Sometimes you just need to sparkle

I am a firm believer in taking the time to dress up and go out on the town every now and then because I truly believe that everyone should take the time to sparkle every now and then.  Lately, with all the work on the house and moving we haven't had a lot of time for ourselves, let alone a chance to don our finest threads and step out for the night.  So when I opened up the blogger box from Ghostyss for Rock Your Rack, I was all kinds of excited to get to at least dress up online for a little bit, and sparkle.  If you happen to have events coming up this Fall or want to get a head start on the holidays then do yourself a favor and head on over to Ghostyss booth at Rock Your Rack and check out this absolutely stunning gown, and feel good about spending a few Lindens, as a portion of all proceeds go to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.


The Bernice gown comes in standards sizes as well as sizes to fit your favorite mesh bodies, all amazingly fitted to hug your curves with a daring open back adding a bit of sex appeal as you walk away, which I love looking good coming and going after all.  The small train sweeps well behind you as you walk and the tips of your shoes will peek out from under the hem, so make sure to put on your favorite sparkly shoes as well.  I love the intricate detailing from top to bottom on the dress meaning you don't need a lot of jewelry to enhance this look, it's pretty much perfect all on it's own.  Do yourself a favor and head by the event and check out all the amazing offerings at the event, and drop by Ghostyss for this dress and make sure to check out the 10L hunt item as well while you are there and join in on a hunt for a great cause with some fantastic prizes!  

With the mood of the month being one of charity, then head on over to Clawtooth and participate in the huge sale currently going on to help the wonderful creator as she assists her Mother through ALS, a degenerative muscle condition.  As soon as I saw the post about the sale I ran over and added about 20 new hairs to my collection of Reds, and I couldn't feel any better about it, helping someone in need while adding to my wardrobe is always a plus!  So get into the charitable mood this month and head by the sale and Rock Your Rack and give a little towards someone else who needs it.

Models Giving Back is pleased to present Rock Your Rack, an annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.

This year's 4th annual event will support the National Breast Cancer Foundation providing mammograms, education, support and early detection services to anyone in need.

The 2016 Event is all together on one sim and involves 63 designers including 9 Gold sponsors:  AlaFolie, Athena Couture, Dulce Secrets, Emerald Couture, Empyrean Forge, LaVian & Co, phedora, Prism and Kultivate Magazine.  Along with these designers,  14 DJ's, 11 Live Musicians, 22 2D/3D artists, and 22 models will participate in the two week long event.

Events during the fundraiser include 9 fashion shows, 11 live musical concerts,  12 DJ dance parties, a 10L Hunt,  Two Silent Auction areas, an Art Exhibit organized by Kultivate magazine, Art Auction and 7Seas Fishing Tournaments.  Designers will be providing exclusive creations with 100% of the sales of those items going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation along with a fine selection of the newest and most popular designs donating a percentage as well.

This year's event officially opens to the public on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 12:00am SLT and will close at 11:59pm SLT on Sunday, October 16, 2016.
