Life happens while you are making plans - Featuring Ashmoot

In the last twenty four hours our entire lives have changed as the youngest, who graduated in June, decided to leave home all of the sudden and move down to Phoenix. Most parents have a bit of notice and some time to get used to the idea of their children going to college or moving out and we are still reeling from the news while he has woken up in a new home this morning with the whole world before him. He has some health issues, so his father and I are biting our nails hoping he is mature enough to handle all the things he has to, and to take care of himself. Which I know is the worry of all parents, but when you add in needed medications, it becomes a greater stressor. But in the end this is his chance to prove something to himself, not just to us. So while we were making plans for the future of the family, life happened and now we have to regroup and see how things go before we continue with our plans. Though I am a bit fearful, at the same time I am SO excited for him! To be out in the world for the first time at 18 is a challenging and yet amazing time, especially when you are living with a friend and finding your way for the very first time. For Christmas this year the greatest gift we could get is a happy, healthy, well adjusted young man out on his own, living his dream!

For the first time I think in forever, the above part of my post has nothing to do with the photo, which just shows I write off the top of my head! This outfit has me feeling fierce, fabulous, and yes, a bit like revenge, though I'm not sure why! I have been looking for a reason to use this chair from SEUL for months now, and today was the day! The perfect Autumn ensemble - Featuring Ashmoot, and Desmonia

If you have ever spent any time in the mountains of Arizona in the Fall, then you know how amazingly beautiful it can be, and how temperamental the weather is as well. The skies are crystal blue, with gorgeous white, fluffy clouds and the temperatures rise into the 70's during the day, while the evenings are dotted with campfires and bonfires, the smell of smoke in the air, sweaters and temps that dive into the 30's. From head to toe this entire outfit is incredibly well designed, textured, and the attention to detail is absolutely amazing! The oversized sweater goes perfectly over the flirty, skater styled skirt, the jewelry and glasses are expertly designed to add the perfect details, and check out this magnificent purse that comes in two styles with and without poses. I just had to take more than one photo so I could show off all the details, including the gorgeous new nails and lips from Alaskametro and the fantastic shoes and stockings, also from Ashmoot, that complete this ensemble.

Hearts on fire

It happens to be one of those days where I can't seem to find my words since my mind is in such a jumble. For the last couple of months the schools in Flagstaff, one in particular, have been the target of what I would call school terrorism. Notes have been found talking of school shootings etc, with dates and targets, and it has everyone on edge. For the second day in a row, my son's girl friends school has gone into shutdown under threats and more notes found and I find my brain isn't on work as much as it is on the safety of not only my own children but all of those effected by these circumstances. We all have drawn a bit closer in the last few days and I am in contact more frequently with my man, basically pulling my family close to me like the mother hen I am. So excuse me for not having much to say the past few days, my mind is occupied with all kinds of things right now, which means anything I write turns into a jumbled mess. Spring Chic in Petit Chat and Ashmoot!

(This post was originally written on Monday, but due to a bit of an infection after oral surgery, I was unable to get it posted until today!)

I woke up this morning and while there was still sleep in my eyes I noticed a post from Powder Pack announcing the winners of their recent contest on Facebook.  I immediately went to share the post, happy for those who had won, when I thought I recognized a name, MINE!!  To say I was one very happy girl is the understatement of a lifetime.  For bloggers, all the new Bento changes mean we are having to fork out a lot of Lindens to keep ourselves current, and heads and skin appliers quickly eat through any budget you can put yourself on; so the introduction of the Powder Pack in general, has meant more of us can show you new goodies without having to break the bank.  I happen to not have a Catwa head, so I have been waiting with baited breath for the introduction of a LeLutka Powder Pack, so when I saw the announcement on Facebook about the April 1st release I quickly shared the link and my in-world name, without a thought I could possibly win the new LeLutka pack!  But today I went over to Powder Pack and reserved my pack with my $1500L balance, guaranteeing delivery April 1st, so make sure to check back in to see all the wonderful goodies packed into that box, which you know I will be showing off!

Jaded Confessions from the Frozzen Fair

While I had a little down time before my events for the month started, I went out and did a little shopping for me!  I happened to start at the Frozzen Fair and OH MY GOSH;  There are little gifties all over the stores!  Each one seemed to be from $1L to $5L's depending on the store and the item.  On my adventure I peeked into the Ashmoot store and immediately had to pick up the Veronique exclusive, ALL of it!

The attention to detail with this outfit is fantastic!  The tattoos are part of the ensemble and are tailored to fit with the corset top and pants perfectly.  The tattoo on the tummy says, "Every day I fly away" over a feather and it is quite lovely.  The baby wrapped in wings is part of that tattoo as well, so make note, both tattoos are 2 in one.  The accessory pieces are also very well fitted to the outfit, I just had to add a few extra pieces that I adore!   Deluxe Body Factory has released makeup for the Winter at Room69 and it is just gorgeous.  It comes in 2 versions, one with blue lips and one with pink, as pictured here.  The set is only 69L through the 20th of this month ONLY at Room69!  And if you have somehow missed the fact Truth is having a sale, then you REALLY need to  hurry before you miss it!  A 50% storewide sale continues until December 15th.  What are you waiting for?!

ReeA Tattoos released these hand tattoos a bit ago, but I just LOVE them.  The tattoos are for Slink hands and are on both sides of your hand, which is a great detail.  I am a stickler for the details, after all.  Not to mention the adorable heart on the finger as well.  If you haven't had a chance to get by the store then you should, as there are NEW RELEASES TODAY, which I will be showing you a little bit later!

DRBC @ Suicide Dollz!

It is the one year Anniversary of Suicide Dollz and if you haven't made it over to their new location yet, you are really missing out.  The new venue is ENORMOUS, which means all kinds of new decadent designers for us to see and get our hands on!  Oh, and make sure to peek around for the gifts and dollarbies in celebration of SD's birthday!  DRBC has their little place at this months event but it is FULL of new releases and special goodies just for the event!  When I saw the "Jade" Jumpsuit, I of course just HAD to try it out, and I only have fantastic things to say!  The textures are fantastic and so is the styling and mesh of this outfit!  Only part that broke when posing was a tiny spot on my foot, which...who cares about that!  The jumpsuit comes with a HUD giving you 8 different textures to choose from, making it a very versatile outfit and a MUST have in everyone's closet.  Might have made me a bit reminiscent of those days I spent on the back of a motorcycle, and a song started playing through my head, so I found a Motorcycle Club and went and had a bit of fun.

I love this entire outfit from head to toe!  The details are just adorable and complete the entire look without having to go find any other accessory!  The mesh on the jacket fits amazingly well and I just love the intricate lace on the leggings.  This is an essential for every fashion forward woman this Winter so HURRY on over to Sneak Peek and grad yours today!!!
