Today, I wanted to showcase this gorgeous dress from Sassy! and these FANTASTIC shoes from Heathenesque; both exclusives for The Bling Hunt! The Celebrity dress is wonderfully textured and the mesh fits very well, hugging the curves in all the right places without any breaking through the alpha. One of the things I noticed when taking photos of this dress is that it bends well, and the alpha was cut short enough to not make it an issue most of the time in poses. Which of course, is always a PLUS! I know I keep talking about them, but these shoes from Heathenesque have blown me away! The detail is amazing, and they seem to sparkle as you move around. The heel is perfect, and I have been looking for a great strapless set of shoes! No woman should have a closet that doesn't include these shoes! The new group gift skin from Poudre, "Nicki Rising", offered me a perfect opportunity to show off why redheads are truly, pretty in pink! And, I might have needed a pick me up, that rain, after all was a tapping on the window a bit too loudly, which of course led to some shopping therapy! The newest round of Collab provided the perfect outfit for me to accessorize with some of my other fantastic finds this month! Baiastice offers up this great caged top, which conveniently fits perfectly without an alpha, and skirt in a huge variety of colors and patterns, so make sure to go by and grab what you love most!

So since I was up late last night, I was out wandering around and suddenly noticed a sign I hadn't seen before, or well, maybe I just didn't pay any attention. But anyway, here is this sign that says "Lazy Sunday", so I joined the group and went on a little journey around the grid to some of my favorite stores, and to some places I had never heard of. Suddenly, I was grabbing items for 79L or under and finding some wonderful things! The Plastik, whose nail appliers I happen to wear quite often has a whole collection of outfits for the Lazy Sunday sale, called Clara. I was blown away with the number of dresses and mix and match pieces in this collection, so hurry over and grab yours tonight! But, the greatest find, at least for me, is this FANTASTIC skin from Flounce. "Lilly Peachy" comes with Slink appliers for hands, feet and the Physique. The makeup is quite lovely and the skin is smooth and very well detailed all for 75L or under. Trust me, it is worth taking up a group space and scrambling to get these pieces this week, before the clock strikes midnight!

Top - The Plastik - Brutal Top in the Clara Collection for Lazy Sunday
Every month I find myself wandering back to one of my favorite stores to grab their new goodies. Last week when I walked into GizzA I, for a brief moment, thought I might have stumbled into a new store.... The crisp lines and bright, fresh colors of their new Nautical Collection, and the pieces of, what I would call, their Boho Chic Collection have brought new life to GizzA! Needless to say, as you can imagine, I picked myself a whole bunch of things! This isn't a post about the newest or hottest event, it is about a quality store that provides unique, stylish clothing at pretty affordable prices! Don't get me wrong, I know I will spend at least 2k in Linden when I walk in the door, but I know that they will be of the highest quality with great attention to detail, and I know they will always fit in with my everyday wardrobe! Now, enough with that, let's get onto this outfit!!!
Matilda comes with the skin tight half tank, jacket, skirt, necklace, handbag and sunglasses in a variety of colors for you to choose from. The teal offered so many bright wonderful colors that it immediately got my attention and kept it! The complete look is stunning and the outfit is very well made as well. I am very particular about my shape, and there were minor adjustments to fit my curves into this perfectly. The handbag looks like real leather, and the pose coming with it is helpful when stopping to grab a picture in a great location!
If you follow my blog, then you know that Zenith is a favorite of mine when looking for perfect, whimsical accessories, and often clothes as well, and the Butterfly ring pictured here is no exception. Now I know, The Arcade and The Thrift Shop have ended now, but I have fallen in love with a few things from each of them.
EXILE's hair offering at The Arcade, is honestly something I played until I had them ALL! I love both of the styles offered in the London to L.A. pack, and of course, I rarely stray far from my reds! Check the yardsales and maybe the store to see if you can get your hands on this fantastic hair! The Papilones tattoo from The Thrift Shop has become a fast favorite, as it is very feminine and is not overdone. Check Letis for the tattoo now, since The Thrift Shop has been closed for a few days.
Now, one of the really neat features of this outfit, is the fact the tank is not mesh and the jacket can be worn with or without the tank top. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at the perfect on this jacket, with and without the top on underneath it. No alpha bleed through and I didn't feel like I was flashing the world, which is always a plus!

I fell in love with these bikinis from Osito featured in the gachas this round. They come in a variety of colors, including the Rare Red pictured here. The bikini fits well, and the delicate daisies are perfectly done! Of course, what beach scene would be complete without 7mad;Ravens Day @ the Beach Sandy Full Body tattoo! I love the detail and the real feel of sand to this tattoo. It comes in appliers for Slink feet and hands, as well as the full body tattoo!

The carousel music and the popcorn machines will soon stop at The Arcade, and if you haven't had a chance to wander through, hurry on down! And whoever the brilliant genius is behind the "invisible" avatar HUD that was sent out prior to the start of the event, should be given a medal in my eyes! I got to glide past everyone sitting there trying to load and stood right in front of the machines and never had to do the scan, pan and pray! Ok enough about the event, everyone should have been at least once in their SL adventures!
Today, let us focus on the Kimono Gacha from Pixiecat! I can honestly say, I have everyone of these BUT the rare, which of course, has caused me many sessions of grumbling and wanting to strangle the machine, however, everyone of these dresses is gorgeous! The details on the belt and the kimono itself are very well done. The hat, I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe this piece to you, it is truly stunning! The fan matches perfectly and sits well in the hand without having to manipulate things very much. Now, the alpha is a bit long on the thighs, but it didn't cause me any issues when taking pictures. Whatever your favorite color is, I am sure you will manage to find exactly what you want in that pretty little machine! EMO-tions has come on the seen lately with great hairs, and this one at The Arcade is no exception. Love the color options and the style in general, as it feels less stiff that a lot of hairs I have had on lately. Matched up with the Legacy Heels by Reign available at The Thrift Shop for a little while longer! With this hat and fan, accessories are really not needed, and honestly take away from the kimono!
