For years now I have been thankful that I didn't have a girl to try and raise in this world with all the fat shaming and body hating that seems to enter into every facet of our lives. I have been thin, I have been heavy, I have been fit and I have been somewhere in the middle, and it didn't matter the size, the problems with my body were always there; and the more I hated the body I was in, the more it revolted against me and the more I hated it. One day I made a choice to change everything about my life, including what I said in the mirror, because I learned I had to love myself first and foremost. You have to look in the mirror and tell it who is the fairest of them all, YOU!

Snow White is the theme for the newest round of Enchantment, which runs through the end of the month, and as I am sure you can imagine, there are all kinds of wonderful goodies for you to peruse! And you won't be disappointed when you see the new Snow White's Bedroom collection from Bee Designs. The entire set has fantastic little details, all pointing back to the original fairy tale, including the apples, photos of the dwarfs, castle bed to dream away the nights and of course the haunting mirror we are all so familiar with. Those wonderfully long Arabian Nights - Featuring Bee Designs @ Enchantment

If you are all like me, the moment I hear the words "Arabian Nights", Robin Williams is suddenly singing in my head and I am once again caught up in the magic of Aladdin. It's not uncommon for me to randomly break out in song lyrics when situations or words come up, so I was not surprised by the Aladdin moment but tried to quickly move on, because, well, there is nothing Disneylike about this gorgeous new bedroom set from Bee Designs! In the end I found myself on a musical journey with Morfou and ended up indulging in the tunes for a bit, which I decided needed to be shared.

The current round of Enchantment opened on the 12th and will shut it's doors and sweep up the sidewalks on the 31st, which means you don't have much time left to head over to the event and check out the 1001 Arabian Nights themed event! When my son was little I spent a lot of time at home and happened to fall in love with TLC and their wedding shows, which is where I first came into contact with the Sari, as fashion, the Hindu religion and the Pakistani culture. I was blown away by the gorgeous fabrics, intricate beading and the vibrant, lively colors; where no sari was like the next. I have always been interested in fashion trends from all over the world and I think the Sari is a versatile garment that can be daily wear, or it can be dressed up for any occasion as well. When talking about fashion on Second Life, role-play is a HUGE part of many peoples lives online, and it is often overlooked by fashion bloggers because it fits a particular niche, and that means so many people don't get to see the amazing designs from the Role-play community creators. So today I wanted to show off this absolutely stunning new design from Whymsical Marketplace, currently available at Enchantment.

The Arabian Nights Maharani gacha features the sari in different colors, for adults and toddledoos, as well as the Scheherazade Headdress, which is a rare. The head piece can be sized upon touch as well as you can change the gem stone color making it a versatile piece of jewelry that I know will be taking up permanent residence in my jewelry box. The fabrics are wonderfully textured with gorgeous color combinations that I am sure will delight you, whether for your next role-play adventure, or if you just happen to love the design as I do!
